hamse puuchho kaisaa aalam hotaa hai

ghairon ko kab fursat hai dukh dene kii
jab hotaa hai koii ham-dam hotaa hai

zakhm to ham ne in aankhon se dekhe hain
logon se sunte hain marham hotaa hai

zahan kii shaakhon par ashaar aa jaate hain
jab terii yaadon kaa mausam hotaa hai
