Yesterday's episode was a huge disappointment. I was eagerly waiting for the confrontation between Jalal and Jodha ,but I am sorry to say this, it was bad.
It could have been one of the best episodes but unfortunately it ended up as a ridiculous and contemptible one. I don't know whether anyone else noticed, but what Jalal did yesterday was not good acting it was overacting which was not expected of him.
It started off well with Jalal catching Sujamal red-handed in Jodha's room. Jalal yelling at Jodha to confess etc...but somewhere down the line they lost it. I would blame the creative team more than the actors for coming up with such a cheap script. What was all the Hulk-like stunts about? He is a King, for God's sake. Not some roadside hooligan.
Yes, I agree he was brilliant in bringing out his emotions and frustrations. But his overacting undid the good he did. I actually feel sorry for Rajat now, he did a good job but it got wiped away with the unnecessary yelling he did. He has broken things even before in the show sans the yelling and histrionics which made girls go gaga over him. But yesterday, he botched it up.
The Benazir episode was in comparison amazing. With the right amount of acting and expressions both Rajat and Paridhi were fabulous. Of course, Jodha did nothing but stand like the statue of Diana yesterday.
The whole Sujamal scene was unrealistic and poorly scripted.by taking that promise from Jodha, he literally dug her grave. What was he thinking? Does he have any brains? He is aware that Jalal has seen him in Jodha's room. Asking her to keep quiet now, is stupid and foolish.
It would have been better to admit the truth and reduce the intensity of the punishment that is irrevocable.
So, that is it. I had to vent my frustrations as I was terribly unhappy with the episode.
Still asserting the fact that I love AkDha and PariJat as much as before. I am still loyal to them. One episode is not enough to negate that. I apologise if I have unintentionally hurt anyone's sentiments.
THANKYOU
