I love the titles you select..."Rishton ke rang"..sounds so beautiful. Very thoughtful as always Faiqa. Your detailed and interwowen explanations about rangoli was very nice. Also you remind us of the deceit of the Gupta women and the unjust mistrust in Arnav. In a way they have all wronged the Raizadas. I think if babuji was able to speak he would have wanted to tell the truth. Marked my favourite parts in blue.

Also I think in your comment to Indi di you write more about Khushi walking away and Arnav following her trying to keep the relation intact. I loved that comment of yours. Khushi was so used to putting a happy face for others. Living her life for others. And with Arnav was where she could belong. She need not be responsible this time. But he would come after her. He was willing to take care of her and keep her close. She needed this certainty.

Thnx dear , underlined , she's been doing this since from the beginning and paying the price of being an orphan.With Arnav is the RIGHT thing, pride and honor two things were always intact with her and when he disowned her by the road by nailing her down with her cheapness which was not true as he has trust issues...she takes oath right there and the moment he melts by cupping her face...why you didn't need to tell me ...like he is giving her the RIGHT ,...She tells him..if u think so cheap of me ..there is no need to justify...silence is the answer...SHE JUST NEED SMALL LOVE AND ATTN and she is all yours...

ASR's breakdown after anjali's accident, Arshad Khan said couple of times this one being one of his most favorites. To one's delight, one can almost feel the director's pride and pleasure in etching the fine nuances of this of this reclusive character in these few seconds...

As his sister lay in bed all bruised, he stands there distantly.. his head hung in defeat, guilt... almost reminding one of that famous "I failed you" 9/11 confession from Richard Clarke ...he couldn't protect one woman that meant the world to him. Today the very reason for a 14 year old discombobulated boy to transform into a resolute man overnight is in front of him after being dangerously whiskers close to death. He wouldn't utter a word.. he wouldn't even come into her vicinity...an absolutely realistic regress of an introvert.. something matters to him very deep.. so deep that he is scared even to whisk the surface. A lion hurt.. tamed...a sob held muted inside.. lest perhaps it would have come out akin to a newborn's first cry after being separated from the umbilical cord to sustain independently..

She calls him gently.. he breaks down in her lap apologizing for all the times he has been insolent with her.. her presence is all that matters ... he could care less for all his ideologies and ego. A fine line that is hard to walk , to exude emotional richness without being over dramatic.. portrayed realistically by two artists with great chemistry.. IPK had done it many a times.. subtlety in rawness.. this is yet another!

Profound and heart breaking Horizon 💔.. very well written.. When Anjali lay in hospital after losing her child everyone crowded around her but Arnav held back. I felt it then too .. the caring too much.. it being his responsibility always to protect her.. It was so clear to him today that he would tell her the truth however bad it was, till fate put him in this spot and he realized his ideals meant nothing in front of his di.

It feels good when the director understood the character so well. In fact it is because the creators understood him this way that we get to write pages and pages about him in each of his different avtaars. This is a typical track that is perhaps shown in many other movies/shows but the way these scenes were enacted, the conviction that the actor brought out and the smart handling by the director and everyone involved made it utterly believable. I think it was Barun who said in an interview that he needs to understand the emotions in that moment otherwise how will the audience identify with it. The music, lighting everything accented the tragedy that befell the jilted lover, defeated brother tonight.

Rishton ke Rang...[Colors of relations] Perfect title 👏

A beautiful Memory...This pattern took me years back where my aunt used to stich a family patchwork quilt with all of the kids names on it with embroidery .A symbol of Family and we all [cousins..5 of us] always share it while she used to tell us story...and feeding us peanuts and raisins in winter...and today that's what I saw in this epi...Relations , family ,etc

Beautiful memory.My Grand ma still does make those kinds of quilt and chatapati gharars...patchwork on cholis...She is expert in those.Like this touch here.

"Agar Haath chod diya tou Rangoli Kharab ho jayegi"[ Rangoli will be disturbed if I left your hand ] These words left a mark on me for these reasons...

1-Look at the set pattern of Rangoli which is made up of basically different shades of red [Arnav's color] and Green and golden [ Khushi's color] mingle together with Earth colors As these two are mingle together with other set relations around them.Rangoli represents peace and harmony in relationships.Khushi runs alone over the earth colors without setting the pattern , which indicates she will leave Arnav without disturbing the colors of relationships

Really nice observation , She does that ...and she is the one who always keep the relations impt and when Arnav asks her later, " lets live separate " to teach her say NO to others how difficult was it for her to do so.

4-Now her saying if I leave the hand then colors will be disturbed,She is saying it but Arnav will grasp the meaning of it deeply after developing the deep relation with Guptas.Later when Khushi wants to refuse to go back RM, He reminds her lets see how her parents will react and she begs him not to do so and comes back with him...till then he knows if he will let her go his whole life will shattered without her ...

I missed this , how true is that , she is saying it but he is the one who will follow it.His leaning is deep here.I loved this scene so much and his thoughts to wake her up from her delusional slumber.

Loved this shot and your description , He had no idea while following this unknown path of revenge and hate that he is actually crossing every avenue with her.He has no clue how will she survive after this contract and is so deeply submerged with her presence in his empty life and no doubt this track is going to cross his minds with other avenues.

Darkness and confusion is indeed waiting for sunlight in his life and the lives of others.He will be Damadji for the whole town to be blessed all the time.

Life lesson which Khushi wants him to learn , I agreed with you that this naive girl has to learn by herself too.She needs to learn a lot about him too and she will just like he will .An eye opening moment for them .

Aurora Borealis, the Northern Lights

North -West...[Mind Vs Heart]

This epi is all about ticking time and directions .Khushi's dialogue "aap ka ghar uttar mein hai aur humara paschim mein, aur agar dishaon ke hisaab se sona padhe na, toh aap ko bahaar peid ke neeche kabootaron ke saath sona padhega" ...[ if we see acc to the directions then your home is in the north and mine is in the West and for that reason you have to sleep under the tree with pigeons]...took me to the edge...as Arnav's mind is joining the leagues of heart in the pursuit of his inner happiness and peace and that starts with his Khushi and ends with her in all directions and he has to cross this river to meet her the other side.Just like the day in Mandir he bonded her with him but still was walking on the other side of the bank of the river but they both were walking in the same direction.

This dialogue has everything what this whole IPK is all about and linked to the future.This epi is a continuation of showing Arnav's thinning patience which is directing towards his eruption yet his silence is a testing limits for Khushi whose attempts to make him blurt the truth are going in vain.

Darkness has prevailed and both are cutting through this since the dreadful night Where Khushi's conscious was/is clear as even in the darkness she is finding her way out because of her trust on Arnav but Arnav dashes against objects as he has blurred thoughts and trust which he got the dreadful night and since then he is stumbling in his path.

PONDERING CONNECTED DOTS: On Dilli Ma Bali night, He stumbles over the table and she doesn't and that night his anger and ego was at the peak seeing Shyam lusting over his Khushi. The way GH ladies and neighbors dealt it off with a smile and with a proper reason was adorable and that sure made Arnav even more guilty than he already was. He did offer to help - to be refused by Khushi.

Pause here:Today His heart has stumbled upon the love and care of family and the others when neighbors accepted him the guest and as a respectable SIL ...Same time when Buaji asks him , can she fan him until sleep prevails...This is new direction and angle of LOVE, Concern ,and attention for him from which he is very much unaware of for a long time...

The most beautiful moment, ARHI bed time together. Khushi comes by huffing, puffing and mumbling at Arnav ..."Jaisi karni waise Bharni " [AS u sow so shall u reap] She gets halted in her track with one "REKHA" a Barrier made by Arnav in between them.Dil and Dimag kind a separation.My grabber is after " Maaf kiya main bhi issi side peh sota hoon" [sorry but I sleep on the same side] he did claim unintentionally he is on her side...Love this dialogue. The fight of left and right side of the bed, the actual fight between truth and lies - the fight between right and wrong.This is what is happening. They fought for the side of the bed - and Arnav takes on Khushi's side - while she takes the other side. He puts the 'Arnav rekha' - a line that he creates to separate both of them regardless of what they feel. He did this by forcing her into marriage and this dividing line just kept strengthening with more misunderstandings.MY GRABBER IS his inquisitive look "kahan ja rahi ho"[where r u going?] losing the battle because of her accepting her Pati parmeshwar's Rekha. In Biblical context, the right side is considered to be a side of high importance. So, while Arnav chooses love (Khushi), Khushi herself chooses to be on his right, the place of highest regard in Arnav's life !

Pause here : Khushi's Jaisi karni waise Bharni "..is indicating whatever she is doing to irritate Arnav , it will be heavy for her in return..she will pay heavy price...Always remember Arnav has been at his calmest when he is about to go deadly .. He was calm when he began the Faraq Padtha hai , torturing her emotionally and Psychologically, he was calm when he laid that condition for marriage , He was calm before throwing her out !! A calm Arnav is a dangerous Arnav !!

Symbolism and connection: But Khushi looses some gems , Uthar - Pashchim and Kabootar ...[North, West and Pigeons]... "aap ka ghar uttar mein hai aur humara paschim mein, aur agar dishaon ke hisaab se sona padhe na, toh aap ko bahaar peid ke neeche kabootaron ke saath sona padhega" and That took me to this...

[Aurora Borealis ,The Northern Lights are actually the result of collisions between gas particles[Air] in the Earth's atmosphere with charged particles released from the sun's atmosphere. Variations in color depends on the colliding particles . The most common aurora color, a pale yellowish-green with some pink, is produced by oxygen [Air] Particles located about 60 miles above the earth. Rare, all-red , purple, Blue auroras are produced up to 200 miles above the Earth's atmosphere. Because of Nitrogen but again it is very Rare... ]

This is a pure comparison of Arnav [North] and Khushi[West] and above 60 miles above the Earth's surface[ 6+0= 6...6 months contract] and 200 by adding all is equal to 2 means sexual tension and desire.

North directs in your Body towards Brain and West directs towards heart.All connected to Arnav and Khushi..Brain Vs Heart.[Dil & Dimag]

PONDERING THINKABLE DOTS:Arnav fixed the Krishna/Paarth Diya on Janmashtami in the darkness...away from Truth that day too and Khushi's plan led him there... and Khushi's "Jaisi Karni.." back firing things as always...and by joining these two points we things in a different perspective at this point... We have the short sighted and impulsive Khushi...The West ,who will be unleashing a tornado,...[ getting signature on Lease papers] While Arnav, the North will be the one who will be letting loose this destruction by signing those papers in rage and away from truth ...AS There is no light in the North...the sun or the moon...couldn't direct any ray of light into the north and that's why The North has not had the benefit of light meaning away from Truths .. Arnav will lash out in blind ignorance not knowing that there is such a thing as truth for he is convinced of the darkness residing in him [ Chup gaya hai ...], in Khushi and in shyam and will sign those papers which will drag him into deep darkness yet Khushi will be making him free from the Blindfold.

Now another thing...Why say .."Your HOME is in the North instead of u stay in the North "..Because Here, the "key" is Home.. another angle is that it is directing towards RM...Family which includes SHYAM too...Anjali's Husband ..it means the house in Uthar was not just for Arnav , it also for Shyam too as he will be making the Duplicate Key to [1] to finish the Arnav to get the wealth [2] to smooth his ways more towards Anjali in Arnav's absence to make her DARK from his LOVE ..to reach Khushi.He is Evil North of Darkness but as I mentioned above Arnav is the one who lit the Diya and he is the person who will be fighting against his own kin to uphold the values of truth, Arnav will be the Krishna who will enter the battlefield to tear apart the darkness, he will be the protective shield to everyone as a just man... SO The House in North stood for Shyam but North by itself stood for Arnav and Khushi is West His Heart.

Arnav is a man who will be the provider for Guptas as well as Raizads [Anjali's word...tumhain yeh rishte nibhane hongey]... and he does rule over both now...Not bothering to ask the Guptas before ordering AC ..deciding what's best in that situation .. A trademark of Arnav as is of North.

Khushi, who holds the grail of Young and youth Life ...she will be destroying three lives if she will not hold it properly... but remember, still water becomes stagnant and toxic , instead of giving life it has tendency to kill life which is sought to be protected and nurtured ..SO the water has to move, cleanse itself from all accumulated dirt which is thrown out in the way...[That's why we have so much water in this Track since from the beginning]

[The more I go in depth of IPK the more I get joy and thrill..This is IPK which stands for me regardless of what is out there.]

"aur agar dishaon ke hisaab se sona padhe na, toh aap ko bahaar peid ke neeche kabootaron ke saath sona padhega"[If things had gone ur way then , You would be sleeping with the Pigeons.]..Pigeons are considered as a symbol of Pure Love , serenity , home and loving relationship ..because Pigeons usually bond until death ..But the marriage of Khushi & Arnav violates that but remember...Pigeons have a strong homing sense, take them anywhere or release them anywhere , they make their way back to home ... Arnav has been brought into a new place but like a Pigeon he will be finding his way back to his Khushi, to purity and the truth.The darkness which prevailed on them under the Fire of that night will be put off by Water which symbolizes moon ,Khushi and her pure Love.

The bedroom scene ... Khushi's movement over and on the bed , toeing the line of separation made by him... always coming on to his side , shows that the line has been crossed ,the acceptance has begun unconsciously and the division will disappear and Khushi will be the one who will push him to the edge (Arnav almost on the edge of the bed) - and then finish off this line of control and then be together with him.

Symbolism and connection: AS PINK is associated with Pure Love , innocence and sensuality.Their pink net is covering BOTH as the HATE is growing out of this budding LOVE and don't forget Khushi Brought Arnav's small budding Plant with her which needs WATER[Khushi] and SUN Arnav] to grow...

Arnav wakes up cleaning his sweat and realizes the close proximity of Khushi .He gets irritated and turns to make her sweat with his heated temper but gets puddled by the bewitched beauty into her squeaky side .He melts at her gesture holding him with her fist and that makes him more vulnerable to keep his hold on her by holding her fist with his palm so gently. His hand which had enclosed around Khushi's fist , slowly encircles it in a gentle clasp ..quietly watching her breathing ..the world at a stand still to wish and hope for this moment to be for forever that one action showing his yearning for her, his helplessness , his lack of control... Beautiful scene.. He loves her, lost himself in her but before the realization could touch her, he withdrew himself from her but my grabber is does not close his eyes to his feelings and her goodness yet very far off .

He takes his hands off but let her have this right to cast with open eyes but she removes her hand by correcting her Duppatta.An awkward moment...

PONDERING CONNECTED DOTS: This melting touch will be "aadat"[habit] of him

The jogging and the akhada scene is brilliantly shot scene. Loved it for some connections.Arnav begins to jog when he is halted by Body builders who try to beguile him into working out with them , Arnav effuses but challenged by Khushi who had in her mind to make him late for bath. This was the only reason and her main intention behind challenging Arnav .

And what does Arnav Singh Raizada do!??? He takes up on the challenge without thinking twice , that is what he is about .As one man says, "Yeh toh manjhe hue khiladi hai , yeh toh sabkuch kar sakte hain"[He is an experienced player and can do anything.]...He knows his strengths and knows how to play with them . He did exactly that and showed a shocked Khushi who he actually is and what he actually can do.Calm Arnav is the most dangerous one.When Arnav Singh Raizada plays , he plays to win and nothing else. He can do anything to get what he wants and what he wants to be done.He was turned on by her innocence this morning yet she was not aware of it but he is awakening her desires for him to see his effect on her as always which shows him his dominance over her.

He comes out to take the glass of water from Khushi and hands her the 'weight lifting object' .. which she cannot lift obviously. I would relate it to the actual burden on Arnav's shoulder[Khushi and Shyam's affair] ...in his mind and in his heart and without yelling or screaming in anger or pain. If only Khushi knew the extent of his pain, hurt and agony that is stuffed somewhere down his heart and carrying it everyday without letting anyone know. .And same with hhim, if he could se the real reason of her extra smile and childish acts which are eating her alive day by day, If only they could see through each other.

Pause here: Arnav pours clean water on his head, cleansing and puring himself of these burden as this is one of the Baptism process.

Bubbly and Payal's scene really shows how this North head young lady 'Aap meri bhabhi ho, mummy nahin" - like Arnav takes the charge.. This orphaned girl, deep inside, longs for a family of her own. A mother, father... She makes a face at first on seeing the doll, but after Payal leaves the room, she looks at it thoughtfully, there's a bit of longing in her eyes too. For someone to see the child she is. Yes, she keeps saying "mai chotti bacchi nahin hoon" but that again is the reverse talk. It's just a cover for her insecurity .Payal, being the caring, kind, and loving person will help this girl feel that she does have a place in the family.They become friends later.

I found this an extremely difficult episode to start writing about. How do you start when you have an aversion to what it shown? For one thing if this is about TRP then what was the TRP bringing thing? That Arnav was wet and shirtless or that Khushi was teaching him a lesson? If it was about drooling on Arnav I can come up with fifteen different scenarios right now. While she irritates him he pulls her inside and we get a rabba ve. Cliche sure yet way more enjoyable right? I can feel your frustration. I was also annoyed to the hell. That time the cvs became bonkers or moron, or became the scapegoat of the channel, they just couldn't decide what to show; whetehr make Khushi a buffoon or make Barun bare. It was completely nonsense for sure.

"Aap Indraji se kahiye". "thik hai tum phone karo main baat karta hun." He is stuck in a bathroom with barely room to stand. haha, ASR's bathroom is worse I guess. Face covered with soap, no water, unhelpful infuriating wife and yet ready to solve the problem. How is Khushi resisting this man? here we girls almost fainted to see the sexy man, where his wife is nonchalant. Amma and buaji at least show some panic at parading damadji outside in this state. Really if it was this normal as roz ek kabhi kabhi do baar why don't I see any grown men bathing outside? Won't even go into that debate. Once his vision clears you can see Arnav aghast and I cannot get myself to listen to any of Khushi's side's excuses for doing this to her husband. When she is about to mention her pati owns AR.. He immediately stops her and you realize how important this man his. His family, the writers, the main culprit. his wife everyone takes him for granted. But he is after all a top businessman with a reputation to uphold. It is not Vimla mausi's fault that given a chance she would eagerly wipe off the extra soap from behind Barun's ear but today I grit my teeth and wish she minded her own business for this once. Arnav is squirming, uncomfortable and angry. He walks away with "baat mat karo..I don't want to talk to you." I feel that too.

You know what really makes me mad is that he was really not okay with this and still Khushi felt not one bit of remorse. So she wants to show him this extreme middle class side of things but this is not really common anymore.I guess, this was not middle class, but low class thing. I see in so many documetaries that children from third world countries take open bath like this. Lets say he says he likes his girl in western short dresses. Everyone in his society wears them and forces his wife to wear it for him saying there is nothing wrong in it. Whom would we side with in that case? She was the wife of this business tycoon but never once did he ask her to change for him. Instead when she tried to on their dinner date he claimed she was the coolest person he knew and should do what feels right to her. And here Khushi is shown putting him in this very awkward position which he feels so uncomfortable about. Am very very bothered by these 5 minutes. Apologies if I sounded too preachy, strict .. can't help my self today..
Khushi actually wanted to take the revenge to call her low class. But this was certainly not the revenge, but insult of her husband publicly.

Lingering frustration, unvented anger..Barun got the right expression while murderously looking at his laptop and phone running out of battery. Notice he still keeps the problem to himself. what to do? poor man became the hostage of his inexorable wife.Am going to ignore Khushi for some more time though her Arnavji has quietened down listening to her voice. He decided to take matters into his own hands regarding lunch today. "Paanch Hajaar"! in a really cute accent by Amma. How normal to not want to take money from the damadji... Buaji and aunty try to scrounge money to pay the bill. Has me in tears seeing their desperation over something in a way quite trivial. It is a good detail that Khushi gave the money she earned to her family. But that does not mean I am in talking terms with her yet. She has seen the bill and again misunderstands Arnavji's intentions.

Already my mood is off and then we get snakewa plotting. No one suspecting his evil intentions. Maybe I shouldn't be writing at all. Skip it, eat some jilebis while dancing to Hindi music and go to the next episode, exactly how our heroine would have reacted. No am not going to think about her even.

He sees the food and immediately takes out his wallet. It was always his idea that he would pay. This time both the ladies don't seem as upset as about the AC. Buaji rushes to switch on the cooler but not before Arnav tries to stop her. Yes he is no longer that overly nervous new damadji. This is the man we know and admire so much. When he quickly says "ji buaji" and the two ladies smile in relief exhaling the breath they were holding, it feels so good. Very nice acting.

He was considerate after all. Ordered keeping in mind everyone. So now his wife decides to be touched and a little tearful. Maybe I can think of forgiving her after all. He brought you teekha italian khana and look what you did to him? Feel the guilt girl.. hmm anyone else want to know what the man ordered for himself? aww how sweet, we would be better wife than Khushi,😉 what say, Rhea. The atmosphere has changed in the Gupta household. No longer the chaos. A calm descends as everyone gets used to the new food and the fact that their damadji is not as scary as their daughter had portrayed or he himself portrays. When bitwa explains "Aunty isse aise khate hai" am in tears. I like to believe am not that easily moved by a mere television show but somehow I am really touched. How simply he asks "aapko khana achaha laga?" . I think we are gettign glimpses of how he would have been with his mother .. uncomplicated ,down to earth, eager to please and involve. Like Khushi even I wait with abated breath to hear the verdict. The ladies are always ready to please the damadji so how can they not like the food. I am remembering the scene where later the two will try to read a cookbook and make pasta for their favourite bitwa. But today it didn't really matter if the taste was to their liking on or not. He does it in his definitely unorthodox way but the gesture itself has the purest of intentions and no disrespect.
this scene really touched me. Your description was beautiful. In GH, we could see different spectrum of ASR.

No today I won't get to leave happy. Mohan comes and calls sir outside. Nice direction that he doesn't speak of this in front of sir's new family. This is the last straw. His what the almost begging to be completed today! This time sir goes inside and asks madam to come out. If I was Khushi and saw that scary glint in Arnavji's eyes I would walk out quietly. Again its good to see he did not want to create a scene in front of her family. Drags her in anger his control completely lost. This is not a moment to be cute. Arnav clenches his jaws, turns her head around to show what is the real problem. The music is trying to make it funny and Sanaya tries the sanka act but I am shaking my head. Is she blind to the grimace, the eye roll, the body language which exudes the effort Arnav is having to exert to remain in control! This is serious. What it is leading up to is way serious.

He thinks it is so ridiculous that he blames his wife for it. And she takes umbrage at his insinuation. He has said much worse and more hurting things and Khushi has dealt with it much more gracefully and forcefully. Oh how I lament the loss of that girl I knew... He keeps bringing the morning incident into his arguments. We know that her callous behaviour has disturbed him, hurt him. In a way that is what is triggering this outburst. I hate them fighting this way. They have done it before but somehow this fight seems way more public. Am feeling awful seeing her walk away and him giving up, leaning that way on his white SUV, looking around slightly lost .

I can feel your frustration Rhea. it was really frustrating to see Khushi bring Arnav outside to give a public bath. And again Arnav screamed at Khushi publicly was not so right i guess. I don't know why cvs couldn't be consistent with the characters, specially they spoiled Khushi's character a lot. In this incoherent episode, the lunch scene was definitely cute and sensible.

A beautiful Memory...This pattern took me years back where my aunt used to stich a family patchwork quilt with all of the kids names on it with embroidery .A symbol of Family and we all [cousins..5 of us] always share it while she used to tell us story...and feeding us peanuts and raisins in winter...and today that's what I saw in this epi...Relations , family ,etc

"Agar Haath chod diya tou Rangoli Kharab ho jayegi"[ Rangoli will be disturbed if I left your hand ] These words left a mark on me for these reasons...

1-Look at the set pattern of Rangoli which is made up of basically different shades of red [Arnav's color] and Green and golden [ Khushi's color] mingle together with Earth colors As these two are mingle together with other set relations around them.Rangoli represents peace and harmony in relationships.Khushi runs alone over the earth colors without setting the pattern , which indicates she will leave Arnav without disturbing the colors of relationships

PONDERING CONNECTED DOTS: She does leave him for the sake of Anjali over Buaji's health.

2-but she also has Arnav's plant in her hand, the rejuvenation of his happy life.Arnav and her has a distance but he reached close to her later but without Trust and that's why he stumbles on his steps but the beauty is she holds his hand with her both hands...and also guides him on the right path.Arnav will always follow her even she will leave him .

3-BUT my deepest grabber is Khushi will break first and will shattered badly as she said to him "how nice you look obeying and trusting me"...poor soul has no clue yet and that's why when at the terrace he discloses the revelation of the marriage , she creates this "Khaleej" distance mentally which today she and Arnav has.She doesn't even bother justifying herself either. She leaves him later when she sees there is no Trust in between them as Arnav reminds her about "Contract " to keep her with him and break her again.
my POV is different. she left, because she couldn't see Anjali hurt. And Anjali's distraught state made Arnav hurt. because of that she left him, in spite of loving him immensely.

4-Now her saying if I leave the hand then colors will be disturbed, She is saying it but Arnav will grasp the meaning of it deeply after developing the deep relation with Guptas.Later when Khushi wants to refuse to go back RM, He reminds her lets see how her parents will react and she begs him not to do so and comes back with him...till then he knows if he will let her go his whole life will shattered without her ...

5-Now the milk when she was in the kitchen of RM she was boiling it and today she gives milk to one of the neighbors...took me back to "Durgha" where Arnav in rage orders to release all the fashion show footage.She was wearing White...Purity and Arnav stains her purity and Khushi again gets tainted by Arnav by giving herself on that dreadful night as she gave milk [purity] to the neighbor .But When Arnav takes her back home He returns her "pearls" Her PURITY and RESPECT and TRUST back to her. GH is the transformation period of Arnav more than Khushi.

6-Neighbor brings the sugar, Happiness to them but who holds it ...Garima as she is the key of happiness of this relationship later...She is the one whose truth will make this relationship bitter...

7-Buaji's million dollar saying.."Kursi ko idhar lagake rakha hain - Kaa faraq padhta hain Garima, Chat oonchin karo toh kono baat hain" [issues solve by expanding your thought process not by changing Location of chairs to reach to the Truth]. This track will help him see the half-truth - "Shyam-Khushi Engagement" that's where his stumble comes and blurred vision without glasses comes when Buaji was looking for glasses.Blurred vision as he still can't see clear PURITY of hers because of the fragments of info , as he was seeing through broken pieces of mirror.BUT Transparent soup "Wohi jissmain aar paar dikhta hai..."

Where for ASR ,to find the Key on the road to the whole truth ...has to think like Buaji said...deep thinking at different angles...in different direction

Episode starts with Grehparvesh of the couple side by side...rigt in front of Big Vast Rangoli.Again Khushi asks him carefully don't disturb the pattern as she always does for Payal and Anjali and family but Arnav has a straight forward one direction solution,lets go home...But the very next moment he gets astonished seeing her amble walk over it with his pots in her hand.She isn't for leaving in this at all..."Dhaga hum ne marzi se nahin thama..par ab jab bandh liya hai tou..."

Pause here: Resentment was all over his face when Khushi exclaimed with joy that how beautiful Rangoli has been set in your welcome.It was hard for him to have an eye contact for a second.

Don't forget he started his journey over the Rangoli by putting his right foot up ...Janamon ka saath...

PONERING CONNECTED DOTS:Khushi started her journey by putting her right foot first in RM though Anjali told her.

Arnav didn't take his eyes off of her as he knows his "Manzil" destination and it is a zigzag way to reach her.But one thing is clear he does follow her regardless he stumbles in this trust issue.But she pulls him to her safe heaven.

Symbolism and connection:Her hand is at the top of him and that shows her trust on him , Arnav second hand is full of weight , his bag and hers in one hand ...meaning he carries a guilt baggage and an abhorrence baggage together all the time .

He is taking his small and hesitant steps towards the real life from which he is away and ignorant.

Khushi who was detached for a while but never let him off of her sight either till she grabs him and that shows she will accept him by understanding the facts behind this marriage and why he did that.La's words "Tum tou samajhdar ho Khushi, tum samjh jaogi".. will come true at the end of this track and will follow her during Kidnapping.The Unconditional Love of these two will be at the peak during Telepathy.

PONDERING CONNECTED DOTS: They have gone through Rangoli before where he stumbled last time while trusting his own guts to embrace her with love and today he stumbled at trusting her but again can't embrace her with Love.That day colors brought them together and today again colors are bringing them closer than ever.

They both get frozen in their touch by holding hands and gazes at the same time.Khushi's uneven breathing didn't go unnoticed by Arnav and his soft, peaceful desires couldn't leave without touching her visage.They both get aroused by simple touch and that is setting it's own place in their hearts to make them more craved for each other each day.
they were very much aware of their affect on each other. but don't understand how they ignored it.

They finally reached to the door which is opened by Buaji and her first words "NandKishore has come !!"...Krishna, Who sets balances and vanquishes evil and here comes Khushi's 1 minute 55 seconds which also reminded him Balance and harmony because she lies down, she will be going through a lot to reach to this balance and he didn't hear her and passed her yesterday and that's exactly happened , his blurred vision is going to make him do hasty things till he will see her and as he turns around with his"sexy Serious" and she was holding the key...Her heart ...and the key in the soup is Anjali's heart , the child , unborn key , unborn child which in return is Arnav's heart...

The next scene took me to the next level after water fight in between Anjali and Shyam...Three women , Khushi , Garima and Buaji... [3 meaning success as it is a masculine #] standing holding in their hand...All come and stand side by side and that showed me as Ravan with different heads ,lies...as each one of them has a lie to share...Garima who didn't want to share this news at all for Payal's happiness.Buaji didn't share as Khushi stopped her.Khushi didn't tell Anjali for her sake.

Symbolism and connection:But here is the thing, they are holding 5 bowls and plates...two in Khushi and Buaji's hands while Garima is holding one...where 5 also sets harmony and balance... Symbolic meaning of incarnation of conscious where 4 relates with what matter most and 1 represents to incarnation of spirit as in the long run he will lift his spirit up from his past wounds related with other woman...Who was shown as Garima...I have my doubts about that...

But Khushi is in the middle and he just paid attention to her rather than anyone else...He accepted whatever offered ...he will accepts the truth without asking anything in return.

Arnav finishes his meal and refuses to sweets... walks out for cleaning hands in front of broken mirror with missing piece in an bewildered state... while khushi comes and offers him a towel..and he just gives her a glare at her for delicious puris.

Symboilsm and connection:broken mirror with missing piece is indicating of Shyam's truth but half as it is missing big piece of info...No proof..same thing as three women like many heads and broken pieces many heads ...lies lies lies...and troubles un clear.

His refusing sweet that the Gupta's offered meaning he will still see Khushi through that opaque soap and will see her as culprit as he didn't wash his hands (I loved the camera angle here where Arnav looks at the soap then at Khushi) because his vision will be blurred with the half-truths spoken by Shyam to everyone..from Anjali to Guptas to him... "No Handwash" i.e. no transparency as no one knows what a manipulator and devil Shyam Manohar Jha is, , no one knows the lengths he can go to or has gone, starting from Bauji's paralysis to Anjali's accident. Till all this connects, till the broken picture becomes whole,
wonderful perception. If you wouldn't explain, i would never understand the significance of this broken mirror. it was just a funny scene to me.

Here comes Buaji's words.. "kuan pyasa ke paas nahi aa sakta hai to pyasa kuan ke paas ja sakta hain".He will move towards the truth and will put two and two together and Shyam will help him as he said to Babli.."Shyam uncle hain na" ...He is the one who kidnapped Arnav and all of his master plan and his death will took him to his grave...[was not the part of script but worked really well]...Well Cupid got his slippery plan in action...

i loved this episode. Though felt bad to see ASR in nonplus state, but so many good moments made the episode good.

there was so many significant connection and symbolism, you pondered, that amused me. you really can see thing from a deep perspective.

Love your thoughts on the layered character of buaji. In absence of her brother she was the lady of the house and she was perfectly performing all her duties till the very end. She never let her family astray and no matter how much she was hurt by the cruel fate of life, first being a widow then having a sick brother, she didn't give up.
The line that are colored in blue caught my attention. They are stupendous.
Damaadji temporary stay in the home of her paagal wife has started. Every one is trying hard to make other comfortable, especially the ladies who are doing their best to make their son-in-law welcome and helping him adjusting by giving him his space. Its a ricking start but gradually everything will be settle.

actually, in ipk, i found there was an interest exhibited in all the characters, even the most minor ones... bua ji was of course a big one... isn't she also a lot like khushi? they have that ott sanka, their major attitude and big huge heart, apart from crooked choti of course...

bua ji is both generic middle class and very specific bua ji... a widow with no children... very proud of her world and tries to defend it with all she has. yet tender and easy to hurt. she has badly regretted her misjudging of a situation with shyam too. i love her somewhere.

when i got married, my sasural was really my husband's maasi's home. she was a widow without children and she had of course by then lost both her parents. she was loving and kind, yet utterly erratic at times, an abs character. i loved her much. maybe bua ji brought her to mind. she had that sensitive nature and would go all out to make me comfortable... looking i used to feel, for a bit of love from someone, somewhere. lovely lady... khatta meetha teekha.
