snape friend or foe

hi i m in usa

here the wait for the 7th book is immense like evey where and every one is having the same question in mind whether snape is friend or foe as the book stores have also published the same question to make the readers more aroused for th ebook i m thinking if we can disscuss this here in the forum whether snape is a friend or a foe.

I have seen link where it has already been discussed by lets start with some valid point to prove why a friend or foe.

I am not really comfortable calling him friend even though he helped harry on many occasions but it was projected as if he saved so that DD continue to have trust in him...now with DD gone and if he really want to move to good side then he may help Harry to get rid of LV....but we all know how much he despise Harry. But here is what JRK has to say

JKR mentioned before that, DD is dead. an' that is a good hint for all of ujr to guess that he is a foe an' as daisyUSA(dunno ur name) said, he saved harry only 'coz of DD's trust
