Miss you, didi!Vidya Balan

Vidya Balan is pretty depressed nowadays. And the reason is not her recent misses at the box-office, but the fact that her didi, Priya, has flown the nest - and the country. It only makes things worse that Priya was her closest friend and confidante.

Vidya says "My sister Priya has moved with her husband to Bangkok. I miss her a lot. When she left, I was working round-the-clock, so I didn't get the time to miss her too much. But now that I have the time I'm really missing her. That's why as soon as I finished my schedule I went to Bangkok to meet her. I share everything with my parents. But my sister, who is four years older than me, is my best friend. She also pampers me royally."

Now, Vidya intends to get computer savvy to stay in touch with her sister. "Priya not being in Mumbai is a big blow for me. Now when I'm travelling I worry about my parents being alone."

While Vidya was traveling, three of her films opened and left theatres with poor responses. "I know," she sighs. "I guess because my first two films did well, somewhere I began to think that all my films will work. Because I believed in what I was doing I thought my belief would translate into success. I thoroughly enjoyed working on Salaam-e-Ishq. However to my surprise I didn't get upset when it didn't do as well as we expected. That's when I realised I can take success and disappointments in my stride."

It's parting from her near and dear ones that she hasn't learnt to take in her stride.
