A different end...

Alia and Parineeti will be part of the finale of KWK, but not the only thing that is different this season

Koffee With Karan is in its fourth season. And there have been a few staples every season but this show has been somewhat different this time. For one, Salman Khan and Akshay Kumar came on the show for the first time. Also, the pairs have been more film-related than fun-related " like Farhan and Vidya (Shaadi Ke Side-Effects) Anushka Sharma and Anurag Kashyup (Bombay Velvet) Ranveer Singh and Arjun Kapoor (Gunday) and Aditya Roy Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor (Aashiqui 2). What else is different this year? Read on to find out...

Newbies: For the first time two newcomers (well, almost) will be on the couch for the grand finale. Usually the finale episode has a big star cast, like the first episode of the season. Alia has come earlier on the show this season with Varun Dhawan and Sidharth Malhotra. For Parineeti, it's a first. It's an interesting combination this time for the grand finale of KWK. Parineeti and Alia are competitors. While Alia is Karan Johar's protege, Parineeti is Aditya Chopra's find. It will be fun to watch both these young, spunky and talented actresses pitted against each other on the show.

No SRK: It's confirmed! For the first time ever, Koffee With Karan this year won't feature Shah Rukh Khan. He is almost the brand ambassador of the show but this season he hasn't made an appearance. He is busy shooting the climax of his next film Happy New Year.
lEvery concluding season has had some sort of an awards ceremony. But this year the host has done away with that. Manish Malhotra and Malaika Arora Khan have judged the guests on the show, in the past.

I am sure SRK could've found the time to shoot an episode since November, when the episodes started being shot...something must be seriously wrong between him and KJo 😕

Yes and Salman, Akshay, and some other new ones rocked on KWK!!

The thing thst sucked was the lad chap and those epis were a bore!!

wow so srk isn't coming on this seasons KWK, maybe there is a problem between the two of them. Even during the whole award season the two of them hardly interacted.

I hope everything is ok between the two of them

I'm soo happy SRK is taking some serious decisions about his career, for the past few years he has been over EXPOSED on shows, dump movies for friends and all, his talent was being wasted.

His best work as an actor was during the 90s, and for the last 10 years the only movies he did quality work was Devdas, Chak De India and Swades, the rest were just nonsense.

His dump movies may have done well at boxoffice but as an actor he didn't do much and i believe his soo called friends made career out of him but he as an actor was not advancing and therefore some talented directors with whom he did great quality work were pushed back because of his so called close friends.

And his die hard fans like me for the past 20 years were very disappointed with his choice of movies and directors.

So this news makes me happy that he's taking the step and looking after his career from now on and not wasting his talent and time for these friends. Now the only movie i've to bear is HNY and after that hopefully he will work with talented directors who he deserves to work with.

Sorry for being harsh, i used to love him soo much but because of these close friends he became arrogant and now i feel he's being himself...

They can keep saying everything is cool but I'm not buying it.. SRk and Kjo's friendship is in danger and I think it has to do with his closeness to the other two Khans. And of course his new found love for Biru 😆

This season wasnt great anyway...mostly because the new lot of actors have no personality. I miss Priety.

About SRK and KJo, I hope their friendship is intact. But really the only reason I care it is intact is because KJo is one of the very few people who could bring SRK and Kajol together on screen as I miss my favorite on screen jodi .😳.
