This show is based on history, but, Akbar never did this to Jodha... or even to any of his other wives or concubines. He held all his women in high esteem and gave lots of respect. This is an unreal MU scenario for me to accept. it is ridiculous.
But, Ekta and her team are known to melo-dramatize and present like this. This track is especially created for Jodha to realize her true feelings of love for Jalal and blurt out. It is also for both AkDha to realize that "trust" is the basis of a man-woman relationship - which both dont' have at this point.
Also, in one way, as the person above mentioned, she also has done a mistake of meeting a guy a few times without anyone's knowledge and not telling (or unable to tell) the truth. It can push any husband to limits even for 21st century standards... and we here are talking about an Emperor of the 16th century.

I completely agree with u ... also ekta has forgotten that this is our history , n itz fine to just dramatise the series but at the same time her serials r mainly women centric n she shud keep it a little realistic ... but this is the case Akbar - one of the great rulers in our history ... the main focus shud be on him & not on jodha ... here they r portraying Akbar as some clueless, brainless, heartless , dumbfolded emperor who is plainly dancing to the tune of Jodha n acc to history which is not true...
Yes, after jodha came Akbar became more tolerant towards other religion ... which is fair enuf , but it was completely not jodha who changed the face of mughal dynasty ... n in this serial ... Jodha is protrayed as a regular devi, mata , a sacrificial sacred women who can never ever do anything wrong ...unlike any other women centric serials showed nowadays n frankly speaking the storyline is tooo predictable ... jodha is portrayed unlike anyother 21st century women , who dosent follow any rules , keeps barging in diwan-e-khaas n lecturing akbar on how to take decisions by following his heart , 24/7 lecturing akbar on his day today decisions , no shyness , no respect towards her husband , she pushes him , abuses him etc etc ...
Tellme how the hell can I relate this 21st century jodha with the 16th century jodha , when infact this serial is based on 16th century ... dude , women were lot different in that era , n jodha being a fiery rajputi princess , she respected her husband though initially they took time to consummate their marraige ... n in this 21st century jodha their is no essence of that 16th century women's nature ... damn itz tooo exhausting n frustrating to watch the serial , but i am plainly watching it for rajat tokas's acting skills ... thatz it i am too irritated with jodha's character
