CHAPTER-5.

Thud thud the heart beats-

The lungs and veins on fire..

Now who will save the little prey-

From the Predator's ire?

Astha tried to step back,trying to put some distance between him and her..As she felt herself unable to move due to the walls of the lift,she realised what an impossible task it was.

So she stopped and suddenly decided to fight her ground.

"Don't..Don't come closer Mr...Whoever you are don't come closer!"She stammered out trying to look more courageous than she felt at that moment.

Her words seemed to work..!

Her eyes widened in astonishment,and she felt like jumping out with joy as the tall dark looming man stopped coming closer at her words!But of course she knew she could not dance at that moment,while they were trapped in a lift in the middle of God knew which floors!

But then her eyes took in the smile that came on his lips..A smile that did not reach his hard glittering eyes,and her heart started fluttering nervously again.

"Agnihotri..Mr. Shlok Agnihotri.."He said softly,and Astha's mouth hung open in shock at his words.

"Ag-..Ag.."She gulped down a knot of confusion..

So he was The SHLOK AGNIHOTRI?!!Oh Bappa!What had she gotten herself into..?!

"Agnihotri..Miss Astha Kirloskar.."He said again in a bored and irritated voice,and this time Astha nodded numbly,not able to talk anymore..

She felt as if the whole world had come crashing down at her feet.How could someone look so different from a picture..?!The pictures she had seen in the newspapers and magazines looked so much different from the real man..!

Was it any wonder that her co-workers had all been giving her odd looks from the moment she had walked out of his office by giving her a piece of her mind..!

How could she be so dumb and careless?!!

Inhaling a staggering breath,she tried to step sideways,when her ankle twisted,and with a loud yelp of pain she fell on top of the only other human in the lift.

Shlok took a second to get over the shock of her falling on top of him,and then quickly pushed her away,as his body reacted to her touch once again..And this time quite against his wish..

He hated it when something happened against his wish..And this was something he had not planned at all.

Angry at himself and also her for taking him aback he tried to push her away fast,but her loud yelp of pain made him stop..

His jaw clenched tight in anger,when breathing heavily he looked up at her lying on top of me,as he himself lay half on the floor of the lift,and suddenly something weird happened to him.

Without thinking he sat straight with her back against the lift wall,and placed her on his lap,as easily as if she weighed nothing at all.

Shlok did not wait to read her surprised gasp or the blush that crept high up her cheeks..

He just got into business,and taking off her sturdy flat shoe,he studied her sprained ankle..

As he checked the slight swelling she winced out in pain again,and held onto his collar for support..

Suddenly her soft fingers brushing against his hot skin at the parting of his shirt,made his body tighten in need,and Shlok irritated more than ever,did what he felt was the quickest way out of this unwanted situation.

He forcefully twisted her ankle to fix it,and after a loud yelp of pain,she finally stopped,when she realised he was still pressing on the ankle and it was not hurting anymore.

Breathless from the sudden excruciating pain,she stared up at his face,and watched as if transfixed as he removed his hand from her ankle and slowly looked down at her face,so close to his.

Astha felt she was paralysed,as she sat still on his lap,her hone hand still on his collar,as he looked down at her with those dark deadly eyes..His warm breath falling on her face.and making her heart and pulse race..

She tried to move away,but only manged to slip and fall back onto his lap..

And this time suddenly his one hand curved round her waist and tightened over there,squeezing her sift waist from over her kameez,making her gasp out as a jolt of something strange and new passed though her system.

His mesmerizing dark eyes locked her wide confused ones in its hold,as his face came closer..

Astha could not move at that moment even if the lift had been on fire..The eyes completely trapped her in his hold.

And before she could breath or blink,his lips swooped down on hers,claiming her soft lips in a hard searing raw kiss of need and hunger.

To Shlok she tasted like heaven as he sucked on her full soft juicy lips,with the hunger that his body yearned for hers..He kissed her rawly,as his tongue forcefully entered her mouth,and sucked on her tongue and licked at the soft insides of her mouth,making her moan out against his lips.

And yet he kissed her hard and with more hunger,and suddenly his hand moved up to cup her soft full swelling bosom,while his hardened shaft brushed deliberately against her soft bottom..

The moment his hand closed over one of her rounded breast,she gasped out and pushed him away..

And Shlok let her go..

She had staggered to her feet and Shlok smoothly stood up too,just like the predator he was,his body in control like that of a well oiled machine.

The girl stared at him angrily now,and was opening her mouth to say something when,the lift jolted and started moving..

And then within seconds,the door opened,and the girl sending him a last wrathful look ran out,as Shlok slowly followed out..

His dark eyes followed her retreating back,as his tongue licked at his lips,were he could still taste her sweetness..

His body tightened some more in need,as a dangerous glitter came to his eyes,and a soft smile came on his full lips..

Now that he had tasted her..He wanted more..He wanted all and everything..The predator was now sure what he wanted..And what he wanted he always got..
