But there..in those moments ..I sensed true poignancy...SSCD is her one true so sibling...that he has always been in her corner, caring for her, breaking into Amer even after expulsion...risking his life just to tell her the truth about her would be spouse...these are all vital to her ...he is the only one who has shown genuine caring, and not left her to her fates...AND, he is her teacher...her formative guru...how can she NOT protect him...he , after all , is willing to die for her, and her spouse...

Brother and sister exemplified true courage..I truly like this dude...head held high, even in chains..( yeah sure he knew he cud crack and bend the totally bendable bars of the leaky cauldron...aka Mughal dungeon)...and her...honour, integrity, respect...

On a serious note, from whatever I have read about this guy, he was respect worthy ( unlike his kakasa)

That he rocks an Annarkali...ain't that bad either...😉

And in conclusion, coming forth to huff, puff n blow your house down scenes..for those who glowed at the actor's depiction of the scene...I kinda disagree..

I actually thought it was she who walked away with the honours...in an intense emotional scene...there is always a foil...counter foil play...

Anyone seen Cheeni Kum???...and feel free to disagree with me here...

When Big B is in full bluster n drama mode...it is the superlative underplaying of emotion and action by Tabu...who is hands down one of my fave actors ever..that gives each moment its grip and intensity..

Paridhi here speaks with her eyes and her body...beautifully...despair,commitment, honour, promise, shock, denial and heartbreak are all there...underplayed to provide an apt counterpoint to the shatter, smash, bellow and rage actions going on around her...

You are right...I too was going gaga about Rajats performance...failed to notice her expressions...watched it again after reading your post...good observation👏

Rage...is an emotion clear, all consuming...and that much more deadly when it is quiet, feral and cold...bluster and snort take away its effect...and cause unintentional comedy...it's more tantrum than soul shattering agony
