Why does Krishna ride his own chariot

He had a charioteer Daruka so why

Its better to ride yourself rather than being dependent on another. And Krishna went where he was needed at all times. Guess its tough to find charioteer at odd times so he dismissed him lol

philosophically the lord is the ultimate charioteer of the soul so who has the power to manage his carriage?
