CHAPTER-6.

The vigilant eyes that watch over the darkness-

The voiceless scream that no one can hear..

You might never know when you have walked into the trap-

But The Predator has seen it all and keeps you right there..

Astha Kirloskar entered the office in a fit of nervousness..

She was afraid she might be fired from her job..And the worst thing was she was looking forward to it..

She just could not believe how she had messed up her dream career her chance of once in a lifetime for working at the Agnihotri Institute..

All her university life had been spent on studying hard,just to get here,and now..

"Miss Kirloskar..?"

Astha nearly jumped up in startled fear at the sound of her immediate boss..

She closed her eyes and made a silent prayer,as she made her way to his office.

A bemused,confused and stunned Astha came out of her Boss's office,still holding the letter she had been handed..

She still could not believe what she had been told..

While she was wondering if she would be kicked out from her job,all she got was a confirmation letter for it..And according to the deal,for the next two months her duty would be mostly out of the office,and that meant she had next to zero chances of meeting the CEO..!

Astha could not believe she had been given whatever she wanted so easily..!And that also before asking for it!

With a soft laughter of happiness she sat back at her desk,starting on her day's work,with a jubilant mood..

Shlok leaned back on his chair with a satisfied smile on his face..

The trap had been set..

And it was time for him to take the next step..

Astha was however not in a very good mood the next day,as he met her new team leader..

Sanjay Ahuja-A very cranky and bossy man,who was ready to find fault at each and everything..

But her other two team mates were quite friendly..One of them a girl called Sweety,and the other a guy called Ashok..

The four of them were supposed to leave for Goa,that very day..

They had a party to arrange for a very renowned and important client..

Astha on reaching Goa,found her mood getting better by the second..

Her work kept her engrossed,and her co workers kept her smiling with their jokes lightening up the heavy atmosphere created by their grouchy boss..

It was late night when Astha managed the time to ask for the key to her room..

They had been given rooms in the same resort where the program was supposed to be held..

She was informed from the lobby that her luggage had been delivered to her room..

So a very tired Astha entered the fully carpeted and dimly lit air conditioned room..And as she saw the perfectly made up bed,she could not help but run to it with a squeak of happiness..

Throwing away her dupatta to a side,she lay flat half on the bed..Her legs still dangling out,sinking deep into the soft carpeted floor..

The cool air from the air conditioner relaxed her fast..

Within seconds she felt her eye lids become heavy..

She did not know what woke her up,but she felt a drop of water on her face that made her frown sleepily..

And as she slowly dragged her eyes open,she nearly screamed out loud as she saw a half naked tall man standing with a small towel draped round his waist,with his back to her just by the bed..

The man was busy drying his hair,and so droplets of water fell on her face again..

Astha blinked and tried to see properly,not really able to believe if she was hallucinating or still dreaming,or was a half naked man really in her room..?!!

As she stared on shocked not able to raise herself or make a sound,she watched horrified as the man was about to open and drop the towel he had wrapped round his waist..

That was exactly when she squeaked out in horror closing her eyes,not ablt to see him doing the act,even if it was in her dream..

"WHAT THE f**k!!!"The loud curse made her open her eyes wide,and she almost had her mouth hanging open,as she stared into a pair of familiar angry dark eyes.

"What the hell are you doing here?!!"The familiar husky voice snapped out.

Astha stared dumbly unable to reply,and afraid to look anywhere but his enraged face,completely lost for words..

And before she knew it she was pulled up roughly from her lying position on the bed,and nearly raised off the floor,so that he could see eye to eye with her.

"I asked WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING HERE?!!"

Astha gulped down a knot of discomfort,as she looked at his face so close to hers,his flared nostrils,his dark burning angry eyes..And then ,since suddenly she felt thirsty she wet her dry lips..

Instantly she saw a change of expression on his face,as he slowly let her down..And as her body brushed down his slightly wet naked chest,she could clearly watch him inhale a sharp surprised breath,as his face darkened with an expression of intense need..

And before she knew what was happening,he pulled her hard and close against himself..Her kameez clad body plastered close to his slightly wet hard naked chest..

His large hands curved round her waist,his pupils dilated as they stared down at her parted lips,and then into her eyes..And Astha stood helplessly staring back at him as her heart beat tripled and hot uncontrollable feelings started coursing her nerves and blood streams..
