Part-47

Geet nodded and opened the bag to take her dress to change for the night..Life has taken so many turns for her just in one day. She was hell tired after facing so much turmoil since morning..She was in dire need of sleep..

She took out her dress to change and went in to the bath room..After few minutes she came out of the bathroom and her eyes fell on Maan...

Maan was changing the bandage of his wounded hand..Geet looked at it and the memories of the morning when maan filled her maang with his blood refreshed in her mind. She shivered again as the flashes of whole day danced in front of her eyes..her eyes filled up again. she was standing near the couch and was folding her wedding dress to keep it in the bag..while folding the dress she turned once again and found Maan struggling with the bandage..He was not able to do the dressing with the left hand as his right hand had the wound.. Geet saw that but did not say a word. Suddenly that bandage slipped out of his left hand and rolled on the floor..Geet looked at the bandage and saw that he was not able to do the dressing of his hand. She picked up bandage in her hand and again she rolled it back ..She came near Maan. Maan forwarded his hand to take the bandage from Geet ..Geet set near him -main help kar doon?

Maan-No ..I will do myself .thanks..

Geet looked at him with a frown.

Maan-it's ok Geet..I will manage.

Geet-OK..as you wish and gave the roll back to him.

Maan again tried to tie the bandage on his hand..but this time the cotton pad of the medicine which was kept on his palm slipped from it's place. Maan smiled nervously seeing Geet. Geet was still looking at him waiting him to ask for the help. one more time he tried but he knew that two hands are needed for dressing a wound. At last accepting his defeat Maan brought his hand in front of her and passed the bandage to Geet..Geet took the bandage and the cotton pad in her hand..put again some more medicine on it and kept it back on his palm.

She held his hand in her and shifted little near to him to tie the bandage. Maan's heart stopped to beat for a moment with her touch. Geet's eyes were on Maan's hand and Maan's eyes were on Geet's face. It was not the first time that he was feeling her touch but this time situation was different. He was feeling a right on her. His heart now had a right to beat fast on her touch though he could not show her. They had been tied in a relation now and his heart was empowering his mind. Maan's heart was forcing him to betray his mind..

Geet was very near to him..her hair were open and were moving due to the air of the fan. Maan was starring at her face and those moving locks were blocking his view on Geet's face.Finally not being able to hold himself he brought his left hand near her face to remove those locks to get a clear view of her beautiful face.They were irritating him. As he touched her locks..Geet looked at him and she was surprised to see him. Bandage slipped from her hands. He while looking in her eyes ,tucked her locks behind her ear and his fingers felt the soft skin there.Geet closed her eyes feeling his touch on her face..

After tucking her locks behind her ears he caressed her cheek with his thumb..

With this action of his Geet opened her eyes and looked back in to his eyes. She was sitting there unmoved with this unexpected act. Her heart stuck in her throat. She was looking in to his eyes like some hypnotized person. Maan leaned toward her face and Geet again closed her eyes with his proximity..Their faces were very closed. He brought his thumb near the corner of her lips.and he pulled her alittle towards himself . Their lips were just going to get touched with each other.

Boths breathes were mingling with each other and Maan heard Geet's moaning voice-Maan..But Maan did not stopped and this time he heard a loud voice of Geet-Maan..

And Maan came back in to his senses when Geet snapped her fingers in front of his eyes.-kahaan kho gaye aap?

He realized that he was imagining himself with geet..He was almost dead with that thought.

Geet-Maan dressing is done..keep it dry for some time so that it can heel up soon.

She put all the things in first aid box back and asked maan where to keep that and Maan told her to keep in drawer of the side table of the bed.Geet kept that back at it's place.. Maan was not able to think anything else other than whatever he imagined some moments ago.

Maan chided himself in his mind-Maan..keep your emotions under check..How can you think about Geet like this? She has come few minutes ago only in your room and you have already started to dream about her? Thank God it was your dream only..what if you would have been doing that in real? Shadi wale din hi talaak ho jata tumhara..and he smacked himself in his heart..I should have to be in limits But what I do now. Oh God it's way too difficult for me now..Earlier I was helpless as I thought that I lost her..and now it's much more difficult to have her near myself and that too without showing my love to her..Maan you are the biggest danger for yourself. Control yourself other wise you will be in a big trouble.

And he took a deep breathe and thanked his stars in his mind for not doing any stupidity in front of Geet.

Geet settled on the couch to sleep.
Maan-Good night Geet

Geet-Good night ..

And Maan turned his back towards geet as he knew that he was not going to sleep easily today.Today his biggest dream came true so he wanted to cherish it in his heart.

Geet was very much tired because of all the happening of the day.. She closed her eyes and wished good night to Yash too in her heart as it was her daily routine..in a moment sleep took her in it's embrace.

After his long unsuccessful trials to sleep Maan turned again towards Geet.His eyes fell on Geet. She was sleeping very soundly..His lips curved in to a smile seeing Geet sleeping peacefully..

He was feeling contended to think that Geet trusted him completely. She did not raise any doubt on his intention, though his intention too was very clear. Geet had a reason to doubt him but she did not.and seeing her sleeping so peacefully, one thing he could get that she trusted him for everything. She was not feeling herself unsafe with him.He looked at his bandaged hand and caressed the bandage which Geet tied on his palm. He was continuously starring at her face..It was very late but sleep was not near him..

Suddenly maan noticed that Geet started to change her sides very frequently while sleeping. He was surprised to see her like this..Was she feeling uneasy? No..She was sleeping very tight then why she was tuning so frequently.and suddenly then his eyes got wider and in one swift movement he was near her to hold her as she was ready to fall from the couch.(Geet had habit to roam around the bed while sleeping..and now the couch was very small for her) He stopped her from falling and made her again settled on the couch.

he looked here and there to make her safe. What if she again turns and fall from there? and then he picked up the rectangle center table which was kept in the room and put it along the length of the couch so that she could not fall again from the couch. After that he covered her with the spread. He moved again towards his bed but his eyes again fell on her face..She was feeling little uneasy as her hair locks were irritating her even in her sleep too.he could see a little frown on her face. Maan smiled to see her reacting like that and he tucked them behind her ears.Her frown disappeared from her face.

He set on the table and watched her for few seconds..and his mind gave the words to the feeling of his hearts-I LOVE YOU GEET.

Maan-(ST)I know I have a long way to go from here..but I will wait for you to be with me..I m in no hurry . I will wait for the day when you realize my love and accept me from your heart. This is most important for me that you are mine and this truth can't be changed now

He caressed her hair in a very feathery touch so that she was not disturbed in her sleep

.He wanted to place a kiss there but he did not and got up from there and laid in his bad and tried to sleep a little.

While starring at Geet's face his eyes too got closed and he slept too with a light smile on his face ...

It was morning..

Geet woke up and she said as usual-Good morning yash and her hands went in to the search of His photo but could not find it...and then she heard a voice-Good Morning Geet.and Geet startled with that voice and she hurriedly got up and set-kaun hai.?

She was not habitual to hear a good morning in the return at first place after yash died..She always talked to his photo .so was used to not getting a reply

And she looked around herself..It was not her room.Where was she? she looked here and there and then she recalled that She was in Maan's room and it was Maan who wished her good morning back only.

She got little embarrassed on her own reaction seeing Maan in front of her-I m sorry..wo I forgot that I was not in my room..so reacted like that..

Maan-it's ok Geet..I can understand..

Geet-Thanks..She tried to get down from the couch but could not..she saw that the center table was kept along the side of the couch.She looked at maan.

Maan-Wo ..actually at night you were falling from there so I kept it. to stop you from falling..I hope you don't mind.

Geet was again embarrassed thinking about her sleeping style.-kahin Maan ko pata to nahin chal gaya that I have a habit to move change the places at bed while sleeping..

she said -why I will mind?,,Thanks

and she took her clothes out from the bag and entered the bathroom. Maan went out from the room to give some space to Geet to get ready..

Geet came out of the washroom after having the bath and after getting ready she came down ..

She entered the kitchen.Meena(Suresh's wife) was already there.

Meena-Bhabhi maam has asked to make suji ka halwa in the breakfast.

Geet-theek hai ..to bana lo.

Meena-Bhabhi-Please aap bana lijiye na..I m not feeling well.and I feel to puck for the smell of the sweets.(She was pregnant)

Geet-Ok..I will do.. tum dsura kaam kar lo

And Geet cooked halwa for the breakfast. Meena cooked some other dishes Priya too came there.

Geet-good Morning maa.

Priya looked at her-Good morning Geet.and she missed something..

Geet-maa meena asked me to make halwa in the BF..aur kya banana hai?

Priya-Wo meena bana legi..you come with me.She brought Geet in to the hall.Maan too was there till then. Anie and Ram were present too.

Anie-Good morning bhabhi.

Priya-Anie Go and bring the box of sindoor from the temple. Anie went and was back in a minute with the vermillion box. Priya took that in her hand and called Maan near them.

Maan came and asked-kya hua maa?

Priya forwarded the box towards him and asked him to fill Geet's maang ..

Maan and Geet looked at Priya and priya said-Geet..now you are married and it's not good to leave your self without the symbols of marriage.tumhaari maang suni hai..I know that you don't have sindoor with you..kal se yaad rakhna. Theek hai?

And Geet nodded her head-Ji maa..I m sorry

Priya-It's ok Geet. Maan chalo Geet ki maang me sindoor laga do.

Maan looked at Geet .Get was standing there without looking at him.Priya signaled again Maan to do that and Maan took a pinch of sindoor from the box and filled Geet's partition. Geet;s eyes met with Maan and she again lowered her eyes.

Priya-anie go and put this box in their room.

Anie-Ji maa.

And she did the same.

Priya-Meena .bring the breakfast. And Meena set the BF table.All had their BF. After having the BF ..priya went in to her room and returned with some jewelry boxes. Geet looked at her with surprise.

Priya-Geet ..This is for you.

Geet-Kyun maa?

Priya's eyes were moist-Geet this is your shagun for your first cooking after your marriage and Geet's eyes were wide to hear that-But maa..I m not new here..aur main pahli baar nahin bana rhai hoon ye.

Priya-I know Geet..but you have one new relation here and that is with Maan..Tum ab Maan ki patni ho aur kal tumhaari shadi hui hai .this is your first cooking after your marriage. This is your right

Geet-Maa.lekin...

Priay -Geet..you don't know how lucky I m . I never dreamt of this day in my life. I never thought if I would be able to give your that shagun which you never got after your marriage with Yash. I was too much in guilt. Today I have got that chance to fulfill my wish. this is your right Geet.le lo ab isko beta.

Geet was not able to decide what to do.Ram came ahead and took the boxes from Priya's hand.

Ram-Geet..jab ek naya rishta juda hai iss ghar me to use related shagun to banta hai na..i know that you are our daughter but kal tum phir se iss ghar ki bahu bani ho..aur ghar ki nayi bahu ka haq hai iss shagun par.and he handed over those boxes to Geet.

Geet took those gifts and took the blessings from Ram and priya.

Priya hugged her tight being emotional.She was very happy .She was relieved that she was spared from committing a sin unknowingly. Gos had rectified her mistake without any harm.

After being free from BF..Maan was ready to leave for office.

Priya-Maan ..today you are not going to office. Geet has to shift her stuff to your room so you will make place for her to get settled.Theek hai. Anie help Geet to shift her stuff..

Anie -Ok maa...let's go bhabhi and Geet and anie left for Geet's room and Maan to his ..

Geet was packing her clothes and some personal things. She was feeling uneasy..It was her room where she shared everything with yash even after he left her..She never felt alone herself in that room. She always found yash around herself. Her eyes fell on Yash's photo.She picked it in her hand.She talked to yash in her mind-You saw Yash what happened with me ..everything changed in my life within a moment.sab kuchh badal gaya yash..mera aur maan ka rishta ..aur saath me mera aur aapka bhi...Kya ab mera haq nahin raha aap par.. today I m leaving this room and I know that you can't go in that room as my yash..you can enter there only as Maan's brother..But don't worry yash .you are and will always reside in my heart. Maan knows about my feelings for you..and he has promised me to remain my friend. I m still not able to accept this relation..I have always looked up at maan as a friend only. It's very tough for me to accept him as a husband.aapki tasweer saath me rahe na rahe but you will always be a part of my life..you have given me so much in that short span that I can't forget you..our relation will never change ..as me and Maan got married just for the sake of the family...Don't dare to think that I will forget you..I never will Yash I never will.

Anie came near Geet-Bhabhi..sab packing ho gayi hai..chaliye..and Geet kept that picture of yash in the closet and closed that. Her eyes were wet and Anie too was feeling very emotional at heart.

Before leaving the room Geet looked all around the room once again and left from there.

They reached to Maan's room. Maan was there. He asked Geet to settle her things in arpita's closet He never used that closet after Arpita left. it was empty since arpita and yash's clothes were donated in some orphanage.

Geet settled her things in cupboard...

After that both spent their time while doing work.Maan worked from home that day and Geet too talked to pinky and Rohit regarding the FH. Both were so happy for Geet and Maan.

Pinky-Geet ..I m so happy yaar..bas we all are waiting you to come to the office..

Geet-Hmm ..I will come tomorrow..

Sudha too talked to Geet to know if she was fine or not.. But Geet talked her very nicely..as she was not tensed about the relationship between maan and her. Maan had promised her to be his friend only so she was not scared now..She knew that something was changed in her life and she would have to accept it..and she accepted the marriage for the family and did not make an issue regarding the marriage.
