Raghav needed to think about it, as he couldn't imagine spending any time away from his best friend Kalpi, but he decided that this was something he had to do for his future, for his late dad, and to make Kalpi proud. He promised Kalpi that he will be back and that she should wait for him. She agreed to all his demands and they promised that they will keep in touch always. They started writing to each other after a few weeks of Raghav settling down in London. This went on for weeks, months and eventually it was 10 years later.

They were apart during these 10 years, but didn't miss anything that happened in each other's life. He was aware of all that she went through, and she was aware of the hardships he had. They could not wait to be reunited. At this time they both realised they were more than friends, they loved each other dearly. Kalpi found all of the love she was deprived of in those letters, and Raghav derived all his strength from her words. They both guided each other and supported each through all their life's hurdles.

The much awaited day arrived and the Yadhav family was awaiting the arrival of Raghav. As usual Paakhi was there, for all family functions, she will invite herself over. Kalpi knew that Paakhi's presence brought a smile to her mom's face, so she had to accept that at all functions; Paakhi baby had to be there. Kamla could never see the pain and void in Kalpi's eyes, longing for her attention and affection. Kalpi thought, she will be so happy with Raghav around that she will not miss not having her mom's attention. She spotted Raghav a mile away; he was as handsome as she had visualized in her dreams. Paakhi also looked in that direction and started looking at him in shock; she turned to Kamla and told her, Raghav is so handsome, she thinks its love at first sight, and asked Kamla to promise her that she will unite her with him. Kalpi's face suddenly changed when she heard her mum agreeing to Paakhi's demand. Kalpi knew at that point she had lost him, lost the first and last person she had and would ever love. He mother will leave no stone unturned to make sure that Paakhi makes Raghav hers. With this in mind, she stepped back, and hid behind the pillar. Kalpi watched them all meet Raghav, and noticed that Raghav kept scanning the area looking for that familiar face, that familiar eyes and that familiar smile. He suddenly became sad when he realised that she (Kalpi) didn't come to receive him, we spoke so much about this moment, and she didn't come. From behind the pillar she wanted so much to come running to him and embrace him, but her mother's promise to Paakhi echoed in her head. Raghav was very upset that she had broken the promise, but still he thought his Kalpi will never disappoint him deliberately, it must have been something beyond her control. He thought that, and then smiled and happened to be looking in Paakhi's direction, oblivious of her presence. Paakhi nudges Kamla and says to her, that Raghav is staring at her and has a huge smile on his face. Raghav suddenly gets out of his trance like state, and bids farewell to the Yadhav's, and says he has made arrangements for accommodation, and will come meet them soon.

Kalpi had already left the airport, and while walking aimlessly she ended up at the temple, the very temple that she would sit outside and write her letters to Raghav. She went inside, and wanted to thank God for bringing Raghav back safely, she cried bitterly as he felt that she didn't come there, and she started relating the whole incident that happened at the airport and why she had to leave without meeting him. She asked God why she always has to sacrifice that which she loves for Paakhi. As anything that Paakhi wants, Paakhi gets, because Kamla sees to it that she does. She confesses to God that she loves Raghav dearly, and that if she stayed at the airport, it would have been evident to all, so she left. Suddenly she heard someone saying "I love you too, and I am not letting go of you, not now, not ever" She turned around in shock, and she saw that adorable face again, her Raghav, her eyes welled up with tears and she could not help but run into his arms. The stood embracing each other for a good length of time, then she remembered her mom's promise and she pushed him away. He looked at her surprised, and asked her if she loves him? She nodded in the affirmative. He pulled her towards him again, and said well that is all that matters to him. She should leave the rest to him, as it will be his responsibility to speak to her family. He embraces her, and asked her to promise to stand by him, so he can achieve all that he sets out to. He has no fear if she is at his side. She promises to be with him, and not give up on their love. He was overwhelmed by her words and kissed her on her forehead.

At the Yadhav's home, everything was lively and noisy, it almost seemed like they didn't even realize Kalpi was not around. Raghav told Kalpi that he is starving and if she would join him for dinner, she enthusiastically said yes. Hand in hand they both went to the car, and drove off. They have not laughed so much in years; they caught up with all the recent happenings. Kalpi had to at times fight back the tears of happiness that kept creeping in her beautiful eyes. This did not go unnoticed by Raghav. He felt blessed that he had decided to go to the temple from the airport before going to the hotel, as he was sure he would find Kalpi there, thanking God for his safe arrival. They didn't even realize how well they knew each other. Earlier the waiter was also taken aback as Kalpi had placed the order for Raghav's meal and he made the order for her meal. Such a perfect couple thought the waiter. They were having so much fun that they didn't realize how the time went by; and the restaurant was now closing. Kalpi told him that she needs to get home, otherwise by now they would have realised that she is not there, as Paakhi would have left. The void was evident in her eyes, Raghav just took her hands in his, and those lifeless eyes lit up, she realized that with him she will long for nothing as he will always be there for her and she will always be his first priority. This is something she has never felt before, at that point she decided that will not sacrifice her love, her life or her happiness for Paakhi, she will fight for him. Raghav was worth the fight. He has worked hard and made himself a successful businessman, who is in the forefront of the construction industry. He told her that she should meet him for breakfast the next day, as he wants to go to her college thereafter. She was confused about the reason he wanted to go to the college, but agreed that she will meet him, and she will find out soon enough the reason behind him wanting to go to the college.

Kalpi walked into the house, and her mother asked her where she had gone to and that Raghav asked for her. She told her mum she met some old friends and started talking, not realising the time. Kamla accepts that answers, and goes to sleep. Kalpi can't sleep, she can still smell his scent, feel his gentle touch which was sending shivers down her spine. She remembered her promise to meet him in the morning and forced herself to sleep. On the other side Raghav also had trouble sleeping as he could not wait for morning to come to meet his Kalpi again, and to finally get to the bottom of her results fiasco.

Finally the sun had risen, and people continued their normal routine. However Kalpi was smiling and starting to become impatient as she could no longer wait to see Raghav. She had time to think about what Raghav may want to do at the college, she remembers that she had written to him about the upcoming examination and the fact that she was prepared fully for it. Upon receipt of her results she had updated him on the outcome and the strange loss of the three sheets from her answer booklet. Kalpi thought upon his return his first task is to sort my life out, I am so fortunate to have him in my life. It was time for Kalpi to leave to meet Raghav and the planned venue; she was excited and now has a smile that reached her eyes. Raghav was also eagerly awaiting the time to get to see his Kalpi again. As she walked into the restaurant, he sensed her presence and turned towards the door, motioning her to come through. Kalpi with a smile on her face gracefully walked towards him, he stood up and took her into his firm arms, making her blush. They enjoyed a scrumptious meal together, feeding each other at times. This made them both smile, and the people around them watching them with such admiration, thinking new love with such great chemistry and understanding. Kalpi wanted him to tell her the reason behind the visit to the college, but all he said was that she will understand when they get there. She had no choice but to accept this and wait till they got to the college.

Raghav and Kalpi walked into the college hand in hand, smiling as if they had just won the lotto. Raghav went to the dean's office, and introduced himself, and mentioned that he as per telephonic discussion is here to see the cctv footage from the college security database. Raghav handed over a document which looked like a court order for this tape to be released. She looked at him in amazement, as she realised that he had been working on this for a while, to ensure that justice is served. She loved him even more now, if that was even possible, as she loved him so much already. They stood watching the tape, and she sensed his anger when he saw that Neetu had paid the person and instructing him to fail Kalpi and make Paakhi come first. Raghav was furious and clenched his fists, when suddenly Kalpi held his hand and gave him a reassuring nod. He just looked at her with so much love, thinking that she is so innocent and has a heart of gold. Had it been someone else in this position, they would have reacted so differently, she was so cool, calm and collected. He couldn't imagine his life without her. He silently made a promise to himself that he will always protect her and keep her safe from all the evil around them. The investigation continued, and the dean advised that he will contact Raghav and inform him of Kalpi's results within the next hour.
