Ruslaan Mumtaaz, the protagonist of 'Jee Le Zara', announced on Twitter that the show will get an extension. It was supposed to go off-air on April 24 but has got an extension and will continue for a few more episodes. Ruslaan tweeted, "Guys all your constant messages and tweets to Sony has really made an impact. We've got an extension."

When we spoke to him about it, he said, "It's not a long extension. We have been told that we have to shoot for 10 more episodes. We have been asked to keep our dates free and not take up any new projects for some time. There is still no clarity about a longer extension."

That means there is a chance for further extension...mein na bhulungi is in trouble so probably JLZ has a very good scope for further extension...let's keep our save JLZ rally open and hope for the best

Yesterday afternoon Shrishty tweeted thanking JLZians. Sneha the former Sony head retweeted it. I think there is hope...lets request for an extension atleast till August when the show was originally going to end.

Was the show ending in august or it was just actors' contract renewal and evaluation of the show time in august ? It was the time to decide who is staying on and if the show is moving on,isn't it ?

Ok I guess you are right. Many people keep saying Ruslaan was leaving in August so I assumed that the show was planned to end then. If there was no such plan then we must request them to atleast let the tracks planned be finished logically before ending the show.

To maintain the essence of the show the leads shouldn't be changed. If Ruslaan is able to continue then extension beyond august is fine. Nobody else can be DV. Otherwise it's better to end the show on a good note.

ohhh Ksh thnx fr sharing. Matlab there r chances fr further extension. Common we have to mk it.

Plz frnds if you r on Twitter; then do send your tweets to Sony TV regd the same. They r very much active there. Plus send d feedback form atlesst 10times a day.

This news brings a lot of hope. Thanks for sharing.

I agree, we must be relentless in our Save JLZ Campaign. I think we all make an excellent team. Whatever the outcome, i am very glad to have met all of you.

I am totally convinced that a show this good must not become a failure.
