Karthik agreed to marry the girl his parents like,that to for their compeltion ,he is not that interested in this wedding.now,karthik,karthik's parents,Vishnu and lakshmi (karthik's friends and co workers) or on their way to kovilpatti ,karthik's dad (kumar) drives the car,they start their journey at 8:00am.---engagement.

In car

Karthik s face shows that he is not interested in this arrangement,but he has no other choice, from the start of the journey till now he dint speak a word,and keeps staring through the window.

Vishnu: yenna machan,un varangala wife yepdi irrupanga nu aaluntha yosanaila irrukiya.

Karthik stares Vishnu.

Karthik smiles.

Vishnu: paaru lakshmi,mappulaiye sirikiran,ippa thanda unnaku mappila kalaiye vanthiruku.

Karthik: naanum nee vaaya muduvean nu pakuraen,chumma pesikite pora,yetho lakshmi unna love panrale nu summa vidraen.

k-mom(amutha): yennapa Vishnu,veetla unga love pathi sollitingala?.

Vishnu: yen veetla clearu ma,lakshmi amma than innum yosika time vennum nu keturukanga.

Lakshmi: ama aunty,mosta avunga othukuvanga,Vishnu parents kita nerla pesurean nu sonnanga.

Vishnu: iyya..jolly,apa karthik raji kalyanam aparam namma kalyanam than lakshmi.

Lakshmi smiles and says fraudu.

Vishnu: I love you to lakshmi.

Both smiles.

Karthik: yen kalyanam ok,athu yaaru raji??.

Karthi's parents ,Vishnu and lakshmi all laugh out loud.karthik confused why they are laughing at him.

Karthik: yaarunu thane kettaen,athuku yen ippadi sirikiringa..

k-dad: dei karthik,raji thanda unnaku pathuruka ponnu.

Karthik embarrassed : ohh apdiya.

Karthik's parents (amutha and kumar) glance at each other and are happy that his son is listening to their wish.

At kovilpatti - in a house given by raji's dad for karthik's family to stay in.

Raji's dad leaves .karthik and Vishnu keeps their baggage inside the house and are really tired.

Karthik: seri ma.

Lakshmi: yenna kovil aunty??.

k-mom: Shenbagavalli-Poovananathar kovil,intha oorlaye famous ana amman kovil,athan polam nu pakuraen.

Lakshmi: kandipa polam aunty,nalaiku thane poonu parthu nichaiyum panna porom,athu nalabadiya nadakurathuku,samy kita vendikalam.

Amutha pats lakshmi on her shoulders and leaves smiling.

at temple

karthik's parents Vishnu and lakshmi go inside the temple ,karthik drops and leaves to park the car.

While crossing the crowded main road,a girl in red colour saree,guiding old man suddenly crosses the road,karthik put sudden break to stop the car from hitting the girl,which shook the girl ,she dropped her archanai thattu and looks blank at the driver of the car.karthik gets down from the car angrily and checks whether he made any accident and found that the girl and the old man were absolutely fine.

Girl: paathu vandi oota matinga?

Karthik: naa correcta than vanthaen,nee than naduvula vanthutu.

Girl: red signal potruku,atha paakama neenga vanthutu yengala thappu solringala.

Karthik realizes the mistake and excuses himself.the girl excuses him and guides the blind old man along the other side of the road and that old man blesses her and leaves. Karthik was amused by the girls helping nature.karthik parks the car and leaves to the temple.

Vishnu: yenda,oru car ahh park panna ivvalo nerama?.

Karthik: athu illada,oru chinna accident.

Vishnu: aiyayo,yennachu?.

Karthik: roada cross panraenu oru ponnu kuruka punthuta,sudden break potu vandiya stop pannitaen.

Karthik closes his eyes and tries to pray,but he couldn't his memory is filled with that girls presence and her innocent pure face.he opens his eyes and that same girl is in front of him praying the lord.karthik could not believe his eyes he rubs his eyes and sees the girl has disappeared.he looks around for any traces of that girl but he couldn't so he moves in search of her leaving his friends and parents in the praying area. He finds her going out of the temple, follows her,he is impressed by her simple but elegant look,she gets an auto and leaves the site.karthik turns and sees Vishnu and lakshmi their staring at him.

Karthik: yenna da samy kumbitingala?.

Vishnu: nee yenga theedirunu alaye kaanum?.

Karthik: athellam onnum illaye lakshmi,chumma kovil ahh suthi pakka vanthean.

Lakshmi: seri vaa karthik kelambalam,amma unna kutitu vara sonnanga.

Lakshmi leaves forward.

Vishnu : dei unmaiya sollu da,inga yenna pannitu irunthaene.

Karthik: athan sonneanla koil ahh suthi pathutu irunthaen.

Vishnu: kovil ahh than suthi pathiya?,illa oru ponna suthi pathutu irunthiya.

Karthik thiru thiru nu mulikiran.

Karthik: ohh pathutiya?,athu onnum illa da antha ponnu than road ahh cross panna,naa sudden break potaenu,naa kuda sonnaen la ava kita kova padalanu.

Vishnu: ohh katha ippadi pogutha?,dei nalaiku unnaku nichaiyathartham niyabagam iruku la?.

Karthik: naa ippa yenna sollitaen nu ippadi kekura,yetho pathaen avalothan.

Vishnu: seri da nambitom,va polam.

Karthik and vishnu leaves to see karthik's parents.

k-mom: yengada poita?

Karthik: inga thama irunthaen.

k-dad: seri da,nalla samy kombitiya?.

Karthik: ahh kombitaen ma.

Vishnu mindvoice "ivan yaara kombitanu yennaku thane theriyum,nee nadathu da karthik".

k-mom: yennaku rombha santhoshma irruku da,nalaiku unnaku oru puthu life kana first step ,athuvum intha vyshayathula,nee yenga pecha kekurathu rombha nimadhiyavum santhoshamavum irruku.

Vishnu,lakshmi and k-dad give a concerning happy smile,but karthik looks a little disappointed but smiles fake for his parents to be happy.all leave to the farm house and have dinner and left to sleep.
