im amazed at alia's massive transformation- cant believe she is the same girl who didn't impress me in soty- she was topnotch in highway and looks equally promising here

arjun is decent as well

but the show stealer is undoubtedly amrita singh! whattay actor #respect!

Revathi and Amrita all the way !! The best of the best..still have it..

And oh Alia the accent when she talks Tamil. Yeah, if you are playing a girl from Chennai not going to cut it especially if it is about differences in two states.

^ Maybe they should have dubbed the Tamil parts. Alia sounds so bad. 😆 Do you say Kudi for drink it in Tamil?We say that in Kannada.

Absolutely should have been dubbed, Alia sounds so bad. She has just mugged up the lines and is repeating it, accent matter so much in playing a character in this type of movie and hers is terrible 😆Yes, we say Kudi in tamil for drink..

Revathi is a Malayali who grew up in Chennai, this is a scene from Mouna Raagam a film by ManiRathnam very early in her career. The actor is Mohan who is originally from Bangalore. Both not Tamilians by birth, but this is the kind of accent I expect in a movie like 2 states when it is about a girl who is from Chennai. 😉. Mohan's voice is dubbed.

I don't expect her tamil lines to be lots, but should have been dubbed.
