wwhats with the toilet humour shwn in korean dramas ??? i mean y do they show so much toilet scenes ?? do viewers really enjoy watching leads etc caught up in embarrassing situations ??

I think toilet humor is supposed to be funny to men (for male audiences). As a girl I feel rather embarrassed/ sometimes uncomfortable at it but I guess boys laugh it off.

K-Dramas are known for showing such scenes. i hate it sometimes i wish they would tone it down but if it is a ROM_COM then except a lot of such scenes.
In K- DRAMAS comedy is mostly provided by such scenes or the usage of an annoying character who serves no purpose except for comedy.

i know in every industry they make use of such scene but in K drama it is more used then other shows.

exactly !!! its so disgusting to see such scenes. very diff to understand how men find it funny !!!

the other irritating thing in kdrama is people hitting each other in office!!! hw is dat tolerated or acceptable !!!!

i think this is where the difference in local settings can be seen..where indian dramas have the typical pallu-pulling and 5 minute eye lock, kdramas utilizes toilet humor in their shows, which in terms of respective audiences, seem to work..
