Jeevika's POV
It Was Sunday Morning, The Day Before Holi. I Woke Up Lazily To Find Manvi Sleeping Next To Me. This Girl Had A Fight With Virat, And She Decided To Sleep With Me Last Night As She Also Had A Little Argument With Kunal Uncle (Manvi's Dad).
Just As I Got Down From The Bed, I Found My Cell Phone Ringing. It Flashed The Caller Id - 'Viren Sir'.
J - "Hello?" I Replied Receiving The Call.
V - "Ms. Jeevika, Uh...Actually, It's Holi Tomorrow, I Mean Today...But You See Tomorrow We All Play With Colors And All, So Maa Just Instructed Me To Invite You For The Party...All The Colleagues Would Be Coming In Also! So Meet You Tomorrow At 8!"
J - "Okay Sir! Thank You!" I Smiled As I Hung Up The Phone.
It Had Been Six Months Since I Had Started Working For The Vadhera's Firm. Working With Viren Sir Had Helped Me With Experience Plus With some Good And Better Knowledge About Everything Related To Law, And Fighting A Case!! Also, I Had Grown A Good Friend With Him, And Also Just Like Any Other Family Member Of The Vadhera's. Right From Dada Ji To Shlok Had Been So Good With Me. Well, On The Lohri Celebration I Had Also Found Out That Virat Was None Other Than Viren Sir's Younger Brother.
Viren Sir Would Often Come To Pickup Virat Whenever He Got Late At Nights Studying Here With Manvi. Well It Was Something Not Expected By Me, But Then I Didn't Pay Attention.
Just As I Entered The Kitchen After Having Shower And Getting Ready, I Heard My Doorbell Ring. Opening The Door I Found Viren Sir & Virat Leaning On The Railings. Turning Towards Me Both Greeted Me.
V - "Good Morning"
Vi - "Good Morning Di...Kya Manvi Hain?"
J - "Come On In...Yeah Manvi's Asleep Still." I Gestured Them To Settle On The Couch. "Wanna Share Some Coffee?"
V - "Sure" Viren Sir Replied Taking The Magzine In His Hands.
Vi - "Me Too!"
"Me Three Di Please?" Manvi Said Entering The Hall Area.
J - "Good Morning Little Shaitaan!" I Edged Towards Her To Check her Temperature. She Had Fever Last Night. Hopefully She Was Fine. "Go Get Freshened Up First! Going Home Or..."
M - "Not Interested..I Should Be Fine Here!" She Left For Her Shower.
J - "But Manvi..." I Tried Stopping Her. Shaking My Head Negatively I Entered Kitchen To Prepare Coffee For The 4 Of Us.
Entering The Hall I Found The Virat Manvi Having A Fight And Viren Sir Watching Them Silently. Placing The Tray I Settled Down, And Passed On The Coffee To Everyone.
V - "Virat, I'll Come In To Pick You Up In the Evening!! And Jeevika Manvi, You Two Get Ready For The 'Holi Dehen' Tonight..."
J - "We'll Sir...But You Just Called Say Half - An - Hour Ago...You Would've Informed Me That Very Time, Needn't Come Here All The Way..."
V - "Uhh..Maa Actualy Told Me When I And Virat Were Leaving For Your House. And Anyways, I Didn't Really Came To Invite You, You See...Just Wanted To Have The Jeevika Special Coffee..." He Said Smirking.
J - "Huh?" I Was Confused. What Did He Just Say? And Why In The World This Two Devils Are Giggling? What's Up With This All? I Continued "Anyways, You Two; Go Get Started With Your Account II You Have The Paper On Tuesday..."
V - "I'll Leave Now..." He Said Getting Up.
Vi - "Okay Bye Bhai..." Virat Replied As He Placed The Mug Down On The Table. "Manvi Let's Sit In Jeevika Bh...I Mean Jeevika Di's Study..." The Two Left making Me Super Confused This Time...What In The World Are These People Cooking Into There Brains??
I Dropped Viren Sir Outside The Courtyard, And Then Entered The House To Clean The Coffee Mugs. Entering The Study I Found These To Studying Sincerely. Leaving Them I Decided To Watch TV For Sometime.
It Was Evening When I Heard Here Doorbell. I Found Herself Sleeping On The Couch With The TV On. Glancing At The Huge Clock On The Pillar I Found It Was 6. I Rushed To The Door To Find Viren Standing There.
V - "You Aren't Ready Yet?" He Inquired As He Entered The House.
J - "Just Give Me Five Minutes I Should Be Ready! You Settle Down, I'll Call Virat And Manvi.." Just As I Turned I Found The Two Heading Out. "Manvi, Go Get Ready, And Inform Aunty!"
M - "Di You Very Well Know Right? I'm Not Going! I Have My Clothes Here, I Don't Need To Go In That House!"
J - "Manvi! It's Enough! You Had Stayed On Whole Day Away From Them Now! What's This Stubbornness For Ha? Just Because Kunal Uncle Scolded You? Manvi, Are You A 5 Year Kid That I'll Have To Explain You Small Things...?" By The Time I Spoke Walking Upto Manvi I Stood Across Her.
M - "But Di He Scolded Me So Bad!! And Mom Didn't Even Say Anything..."
J - "Whatever It Is Manvi! They Are Your Parents Baby! You Need To Understand Them! Just The Way They Try Understanding You? Remember Who Was The One To Support You When You Decided To Do This Part Time Job? Did He Or Aunty Forced You To Do So? No Right? It Was Your Decision, plus Then Due To Your Heavy College Schedules You Decided To Let It Go For Sometime Did They Say Anything To You?" Manvi Nodded Negatively With Some Tears Her Eyes. "So, When You Weren't Studying they Just Thought Of Reminding You...There Ain't Your Fault Nor There's! Understand? Now Go Apologize Uncle Aunty. Get Ready And Come Out Soon!" She Hugged Me And Whispered A Sorry In My Ears, And Left.
I Turned To Find Virat And Viren Smiling At Me.
J - "You Guys Wait, I'll Go get Ready And Come Back." I Said As I Left To Get Ready.
It Was Huge Fun At The Vadhera Mansion. Singing And Dancing Around The Pyre. Knowing The Importance Of Holi From Dada Ji. I Missed My Days With Mom Dad & Di And My Would-Be-Jiju. Just As I Thought This My Phone Ringing. Getting A Side I Received The Call.
"Very Bad Of You Jeevika! You Didn't Even Inform Me That You Shifted From Mumbai To Chandigarh Forever! Every Since That Dreadful Day You Never Thought of Informing Me? Left me Alone In This City? Have Any Idea How Much I Miss All Of You? Well Mom Dad And Jiya Can Never Get Back But You?" He Sobbed Softly Speaking This. Making Me Breakdown Along With Him. Just As I Spoke "I'm Sorry" And Continued To Sob I Sensed A Tap On My Shoulder. Turning Around I Found Viren Sir Standing There. Wiping My Tears I Continued To Talk To Listen To The Person.
"Jeevika, I'm Coming There To Live With You! I Don't Need Your Permissions I Hope! Make Some Room For Me in Your House! Send Me The Address. I Shall Reach There By Morning!"
J - "Okay, I'm Out Right Now, As Soon As I Reach Home I'll Make Sure I'll Clear Some Room For You! And I'll Text You The Address. See you Soon...And Sorry Again!" I Said As A Lone Tear Escaped My Eyes. How Badly I'd Been Missing My Past? And Everyone!!
"Love You Sweetie, And Don't Cry Anymore I'm Coming!"
"Missed You Sooo Much" I Sobbed "Come Soon! Love You Too...And Have A Safe Journey" I Ended The Call Smiling Through The Stream Of Tears. And I Saw Viren Sir Going Away A Little Upset. I Don't Really Know What Happened To Him. He Joined Virat And Manvi. I Headed Towards Them. I Had To Rush back Home! He Was Coming Here! I Finally Had Someone From My Past!! I Really Thought He Would've Come- Up Till Now, But He Hadn't. He Needed Someone Just Like I Needed Someone Too!!
J - "Manvi, I'll Leave Now Okay? There's Someone Coming In Tomorrow. Need To Clear Some Space For Him In My House. Viren Sir Virat, I'll Come Tomorrow Morning! And Introduce Someone Special! Take Care! Good Night!" Just As I Turned. Viren Sir Stopped Me.
V - "It's Late, I'll Drop You & Manvi Home. Manvi Are You..?"
M - "Yes. I'm Coming!" She Smiled.
Viren Sir Dropped Us At Our Homes. I Went In To Make The Arrangements, While Manvi Went To Her House.
