Zoya continuing to claim her father's innonence for killing Rashid was a bit too melodramatic to the point of being irritating. You hardly know this man who has done nothing to come forward and find his daughter; Siddique does not have a favourable track record (he is after all involved in her mother's death) and suddenly she is willing to forsake everything (including her relationship wth Assad) . No wonder Assad felt like slapping her - may be the slap would have brought her to her senses đ
