Radha's character

I know many of you will be angry and beleive me I myself am in two minds about her character.
I hate it for all she has done, but then if we think deeply probably she just wants love? she is doing all this revenge etc out of a sense of misplaced loyalty. Umang was the first person according to her to show her love.

I mean her Mother was an insane person from the time of her birth till she became an adult and she was tied to her mother's wrist all the time. So love there ?? not really only paranoid behaviour of her mother. Her father--probably was travelling and earning money for the family (even abroad possibly--he had a lot of USD in his trunk before Radha's marriage to Umang).
After Gopi was found, the parents showered all their love on Gopi.

Then after she started living in MM, Rashi -- did kalakari's and almost turned her into a servant.

Gopi- even though she loved Radha, Rashi's kalakari's made Radha think that Gopi hates her and this was cemented for Radha when Gopi confronted her with her behaviour towards Koki and her actions leading to Jigar-Rashi almost divorce, their refusal to accept Umang, and the entire Modi family sending her "Bhabhi" to jail.

At this lowest point of her life, Umang plotted and she met Umang , fell for his fake love and she still refuses to beleive that he is/was a fraud. She was shown as a good person in the beginning but circumstances changed her and now she is blind with wanting only revenge.

I am not in anyway condoning her behaviour, ( she went to the extent of harming an innocent child and was happy doing it) ,

but at the same time she harmed only Meera, not Tolu Molu. If she wanted revenge on Modi's she would have harmed every single child in the family, so that means her revenge was only against Gopi (for killing Umang according to her). So is it jealousy that she lost mother's love also because of Gopi.

I am simply trying to understand her. I pity her sometimes, Probably she also just wanted love and family but fate was against her😕

The Modis had forgiven her for her mistakes but she repaid them by eloping with Umang and trying to kill Gopi and Meera.

Before the disappearance of Gopi Madhu was sane but the disappearance og Gopi had a very bad efffect on madhu. The shock treatment was when Ahem told her that Meera is not Gopi but his daughter Meera.

Everyone had warned Radha about Umang but she choose the wrong path and instead choose a life of crime and deceit. She and Tripti should be jailed.

Radha is pure evil, she choose to believe and support strangers rather than her own family.

she supported strangers because as I said earlier, from her view point she was always deprived of love by her parents, sisters and she was staying in MM where Koki was always after her and she thought she got the unconditional love from Umang and her family is again trying to throttle her happiness.

I hate Radha but I do hope that she teaches Ahem and Kokila a very good lesson.

I absolutely agree with you "searching for love does not mean you can kill people" which is why I wrote I am NOT CONDONING her behaviour. She needs to be punished for what she has done. I am with everyone who hates her actions. I am just trying to understand how a person can change so much? from being good to pure evil. circumstances? love? insecurity? In which case I pity her that her search for love has resulted in her turning evil and finished her entire life.

Radha cannot be so desperate for love that she can even kill an year old baby.. who is her niece, her own sister's daughter who is like her daughter.. How can she even think of ? I have absolutely no mercy on Radha..

wanting love or having loyalty to wrong people aside, there is no reason to hurt a baby and separating her from parents

Yes when you are in love you done listen to anyone ...and umang fake love made rahda very important ...she had someone who loved her and only her... I can understand radha a little better reading this post... Rahda is crazy and she needs help ... she needs to go to a mental hospitaland she needs treatment... Look what kingal did when she want to marry umang ... she put the family thru alot ... she even ran away... umang is not even good lokking and look what he does to women ...He had 3 women in love with him

if u forget i will tell u radha will try to kill tolu molu by giving intentionally hint of detonation of gas & after that make tolu molu angry on her such that she can go out of this house to save herself from explosion

I admire you for writing this post. An interesting fact is that the "pure" Gopi has not raised her hand on anyone except Radha. In the Swayam kk, nobody let her say one word about why she had retaliated. People pretended as if Rashi was an abla naari (despite knowing her kk track record) and Radha an evil witch. Gopi even saw her being treated like a servant but she brushed it under the rug.

On the other hand, Umang sat and listened to her express her feelings. He showered his fake love upon her. He even called her "Radha ji". Basically took advantage of the situation and gave her the respect she never got.
Then he got murdered and Gopi admitted to the murder. When Radha tried to protest against what Gopi did, Ahem and Kokila would say "Band karo apni bakwaas". The Modis know Gopi is not capable of such a thing but for Radha Gopi is the woman who strongly sided with the woman who had played with her feelings for no rhyme or reason. And then raised her hand on her and kicked her out of the house. So she considered both Rashi and Gopi to be not good people.

Further even Madhu sided with Gopi in all of this. Basically the whole world seemed to be against her except her "late husband" and "bhabhi", whom the Modis sent to jail.

It is easy for a person to lose their mental balance in the face of repeated, grave perceived injustice.
