Hi guys

This is my first post in the Mahabharat Forum and I am confused after seeing something. I know the makers have done the whole Chausar Game in length for the viewers to understand what actually may have happened.

But what I don't understand is why Yudhishtir kept playing the game? He lost all his wealth, his palace, his brothers ...I get that but why did he bet himself when Bheem had told him not to bet himself because he can release them if he does not do so?

And today after losing himself in the bet how can he bet Draupadi ? How can a das bet?

I have been trying to understand why the game never got stopped but continued. Why nobody intervened?

Could somebody explain please?

Cheers

many theories ..
they never expected to be cheated in presence of all elders in the court ..
acc. to rules they had to keep playing till dhrit said end the game and
it also believed tht yudi was a degenerate gambler who thought one good hand he will win everything back ..
