EMA is a good and different show but it has strong competitors like SNS and D3. Oldies prefer SNS whereas D3 is popular among youth. Another reason for low TRP is lack of promotion... Last time when I went home I realized that my mom n aunties r not even aware of it's existence.

i agree with you, this is my fav show with unique concept and fablous actors. i dont understand how come YHM on top 10.its disgusting.

I believe its competitors..!! the main cause of low trps.. :( :(

I am surprised that EMA is not as popular as I would expect it to be due to following:

• it has universal theme that appeals to all - u can be born poor but if you are hardworking and honest, you can reach any heights
• you do not need to be constrained by the circumstances of your birth
• love has no socio-economic barriers

EMA has so much potential, the main problem is the time-slot and then the lack of promotion

I agree with you. Really oldies prefer watching saas-bahu sagas like sns, I really find it disappointing when my mom scolds me to change the channel to staplus because she's gonna watch sns, Then I told her that Im gonna watch EMA! She was just crying! 😆 That she's gonna miss her show! Not offence, But sns is literally an overrated serial.

It was 1.3 last week so there has been slight increase. Time slot, different concept and presentation, lack of promotion by channel and tough competition from rival channel are some of the reasons for low TRP.
