CID Written Update: Diamond Robbery(aired 21st March, 2014)

Scene 1

The episode begins with a thief entering Neelam Mahal secretly and trying to steal the piece of diamond from the room where it was hidden with loads of security measures. The thief unlocks the room followed by switching off the layer of rays around the diamond, using a password. However, before he could reach the diamond, he falls through the secret passage on the floor.

Scene 2

6 people arrive at Neelam Mahal. They were relatives of Mansukh, the owner of Neelam Mahal, now being converted into a hotel. They are surprised that they were sent invitations as they were not in good terms with him. Arnab, the manager welcomes them and takes them inside. Ragini (Played by Sunny Leonne) performs a dance number at the party. After that, Mansukh comes and sits with his relatives to discuss about some matter. He says he wanted to write his will on his birthday(that was 2 days from that day)and divide all his property among his relatives equally. However, the priceless diamond would be given to only the one who would win the game that they all would have to play. Everyone happily agree to his conditions.

Scene 3

Ragini is seen capturing the hotel's interiors on her phone. One of the relative's bumps into her and her cell falls down. They exchange some hi hellos sorry etc and leave.

Scene 4

Another relative of Mansukh, one of the two girls, takes her luggage into her room. She opens the wardrobe and is left shocked to see something.

Scene 5

Next morning, Mansukh and 5 of his relatives are having their breakfast when the old man, Viraj comes in late and joins them. Soon he falls on the floor and dies.

CID arrives.

Salunke checks Viraj's body and confirms that he was poisoned. The poison was not in his food but in his toothpaste. Sachin interrogates the other family members. Arnab shows them the invitation card that they had sent to the relatives.

Scene 6

CID searches Viraj's room. They find a hotel's toothpaste in his bathroom. On interrogating the incharge of housekeeping, they come to know that Viraj had called them up asking for a toothpaste in the morning, but then during the call a lady entered his room and he cut the phone. After that he didn't ask for any toothpaste. They notice a part of the glass on the window of the bathroom was broken. CID predicts that Viraj must have taken the toothpaste from somebody whom he knew...i.e. from one of his relatives.

Scene 7

CID team hears Mala's scream. It was coming from her room. Mala was injured. Sachin notices some kerosene oil at the entrance of the room. She dies in front of them. They check the room and find that a trap was set up in order to kill Mala. A rope was attached to the door in such a way that as soon as someone entered the room, a pointed glass would fall on that person and he or she would die immediately. Sachin recalls having seen something similar in Viraj's laptop and also the fact that Viraj was a mechanical engineer confirms his involvement in killing Mala. The piece of glass that was used to kill her also belonged to Viraj's bathroom window.

Sachin asks Arnab about the family members and he says that Mansukh was not very fond of them. He says he was surprised that Mansukh invited all of them for the party. Freddy shows Sachin a syringe that smelled similar to that of Viraj's toothpaste. This meant that it was Mala who had given that poisoned toothpaste to Viraj. Thus Viraj and Mala both killed each other, without any clear motive.

Scene 8

Mohini falls from the terrace and dies. One of the staff members witnesses this. However, he says he didn't see anyone push Mohini from the terrace. CID team calculates the distance of the dead body from the building and concludes that somebody must have pushed her from the terrace. Purvi goes to the terrace to check. Sachin interrogates the rest of the relatives. The other girl, Sanya, says she had seen Mohini outside Ritwik's room sometime back. Ritwik, however, was nowhere to be seen.

Scene 9

CID team wonders where Ritwik could have vanished as the watchman had confirmed not having seen him going out of the hotel. Suddenly Purvi and Sachin notice some pieces of the invitation card floating on the pond. They take it out and find "Kill Sanya" written on one of the pieces.

Scene 10

Sanya decides to leave the hotel before somebody attacks her too. Samrat enters her room and tries to drown her in the bathtub. Before he could succeed CID team arrives and saves her. They ask them the reason why they were trying to kill each other. Sanya confesses that they were all trying to kill other as they were asked to. They were told they would have to kill each other and the one who would remain alive at the end would be given the diamond. Samrat says that he came to know that everyone was told to do the same thing, only when CID team told them that Maya and Viraj killed each other. Thus, he thought before others could kill him, he must kill the rest of them.

Scene 11

CID team visits Ragini. She was the first guest of the hotel and was present at the inauguration ceremony. She wanted to show them something and that's why had wanted to meet them. She says that 2 days back, while she was going towards her room, she had unknowingly recorded a video on her cell phone. She hadn't noticed the video clipping before as her cell's battery was down. But now she wants CID to see the clipping as it looked a bit suspicious. CID team checks the video.

Scene 12

ACP meets Mansukh. They ask him the whereabouts of Ritwik. Purvi shows him the video that Ragini had given them. It shows that Mansukh had vanished into nowhere through some secret passageway but he had denied any presence of such secret rooms in the hotel.

On the other side, Abhijeet visits the corner of the hotel which was shown in the video clipping. He checks the area and finds a way to a secret room. It was the room where the diamond was hidden. Abhijeet throws a pen towards the diamond and realize that there was a layer of rays through which nobody could pass. He tries to switch off the security system using a password, but is unable to guess the password correctly for the first few times.

Here, Manuskh confesses having planned the entire game of death. He was the one to have asked every relative of his to kill each other. Suddenly, Mansukh starts screaming in pain. ACP asks Purvi to call Salunke immediately. Arnab tries to escape but they catch him. Arnab confesses having tried to kill Mansukh as he too wanted to get hold of the diamond. He was the one to have hired a professional thief in order to steal the diamond, but he too fell into the secret passageway near the diamond and vanished. Freddy takes Arnab and hurries to the secret room in order to save Abhijeet. But before they could reach Abhijeet had already fallen into the trap. Inside the room where Abhijeet was trapped, he found Ritwik and another(the thief's) dead body. He was finding it very difficult to breathe and kept asking for help.

On this side, Purvi ties herself to a rope and tries to examine the floor in front of the diamond properly in order to find the trap door. Finally, she successfully opens the door and saves Abhijeet. Abhijeet slaps Arnab for his deeds and gives the faansi dialogue.
