kalpi - thanks dad...im very happy too
dev baba - have u called ur aai and baba and informed them abt ur decision to go abroad for college and the scholarship u have won ...
kalpi - not yet dad ...im scared what if they dont allow
avi ma - of course they allow sweetie ...they love you and tumhari kushi mein uki kushi hai...
kalpi - alright ill give them a call
kalpi picks up the phone and calls her aai ...its been a while she talked to her Real family...she still remembers the first time she met avi ma at the hostel
Flashback
one month after she joined the boarding school
kalpi sat there on the swing holding a pic of her aai and baba and softly crying...
thats when a woman wearing a beautiful saree comes and sits near her and says
bacha ,why are u crying ? is something wrong mujhe batao na ?????????
kalpi looks at her and feels such a weird connection to her and starts sobbing more
that woman - its ok bacha dont cry ...and comforts her ...hi bacha ...i am anvita kaur ...whats ur name bacha ?
kalpi sobbingly says - kalpana jadav...
anvita - now bacha tell me why ure crying...
kalpi feeling somewhat connected to anvita tells her everything...abt her family ,abt how hr aai loves pakhi more ...abt how they sent to boarding school to became a memsaab...after she finishes telling anvita she feels a little relieved as if a weight had been lifted off her shoulder...
anvita is shocked to hear all this here she wanted so badly to have child and here kalpana 's mother distanced herself from kalpana ...anvita was not against boarding school but felt angered by kalpana's mom...when anvita had first seen kalpana sitting on the swing alone she had asked the warden about her..seeing that anvita was one the members of the school board she had told abt kalpana as much as she knew .The warden had also told her that kalpana had not made any friends and always stayed alone...anvita also feeling a strange connection had come near kalpana and sat next to her.
Anvita smiled at kalpi and said - its ok bacha ...now that ure here ...ure going to have lots of fun
kalpana - fun ?????
anvita - yes fun ...like playing games ,music,dance anything u want
kalpana - but i dont know any of that ...how can i...(feeling uncertain)
anvita - ohh thats ok bacha ill teach u ...
slowly slowly anvita and kalpana started to bond ...anvita taught kalpana to have fun and make friends ...over the few weeks both anvita and kalpana boded really well ...anvita made kalpana into a fun loving as well as a hard working child...she even introduced kalpana to her husband dev ...they both loved kalpana very much and kalpana loved them too
over the years while still at the hostel she found amazing friends and got the love of parents from anvi ma and dev dad...kamala ma never once called her or came to visit her ...she had often talked to her baba but he also had never come even once to see her...but soon she got used to it and so what if her real parents never came ...she always had anvi ma and dev dad with her ...they always came to her every function and always supported her ...even during the vacations she stayed with them at their house ...she was the daughter they never had ...they were the reason she had come so far in life and had come 2nd in her 12 th board exams... thought kalpi
at the same time on the receiver someone said - hello ...koi hai ???
she recognized that voice as her pakya dada
kalpi - hello dada mein kalpi bol rahi hoon...
pakya - kalpi...tu...congrats aaj tune sab ko kush ker diya ...im so proud of u...
tabhi...pakya mujhe phone dena ...and he gives the phone
kamala - kalpi...
kalpana has tears in her eyes after so many years she is speaking to her aai
kalpi- haan aai ...
kamala - bahut kush hain aaj beta ...tune aaj apni aai ko bahut kush kiya hai...
kalpi - thank you aai...
before she could say something else kamala ma - ley baba se baat ker
kalpana felt sad...but smiles again when she hears her baba speak
vital - meri rajkumari...kaisi hai ? aur bata kab mein aur teri aai aye tujhe lene...
kalpana takes a deep breath and says - mein thik hoon baba aur mere ane ke bare mein hi aap se baat karni thi...dada ko ek min phone dijiye
vital gives the phone to pakya
dada - haan bol
kalpi - dada phone ka speaker phone on kijiye pls mujhe aap sab se baat karni hai
pakya ons the speaker phone and says haan kalpi bol aai aur baba sune rahe hai
kalpi- aai , baba mujhe ek college ne scholarship diya hai...
kamala - yeh toh achi baat hai beta ...
kalpi - haan achi baat toh hai ...but yeh college abroad hai aur kal hi mujhe nikalna hoga
pakya - kya...
kalpi - haan dada ...yeh ek achi college hai aur agar meine yaha se graduation ki toh mujhe ek achi naukari milegi...
kamala - kalpi...
kalpi- pls aai maan jaiyena pls ...mein apka sapna poora karne walliyu ...pls aai
baba - per rajakumari ...videsh kyun humari apni desh mein ache college hain vaha ker lena
kalpi - ache college hain per best nahi aur phir college mere liye sab kuch provide ker raha hai so pls baba
kamala - thik hai bete ...
kalpi - thank uuu...aai ab mujhe jana hai bye...
kamala - bye beta
