Part-46

Geet was ready to leave Handa mension to go to KM as a bride

Sudha did her vidaayi with all he rituals.She and Gautam blessed Both Maan and Geet from the bottom of their hearts.

After the vidaayi rituals Maanet touched the feet of Sudha and Gautam

Sudha-khush raho hamesha. Bhagwaan tumko wpo saari khushiyaan de jinke tum haqdaar ho.

Gautam hugged Maan tightly-Geet is your responsibility Maan.Take care of my daughter.

Maan nodded to ensure him

Rahul came towards Geet but Geet ignored him and turned to leave the house..Rahul smiled to see that .he knew that Geet was angry on him for blackmailing her and threatening her but he knew that he did that only for her happiness only.

Maan was surprised to see Geet behaving like that with Rahul and he looked a Rahul. but he assured him not to worry. He knew his sister well and could make her smile very easily...Maan and Geet settled in car. .Rahul Sudha and gautam were in another car and few trusted servants in another car with the stuff of shagun for the engagement.

Maan was driving the car and Geet was sitting silent. Maan was looking again and again at Geet but Geet was constantly starring outside of the window.

Maan-Geet are you ok?

But Geet didn't reply

Maan little loudly-Geett

And Geet looked at him-haan..kk kya hua?

Maan-Kuchh anhin..I was just confirming if you are Geet or someone else.

Geet-matlab?

Maan-I mean I m having a feeling like I m sitting with some stranger..

Geet-I m sorry..wo main.. I was thinking something.

Maan-Geet..it's very tough time for both of us as we both got ready for this marriage only for family.pahle maine haan ki Taiji ki wajah se ab tumne haan ki family ke pressure me aakar. We can not change what ever is done..Don't bother yourself Geet..You are not under any pressure to change yourself for me. As I said earlier..I don't want to lose you as my friend just because we are married now.So relax Geet. We both have taken this step for the sake of the family so we will have to live for them as a couple..except this nothing will change between us.Trust me Geet.

Geet was still looking at him. Trying to understand his words. As if she wanted to believe him.

Maan-Don't you trust me?

Geet-No

Maan-What?

Geet-.I ..I...I mean I trust you but what I do with myself? I m not able to make myself understand. I m not able to believe it that my life has taken a U turn just in one day..Infect I m not finding myself capable to move ahead suddenly leaving everything behaind ..I m sorry Maan..I m feeling bad for you..you are again tied in a relation where you are not going to get anything.

Maan-that you leave on me..let me decide about what I lost and what I got...and look at me..Do you think if I m looking hurt or worried for anything?

Geet shook her head.

Maan-So why are you so tensed..Geet ? jaise ab tak sab theek hua..I mean to say that taiji and suman got exposed. Just think if they were successful in their plan today what had have happened with all of us? Do you think that I would be happy with a girl like Suman.who was hell bent upon to ruin the happiness of our family even she did not leave Anie too. She was ready to destroy her happiness for her own selfishness. I know taiji was behind her but what about herself.. agar meri shadii ho jaati uske saath to aage chalkar na jaane kitne complications aate hamaari life me.So just forget whatever happened today..At least our family is safe now..This is a big thing for all of us.At least we both love our family and will do everything for their wellness only.. kal kya hoga wo kal sochenge. .

Geet-But Maan..I m not able to take it that our relation is changed..

Maan-No Geet..I don't think so? Agar hamaare beech kuchh badla hai to wo hai bas ek room..I mean from now onward we are going to lead our life in one room instead of two different rooms. wiase achchha hi hai ab hum jab chhahe tab ek dusre se apni baat share kar sakte hain.We can share whatever we want

Geet looked at him-Aap ko koi farak nahin padta?

Maan-nahin nahin .. farak padta hai..But I like to take events as they come..tell me Geet ..are you angry on all for forcing you for this marriage?

Geet-I m not angry Maan but hurt..It's not easy for me to switch over from one life to another overnight.

Maan-But you did not talk properly to Rahul while we were leaving

Geet-I m angry on him and he knows why I m angry on him

Maan-what did he do geet?

Geet-He literally blackmailed me..Al l were trying to making me agree but he directly said that he won't do this engagement if I didn't say yes..Koi aisa karta hai kya?

Maan was shocked to know the fact and he knew that the intension of Rahul was not wrong as he only was aware of his love for Geet-he blackmailed you and you agreed? You know it that he loves anie and won't do anything to hurt her.Then Why did you agree at his black mailing

Geet-what if he had done as he said..agar wo sach me mana kar deta to? And you know Anie too was with him in this blackmailing. Then all would say about me that I was selfish that's why I said yes..I did not want to be the reason of their separation .

Maan was so touched by her selflessness..She was such a pure hearted girl..How could taiji and suman not see this pure heart.?.she said yes for marriage only for other

They reached the KM..

Maan and Geet were going to enter the house but priya stopped them at the entrance itself and supriya brought the thali of Puja for their Grih Pravesh.

Priya welcomed them by all the rituals..she did the aarti by offering kumkum rice and flowers on their foreheads. She asked Geet to enter the house after pushing the small kalash of rice with her right foot and Geet did the same..Maaneet put their first step together in the house as a couple.

After entering the house both again took the blessing of elders.Geet though has shared his heart with Maan still she was feeling awkward in front of the elders.

Priya asked them to offer their prayers in the temple and after that she asked Anie to untie their dupattas.

Anie untied them ..Priya asked Geet to take Anie with her to get her ready..there was no time to take rest as it was a very busy long and hectic for all..Geet took Anie with her .

After few minutes handas to arrived and this time Priya and Ram welcomed them as the groom and the family...

Maan too welcomed them.Maan hugged rahul and Rahul aksed.-Is everything fine?

Maan-No..bahut gussa hai tumse..

Rahul-Achchha.??.Tum to mere saath ho na? I mean Geet ko manaane me help karo na meri

Maan-nahin..I m with my wife only..and he winked at him.. Rahul gave him an irritated smile-I will see you later.

Maan smiled -any time.

Geet was making Anie ready for nthe engagement. She was not talking to Anie ..In few minutes Anie was restless to see her like Geet-Bhabhi..please ..say something na

Geet did not say a word.

Anie-Bhabhi ..I know you are angry on me to support Rahul..but bhabhi we all wanted this only..that's why I said so..please maaf kar dijiye..

Geet-I m not angry on you Anie..but I m hurt.my life changed all of a sudden and I did not get even a chance to think..

Anie-bhabhi..you and bhaiya know eachther so well..to isme sochne waali kya baat thi.

Geet-Tum nahin samjhogi Anie..Me and maan are friends but this marriageThere is a big difference between friendship and marriage. It seems that I lost everything which was mine till this morning..it's all different anie. Any ways ..don't think about it now..jo ho gaya hai usko hum badal nahin sakte hain..I think you are ready now..Let's go

And she helped Anie to come down..There she made her sit near Rahul..ahe was not looking at anyone..All were little tensed to see her but they knew with the time she would be fine as whole family was with her.

And then the rituals for the engagement started..Anie and Rahul exchanged the rings..after that pandit ji asked the families to do the shagun..Sudha offered the clothes and jwellery to Anie and Ram dii the tilak of Rahul and gave some money to him as Shagun..after that it was turn of maan and Geet as the brother and SIL of the girl to do their parts of the shagun.Maan did the tilak of Rahul and Geet offered him the sweets but she was not looking at him..Rahul looked at Maan and Maan gave him a teasing smile.and Rahul raised his eyebrow as giving him challenge.

Rahul took that sweet in his mouth and asked Geet to talk to him but she ignored and Rahul suddenly started to cough badly .It seemed that sweet chocked his breath pipe.He was coughing loudely.Geet panicked to see him in that state .

she brought the glass of water and made him drink-How many time I said you not to talk while eating..but you never listen.and she patted his back..Rahul stopped to cough and gave her an innocent smile.Geet looked at him and understood that he fooled her, she turned to move from there but Rahul stopped her by holding her hand-Geet please..I m sorry Gudia but I did not have any other option..we all wanted you to say yes only and you were so rigid for not accepting that ..issiliye wo sab kiya.sorry yaar ..and he held her both ears and said if you want I m ready to do sit doing ups too.. if you say..He was still holding his ears.geet did not respond and Rahul started his sit ups..all were laughing to see him like that . Would be Groom was doing sit ups holding his ears. scene was really funny. Geet was looking at him from the corners of her eyes.Smile was forcing her to curve her lips.

Finally not being able to control it she held him-bas karo Rahul..

Rahul-First say that you forgave me.

Geet nodded -yes.. and she smiled and Rahul's mission to pacify Geet was accomplished . He hugged her tight in his arms-Thanks Geet..

Geet held him too-It's ok Rahul

Rahul winked at man and Maan gave him a thumps up

Gautam-aur to kisi se naraaz nahin hai na hamaari beti..usko bi kah dete hain sit ups karne ke liye..Even I m ready too

And Geet smiled -papa please leave it

And engagement was done in a happy atmosphere.

It was dinner time .All were having dinner. Rahul and anie were stealing glances to each other..once Rahul winked at her and Anie got red with hue.she at once looked around if any one saw them or not and was relieved to see that no one noticed

Maan was starring at Geet and was thinking-I made her understand that we are friends only but who is going to make my heart understand that she is not only my friend but my love too..Will I be able to be her friend only. what if I did something wrong with her? OH God I never thought it to be this much tough..Please God be with me and help me to cooperate her..rok lena mujhe agar main galti se bhi kuchh galat karne jaaoon to..Please..It's a request..ab sab aapke hi hath me hai

Geet was nibbling her food..she was showing everyone that she was normal but she was not.Even Maan too promised her that nothing was changed between them ..but the name of their relation was changed now.She was finding it very awkward even to think to share one room with Maan.She was thinking if she could stay in her own room..God please send someone to help her . . She needed one who could make the family understand to let her stay in her own room. She knew that it was not going to happen..

Dinner was over..In the name of guests there were only Ronit supriya Rohit and Pinky..all were ready to leave .Ronit and Supriya first took the leave. Maan Geet Anie and Rahul took their blessings..they both blessed all of them.Supriya was looking at Geet.she could understand what she was thinking. They left from there..

In the car Supriya asked ronit-Do you think that all that happened was right ..I mean sab kuchh itni jaldi me hua .Geet ko to time hi nahin mila kuchh bhi sochne ka.

Ronit-You don't need to worry supriya..their understanding clicked to me in seconds ..I know it happened in so much hurry but Maan and Geet both share a very good rapo with each other.. You were not there in office that day if you had seen them there you wouldn't have asked this question

Supriya-I hope Ronit you are right,,but at the end of the day I m very happy for them. they complement each other so perfectly.

Ronit smiled-Yes ...you are right..Chinta mat karo..All will be fine between them..Supriya too smiled in response.

Pinky and Rohit too took their leave and khuranas and handas thanked them to support maan and Geet.if they were not there taiji could not be exposed so cleverly..

Pinky - uncle aunty you don't need to thank. Anything for Geet or Maan sir. Geet never treated us like her staff. she always treats us as her friends..

Rohit-yes and friends keliye itna karna to banta hai na.. so please don't say thanks to us..we are feeling great that we could do something good to them..It's all our pleasure

Pinky-let's go Rohit..bye Geet see you tomorrow in the office..

Priya-No pinky ..she is not going to office tomorrow..this day is very long for all of us..so she will rest at home.She will come next day to office..so you both take care of the FH tomorrow

Rohit-It's ok aunty..We will handle that

And Both hugged Geet and took their leave.

Rahul gautam and Sudha too were ready to leave..Anie and Maan touched their feet.and rahul took the blessings from Ram and priya. Sudha caressed Anie with love-Priya ji ye hamaari amaanat hai aaj se aap ke paas .ek baar studies over ho jaayen to hum le jaayenge apni beti ko

Priya and ram smiled

Ram-Ji bilkul hum khayaal rakhenge aap ki amaanat ka.

Then sudha came near Geet and kissed on her face face with all love ..she could see the paleness on her face .She looked at Maan and Maan smiled to see her.They all left bidding bye...Rahul and Anie wished each other goodnight.

Maan left from there to his room he did not want Geet to feel that awkwardness in his presence.Geet helped servants to clear the place..she wanted to pass the time .She was waiting for priya to leave from there ..so that she could go to her own room.but priya was mother after all and more than that she was a woman.

Priya-Geet you may be tired ..so go and take rest..

Get-Ji maa she left to go to her room

Priya again said-Anie..Go with Geet and take her to Maan's room.

And Geet's face lost all the colors

Geet-maan can I sleep in my own room please..

Priya smiled -Geet..I know what you are feeling..but it's true too that you are married now..and you have to share your room with your husband only...Maan to dost hai na tumhara ? why are you so nervous? Don't worry sab theek ho jaayega..Go to your room now..Anie take her and she left from there so that Geet could not put her request again.priya knew that it was going to be tough for both of them but they both have to fight their conditions themselves.

Anie guided Geet to maan's room.they reached at the door.suddenly Anie's eyes filled with tears-I m sorry bhabhi..Did not know that my prank would come true like this..If I knew it that I would have not done that.I m really sorry. Geet was feeling bad for Anie-Anie don't cry..noone knows what is hidden in the future..and she wiped anie's tears.Anie too controlled herself and Knocked at maan's door-Bhaiya.bhabhi ko lekar aayi hoon.sambhaaliye apni wife ko.(To Geet) bhabhi aapke kuchh kapde maine bhaiya ke room me rakh diye hain..baki hum kal shift kar lenge.and she brought her in ..Maan saw them in room and he wore his t-shirt as he was in his vest..Anie wished them goodnight and left from there closing the door.Geet looked at the door when she heard the sound of shutting of the door.

Geet was standing near the door playing with the corner of her dupatta..Maan too was in dilehma what to do..It was not so easy for him too.It was way too difficult then he thought.Geet was looking at the floor only. Maan was short of the words and Geet was not ready to see up.

Maan looked at Geet she was still playing with the corner of her dupatta..

Finally Maan cleared his throat and said-Geet..you sleep in the bed..and I will sleep at the couch..

Geet looked at him and said-No you can't sleep in the couch..

Maan raised her eyebrow listening to her and Geet realized what she said-I mean you sleep in the bed and I will sleep at the couch.

Maan-arrey nahin Geet.. tum so jaao bed par .

Geet-maine kaha na nahiinn..She said in little sturn voice ..Maan looked at her again with confused eyes

Geet-I mean main..main chhoti hoon na to fit ho jaaungi iss couch me ..aap lambe ho .you won't feel comfortable there..

Maan-lekin Geet..

Geet-please ..it's a request.

Man-Are you sure ?

Geet-Hmm

Maan-Ok then..you dresses are in that bag. Anie has kept it here.

Geet nodded and opened the bag to take her dress to change for the night..Life has taken so many turns for her just in one day. She was hell tired after facing so much turmoil since morning..She was in dire need of sleep..

She took out her dress to change and went in to the bath room..After few minutes she came out of the bathroom and her eyes fell on Maan...
