Now i hav a request here. At the outset of the contest a rule/guideline was created that 'the judges' decision will be final and there cannot be any questioning of that. please do check the rules topic 😊
we are all very happy to have so many good singers and to judge their performance is indeed becoming difficult by the judges. This fact is also evident to the mentors who are privy to the Judges ratings and they can see for themselves how close the ratings are between two rankings. The mentors are also forwarded the judges comments by PM for the results of a round, so that they get to see the criteria for judgment and the judges opinions (this part when sent). at times maybe a difference of, maybe not even full 1 marks, by one of the judges is causing the difference in the ranking.
It is my request to the mentors to go through the ratings and the judges comments when it is sent AND if there is still any further clarification required, then the mentors are more than welcome to a voice their opinion, concern, issues, but
please make it through PM to the coordination team and sort it out. We should remember that many participants can be demoralized by seeing their rankings questioned when such concerns are voiced openly and i am sure as responsible and senior members here none of us want to undermine their achievements 😊
As we approach the future rounds, it will indeed be difficult to see a participant get eliminated as all of them are just too good. So, we would really appreciate, if the following two rules of the "Rules and Regulations" that was drawn up for this contest is very judiciously followed:
13. The judge's decision is abiding and final and cannot be contested or argued upon.
14. Mentors are requested to maintain cordiality amongst themselves, conduct themselves in a manner befitting their status in the contest. In the event of any disagreement, they are open to resolve it amongst themselves via PM and not bring the same onto forum or bring the same to the notice of other members of sections.
Thanks.
Co-Ordination Committee.
