Anyways, IMHO, American women are no different when we talk about women in general..In fact the pressure is more on them and the struggles they face are much more and completely in different vein, considering the freedom that they were thought to be enjoying...So yes, American women are oppressed too...

I will now wait for the other esteemed memebers to put forth their views.. 😃

Will speak for the majority that I have seen - not making a sweeping statement 😊
In terms of family life, they're not anymore.
But professionally, many of them feel that way and for a reason.
