I Have A Weird Question 😆

WHAT IF Panchali Was Only Arjuna's Wife (Wishfull Thinking) n For Some Reason If Arjuna Had To Play The Dice Game Then Do You Think Arjun Would Have Done The Same What Yudhishtir Did?

If We Keep Both The Brothers (Arjuna n Yudhishtir) Nature n Character In Mind Then We Can Say Arjuna Would Have Done Something Totaly Different But WHAT?

In That Case Do You Think Draupadi/Panchali Would Have Been Safe?

In Star Bharat The Bastaharaan Was Pre-Planned Do You Think Somehow Arjuna Would Stoped It IF Panchali Was ONLY His Wife?

Arjuna would've definitely been smarter than Yudhishtir, and would've definitely REJECTED the invitation for the dice game because Kshatriya dharma in such a situation would not have mattered to him so much as it matters to Yudhishthir.
And IF (this is a big IF) Arjuna had indeed accepted the dice game invitation, IF (highly improbable, but IF he did, again, a big IF) he had actually staked her, and IF the Draupadi vastraharan had indeed happened despite Arjuna being Panchali's ONLY hubby, then you can be rest assured that Bhima would've actually burnt Arjuna's hands for staking her, and he would've certainly disowned Arjuna over the fact that Panchali could not be protected.

WHY have you started EACH word with a capital letter???😕 It makes it so difficult to read.
But I did try...this once. I think you are trying to say...what if only Arjun was Draupadi's husband and if so, would he have bet her in a gambling game? In starbharat? YES!😆 Drama you see.

In "actuality"...probably! Women in that era were possessions...albeit given a better sounding name and marriages in royalty were alliances first and foremost...not about love.

Part in bold - What about Draupadi's connection to Krishna (sakhi-sakha)? According to you, wouldn't THAT matter to Arjuna at all?

I mean, this is Parth we're talking about...he would NEVER do anything to hurt his Madhav. And if Arjuna did something deplorable on his own accord that Panchali would get humiliated so badly - he would automatically incur Madhav's wrath in the worst possible manner.

And I believe that if Yudi had staked and lost Drau BEFORE everybody else, Arjuna would've done EVERYTHING possible to PREVENT the vastraharan from taking place - and I believe he would've been successful in saving Panchali's honour as well.

agar aisa hota to dice game hi nahi hota kyunki dice game mei raja ko bulate hai n yeh sab bhai the, inki wife ek thi isiliye aisa ho paaya, arjun kabhi raja nahi bana to usko bulaya hi nahi jaata (special invitation) n agar bulate bhi to bhi arjun dice nahi khelta coz dice uski weakness nahi thi par yuddhishthir ki wo bilkul ek hi weakness thi, arjun dharma sankat mei nahi aata thande dimaag se vichar karke kuch aur option nikalta par agar wo sirf arjun ki wife rehti to vastraharan nahi hota

If Pacnhali was married only to Arjun, the war would not have happened. In this scenario, Panchali would not have been that relevant anyway, as she is not the empress.

Now would they have invited Arjun for the dice name? Probably not. What do they gain by inviting Arjun for the dice game? He does not have a kingdom to offer. They would have invited only Yudhistir, the emperor, for the dice game.
For whatever reason, If they had invited Arjuna for the dice game, I think he would still have accepted it based on Kshatriya dharma (to the best of my knowledge, a Kshatriya cannot back off from this situation) But he probably would not have staked Panchali. In any case, Panchali just being Arjun's wife is not that interesting for the other side. Even if he had staked Panchali, they do not gain anything by dragging her to the court etc.. The other brothers being free would have started a war, but again complete destruction would not have been possible just by insulting Arjun's wife.

Everything in Mahabharat was destined to happen.

If Draupadi would have been only Arjuna's wife, then the vastra haran would never have happened because she would not have been the queen of Indraprastha. She would have had lesser importance like Subhadra, and most probably remained back at Indraprastha while her husband went to Hastinapur for the dice game.
Draupadi was staked only because she was the Queen of Indraprastha and the pride of the Pandavas. Her disrobing was meant to humiliate the Pandavas, but if she'd have been only Arjuna's wife, she wouldn't have been an important character to the epic or the Kauravas.

Hi Arpita

Welcome to MB forum

If Draupadi was only Arjun's wife, kuch bhi hungama nahin hota. MB wouldn't have been the story as we know it. She would have been one of many wives Arjun had and even if he had played the dice game, no one would have asked him to stake one of his four wives.
