Yes, Veera truly represents the young generation. I could very much connect myself with this character. In all the shows currently airing on Indian TV, I find Veera is the most realistic character written.
Why I am saying so, will put up in points -
- Veera is matured. She accepted the truth of her birth with a huge heart and open mind. Since her birth she saw one lady and considered her as her mother. Despite of facing the indifference, ignorance from her mother she never complained and questioned herself, thought to herself. But when she came to know the truth that she is actually an orphan and she is a step child to the woman whom she loves and respects as mother. She still loves Ratan as mother and do not to know about the lady who actually gave her birth and died. She dont even want to keep any relation with the family who belongs to her biological mother.
- She isn't narrow minded. She forgave and forget all the indifference she had from Ratan and put herself in Ratan's place. Accepted what she had from the lady who is her idol. She didn't questioned her fate, her father's dignity.
- this shows the maturity level she has in her young age. She accepts what her fate has given her. She loves and cares what she has. She has the maturity which Ratan lacked. Even today Ratan couldn't accept her with heart but Veera accepted everything with a huge heart. Jo bade na kar paye wo usne ek pal me kar dikhaya 👍🏼
- Veera is ambitious. She lived her dream to study in abroad. She knows her capabilities. She got a scholarship on her own merits. She value her intelligence. She wants to achieve her dreams.
- But her dreams are not selfish or self centered. She wanted to study further to earn better. To give all the happiness to her family. In her dreams she didn't forget what her brother and mother did for her. She just wanted to return something to them as a symbol of respect and love she has for her family.
- But her dreams didn't blind her. When she came to know that fulfilling her dreams is costing her family everything they have, she didn't give a second thought to her ambitions and returned to her people and helped them to get rid of loan.
- Veera is rooted to her base. She gave up on her dreams and returned to her village where she grew up as a girl. She dont hate the place though she have spent her grooming years in a city like Delhi. She isn't blinded by the urban life's style and glamour. She loves the simplicity of the pind life and values the same. She respects her elders in pind.
- Veera don't curse. She don't curse or crib the worse conditions around her. She didn't loose hope from her life. She gave up on her dream but she picked up their fathers dream. And giving her best to fulfill the same.
- Veera can't see her loved ones suffering because of anyone. She cant tolerate insults thrown by pind people, bansuri or anyone towards her mother & brother. She respects her brother's feelings but when she sees her brother is getting insulted and ill-treated for being genuine and nice. She can't tolerate it. She voice her opinions.
- Veera doesn't believe anything blindly. She dont accept anything just because someone is said so, she goes to the depth of matters, investigates, analyses the facts and draw conclusions which are logical and acceptable. She did sting operation with creepy director. She collected the proofs and punished the responsible. She has the guts to say and stood by her sayings.
- Veera respects elders but it doesn't stop her from saying the truth. She respects Balwant but that respect doesn't make her to endure any injustice imposed on her. When she saw her brother is compromising with his happiness for the sake of respect towards their father's friend. Though he is innocent and doing favor to an ungrateful girl. That respect for Balwant she has didn't stop her when she teaches a lesson to her brother's wife. She even wanted to disclose the facts to everyone but she kept a mum because of her unconditional respect for Ranvi.
- Veera knows to move on in life. She loved or I will say infatuated to Karan. Dreamed a life with him but when she saw the greedy side of him she dropped everything she had for him. She was heartbroken but didn't lost the hope. She didn't shaded tears for a guy who dont deserve it. She fixed her broken heart by engaging herself in productive things. She advised the same to her brother to soothe his pain.
Veera is real, practical, emotional, loving, caring, strong, witty, beautiful, cute, charming, independent, logical, ambitious and balanced. Till date this character has been written really good and I wish CVs will keep it the same.I know I have written a very big essay. But the connection I feel with this character made me write so much. Today's young generation is very much like Veera.P.S. I say positive about +ve things, I comment negative for -ve things... and I talk SARCASM for boring things 😈
