I don't think Raghav changed overnight. He was always angry like Kalpi, but he was still a good person. He constantly helped Kalpana and her family. He did not need to hire her when she was a waitress. He was angry when he heard she was a waitress, that showed caring about a person, even if it was not romantic at the time. She was deemed to fail her exams, he did not have to hire her. He saved the chawl. etc.
Raghav has been through a lot, his Father was killed by the Kapoors, Kamla told him to not let the world beat him down, he took it out of context by being hardened and angry. However, he was always a good person. Kalpi is only thinking about this from her perspective, how unfortunate she is. What about Raghav and growing up without parents. Doesn't she realise he has no family? Money/status is not everything. I rather have my parents and family over money any day.
If Kalpi is paying attention she would realise Raghav was nice to her since childhood, when he helped her with her Math and gave her that pen. However, he has issues too. Kalpi has issues too, she just started smiling when she got the job. Kalpi walked around sad and angry all the time before, even though we understood why.
Same compassion we have for Kalpi because she is poor and her Mother shows more favour to Paakhi, we should have compassion for Raghav who only grew up with money, losing his parents, his Father in such a terrible way. His Father lost his life for the same money. So, money does not mean your are privilege.
They are more alike than different. Kalpi would be the one who changed overnight to Raghav at least to the older Raghav. She found him rude and overbearing and angry about everything.
Raghav never found fault in Kalpi, he only acted the way he did to pretend to be tough and protect his heart from the world. he was saying one thing but he surely was doing a lot of things for her and her family.
Look how easily he fell for Kalpi? The toughness is only a facade. His heart is soft soft.
Raghav is the same person at heart, the only difference is he sees Kalpi as a life partner now, and he is saying sweet nothings to her now.😆 Love made him express himself more nicely now, but his heart is the same good heart.
