I do not like SaBra story at all due to many reasons...
First of all, it is being told at the cost of Ansh story. Sanchi is eating the screen space of Ansh , I wanted to see the progression of Anandi after marriage both on personal and professional front but since Sanchi came in the picture, story is more or less revolving around her and Ansh are reduced to supporting roles. I am still interested to know the story of Anandi who was Balika Vadhu once and is now married to her soulmate , who is not only moving forward in life herself but trying to change life of persons around her for better, who has the will to fight against age old repressive customs and any injustice prevailed in society.
I have not minded if Sanchi's story was told for a reasonable time period but it is getting stretched like rubber and as things are moving in the show it does not look going to end anytime soon.

Secondly I am not convinced by the handling of various issues related to Sanchi's date rape. It was a sensitive issue but the way Cvs handled the court case, it reduces the hope for getting justice for such victim unless they have lawyers like Vivek Kabra who can give testimony against their clients. Cvs should have shown that case against the rapists can be won by giving crucial evidences and logical arguments instead of depending on the honesty of defense lawyer .
And though I too like the fighting spirit of Sanchi but in my opinion Cvs failed to show emotional trauma of victim even after winning the case . And every victim does not have similar means and unwavering support of family to stand up again as Sanchi has, it diluted the hardships of such victims.
Cvs have shown mother Kabra using the ugly trick to malign Sanchi by making her identity public which is totally against the law.It is now their duty to show her punished severely for her crime, if they will save her through ViKa it will be mockery of law and will give wrong ideas to peeps.

Thirdly I feel that actors playing Sa and Vi are not up to the mark as far as acting is concerned. Though Roop was improved in scenes just after the drag rape but now she is failed to bring out the emotional instability of such victims.
Kabra, in my opinion failed to show any emotions Y/day while confronting his mother even after getting strong dialogues thus wasted the opportunity to connect with viewers. No offence to any fan base.

I will feel indebted to him only if he marries Sa quickly and settles in abroad with her sparing me from another Saas-bahu saga.

Agree. @Anshurg. But for a few, handling of issues has never been very convincing in BV lately.
I guess the director is scared to show an honest hardcore portrayal of social issues and their probable practical solutions for reasons best known to him, he is under pressure to adopt a populist approach, be it any topic rape, re-marriage, adoption or social service. As mentioned by others, for me too story is most important, be it JaGan,Ansh or SaBra.

For AnSh, post-marriage but for their romance, there was nothing much to talk about. We could see only half cooked stories with respect to their professional careers and even the adoption track has left much to be desired. Sanchi track was introduced even when Ansh had enough potential with them. And lately, Ansh tracks have been non-existent. And now, they have been reduced to playing a caretaker role for Sanchi, why can't the director show their life and personal struggles alongside Sanchi track.? My take is that the director is not clear about what next to show on Anandi solo track.

SaBra story had potential, but I agree it is being rushed like a few other tracks and of course good actors make the scenes more impactful.

JaGan and BH to a certain is gripping because of some good acting by Jagya, Ganga, Ratan Singh and also because of a consistent smashing character called Dadisa. The way Dadisa united the village and fought for the college cause was very good.

@bold - Agree. While BV is better than other serials in terms of story - it has developed this problem of not giving realistic portrayal of a problem and practical solution. Populist and patriarchal approach is there in its tracks. They do not research for their tracks and perhaps do not have a broad outline of their story - the tracks come and go on their own. It is like a mysterious land - nobody knows what will pop up at next step. They don't even have a proper timeline.

There is nothing which is stopping BV writers from taking up prejudices in urban social milieu. The way they tackled all these in gripping tracks in Jaitsar is very commendable.
Urban social prejudices are much more dangerous as they are cloaked in very thick veneer of hypocrisy. With Anandi moving on to Udaipur, thought they would pursue these..It would have been really hard hitting to expose this kind of hypocisy - Did they not show women gossiping abt Anandi 's status during her muh dikyai and Ira silently listening even the recent issue which they are showing is watered down? Cannot fathom the reason...worst part - was hoping that through stringent punishment to mama kabra -BV would drive home the point - but, no, mahaanata attacked Saanchi will ensure that she is let off from jail

I don't watch any shows other than BV but once in a while I catch a few clippings of other shows in the same channel or it's rival channel.Story wise the content wise BV is still better than most of the shows that air.But now the way things are being handled is very sloppy.
The makers when they raise issues they should make it a point to sticking close to reality as far as showing this issues is concerned. That is what their duty is.To hold the mirror for us so that we as society can see what we look like .This part the makers of BV get it right most of the times. They show how these incidents affect the community, individuals and relationships quite well.
But when it comes to talking about solutions they have often resort to showing filmy situations.
Ganga wanted to stand on her own two feet and bring up her son to be a better man than her father could ever be.They ruined it by putting too much focus on her love story.
Now Sanchi who has been shown to be stubborn and insisting on having her own way was never ever shown to wanting to get out of the protective umbrella of her family was quite content to get married after finishing her education now after this unfortunate incident she learnt a few lessons and now knows the value of her family and wants to stand on her own two feet Anandi and Shiv are bent on marrying her off.
When a thing like rape happens a girl does feel like getting away and start anew life somewhere else which is natural.Getting away from this environment will heal her.But no they want to see her get married to the brother of the rapist. The said brother may be a paragon of virtue but how does that help situation???
I think the makers should be content in raising the issues and forget about offering solutions which are filmy most of the time.

Agree tellygeek, I too felt lately CVs are starting tracks and then winding up those without giving proper realistic endings. Be it bridge collapse-inquiry , husbands of basti women plotting against Anandi, Aashimma-Mahi, introduction of Anoop , this rape court case and many others .What stops them doing that is a mystery.Earlier Sanchi's treatment track was too shoddy ,the way doctor prescribed medicines without any conversation neither any family member even occasionally accompanied her for her supposed counselling sessions was too illogical. This rape victim identity exposure by opposite party is a serious issue, it should be handled properly in accordance with law. But Cvs have already started taking their creative liberty, virtuous Kabra knows that her mother is the culprit but has not informed police and perhaps will expect from Shekhars that they will not file case against her. Is it possible in real life I dont know but in BV for drama sake and making Sa further mahan they will let mother Cobra go unpunished. They are making Sa too matured in very less time, remember too much of sweet create diabetics. On the top of it, both Sa and ViKa deliver every dialogue with straight face and same emotions.
As for Ansh track, they are not only very much in love couple but an honest IAS officer and a social activist too, who always dreamt of changing old regressive practices of society. There can be no dearth of issues for them. Anandi's aim of life was never to be an ideal bahu only and now when she has a supportive partner like Shiv ,why CVs are confining her only in finding solutions of her new sasra's problems? It will only send wrong signals to the general public who is main follower of the show that a lady should always think of her in-laws first and put her aspirations on the back seat. She has leadership qualities and fearless nature along with a compassionate heart , why not that side of her can be explored simultaneously with her caring one? Even when this Avanti track was started in Bhaili, it was suddenly concluded without giving glimpses of what Anandi has further done to solve that ghar-ghar ka issue.
Main problem is that now a days focus is only on Sa and leads story is revolving around her.😡 Bhaili too was shown after ages only to assist in her redemption.

I would not have minded Sa if it her track was only a part of Ansh story , not the other way round.

on the topic @ TM, Vivek is just another version of Shyam and Shiv and sadly not at all as effective as the both...IMO🤢

Trust me, I was a ViSa shipper...I thot, a positive Sa cannot be worse than negative Sa to watch...and that was becoz I truly believed that once Sa becomes positive, they wont focus much around her, since the spice or whatever it was is gone...but since quite sometime now, its all about her..her trauma, her redemption, her career, her marriage, her settling down, her facing issues, her problems...Sa all the way🥳🤢🤢
there are two things to watching a show and enjoying the characters - one the strength of the track and other the strength of performances...
- A strong track and strong performances - Ansh story till their HM
- a strong track and weak performances (not attributable to performance as much as the exection was damn damn weak by behind the team)- Sa rape track
- a weak track and strong performances - Saja-Jagan story before marriage
- a weak track and weak performances - the current storyline - what is special about the track - Sa is practically shaped up as Anandi and Ganga's mixture and Vi as Shiv and J and Shyam...whats there to relish in terms of the track?? and the performances...OMG dont even get me started on how the 'new' leads Visa are terrible in holding attention and screen presence👎🏼 I guess it doesnt matter to the CVs or the channel...as long as it triggers discussions for them - maybe their logic is that atleast there are views however, polarizing they may be😕
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
and even if Vivek is the best character ever (I totally dont agree), if CVs could butcher characters like A, S and Ganga...whats to stop them from butchering Vivek too..🤢
signing off as a frustrated viewer..all of the above JMO!

Sanchi Vakil Kabra love story of the century is now looking more and more like Anandi Shiv story even the scenes have been recycled.

It just doesn't work because Sanchi Kabra are NOT Anandi and Shiv.Hope the CREATIVE HEAD OF RANGEELA realises this.
