Looks like Anu Malik has spent all his idle time ?(as he hardly composes music these days) in studying Simon Cowell's behaviour in American Idol and X factor.
What else can explain his sudden change of behaviour. Atleast Simon seems genuine in his comments, But Anu... he was clearly aping Simon. It looks totally unreal.
Regarding the contestants:
Richa was fabulous. She really deserves a big round of applause. She did what very few have been able to do till today: Singing both classical and light music with great ease. Its so tough to believe that she's 16. It takes a lot of courage to come and sing in front such established musicians.
BTW why did the girl from Assam not get selected? Clearly Anu affected Uditji's opinion. And why was the cxamera constantly panning up and down on her dress. Were they trying to say that her dressing sense was her undoing? If so it's in real bad taste.
The concept of reality show works bcoz ordinary ppl like you and me, who may be shy, not look that attractive or wear ordinary dresses; have an opportunity to make it big. If a person is not seleted on the basis of their dressing, its not a good precedent.
I alos like the guy who sang the song from Kalyug. I think his name is sri... something. Lets see how he gets around in the nxt round.
I was really waiting to hear the orange shirt guys sing teri diwani completely. But alas they did not show it.
The hilarious bits were ok. But none yet to match the All time favourite: the Guy who sang Aashiq banaya aapne last year.
BTW, Wats with that weird Alisha fan. I felt he was actually being hired by Sony to put up a show.
The real star for me today was the editor, who managed to put in a lot of good bits at a good pace, the villain was Anu malik who was trying his best to be rude, but someone needs to tell him that if at all he is coming across something by this behaviour; its not rude but Desperate.
