I totally agree with you, thanks a lot for making this post 👏

It's really not fair on Aaliya that she gets bashed for doing what's right even if it means hiding it from Zain. Aaliya knows what she's doing and she does it by keeping everyone's interest at heart. She doesn't deliberately want to hide things from Zain but she has to, because of the circumstances.

We should treat all male and female leads equally

Unfortunately on every forum there's always one group that always supports the male lead, and one that always supports the female lead, and then there's some who just support characters simply based on their actions, and I believe I fall in that group.

When Aaliya didn't tell anyone about Fahad's situation, I completely understood why, but also didn't completely agree with it. I thought she should've told Zain, simply for her own safety and Fahad's safety. They were dealing with dons, and it was a life threatening situation, and I'm sure Zain could've helped her out financially, instead of her having to sell her jewellery and going through humiliation and pain. I thought the storyline was a bit unrealistic, but I actually enjoyed it. It developed that bond between Aaliya and Fahad, and it showed Zain just how much this family means to her.

With the Zain and Aayat situation I don't think anyone really needs to know about it. Aayat is out of whatever situation she was in, and telling anyone about it now would serve no purpose. It would only cause her pain and humiliation. However, I do think Zain should've been more clear from the start that he's helping someone instead of letting Aaliya believe whatever she wanted to. Obviously he told her later, but he still hasn't said anything about Rocky to her, and I think he should. He didn't have to mention Aayat if he didn't want to, but since his own life was at risk, I think she has a right to know why someone would want to hurt her husband.

I guess my point is they were both trying to simply help out people that they love, and not only did they want to save them from the situation, but they also wanted to spare them any humiliation and pain. None of them had the perfect approach to the situation, but I don't see why anyone would hate either. Zain's approach just seems more right, but that's simply because he had already sorted out the problem, whereas Aaliya needed help, and her one was life threatening. I'm sure even Aaliya would've done the same in Zain's place.

If it was me in either situation I wouldn't want anyone to know about it, especially the escort one, but it all depends on the circumstances.

Well...I personally had criticized Aliya for her actions during Fahad track & am not doing so for Zain. Your main issue is about the approach towards the characters for the same issue right? Well...here goes...

Personally...I didn't see any major criticisms for Aliya when she she was lieing to Zain. I infact remember people enjoying Zain's jealous act more. Of course I may be wrong...but in any case...like Yuvika said, Aliya had hidden like everything from Zain, while he had atleast cleared out who he was with, why he was with her. Neither of them should be lying in the first place...but Aliya's glared out more...because Zain had atleast made attempts to tell her most of the truth. Hence the 'hypocrisy' in judging them.
Shouting on siblings...Yup, people, including me, were irritated at her for stopping Zain. And that was because, after Zain knew the whole truth & everything, he had every right to question Fahad why he put their whole business, at stake...basically risking bringing his entire family on the streets. (Personally...I don't think THAT was a small issue at all...but anyways.) He barely just about raised his voice. Then Aliya stepped in & despite knowing Fahad was wrong, started taunting Zain. In Ayat's case...Zain was not taunting Aliya, nor was he criticizing her. He simply stopped her...because he knew everything about Ayat & didn't want Aliya being harsh on her without knowing the truth. The situation would be same to me...if on Monday, after Aliya knows everything, scolds Ayat for being so stupid/nave, & Zain interfers. Then hell yes...I will be pissed. Right now...the situation is not the same to me.
Zain screamed on Aliya because he thought that she had sold precious family heirlooms for a boyfriend. How does that sound? Exactly for what are we to criticize him? Is he not supposed to get angry at that? The issue with Aliya questioning Zain's honesty is that...why taunt him when she herself has lied. This part has been explained better already so not going further into the topic.
Aliya is not bashed all the time. We loved her in the beginning of the nikaah track for her no nonsense behavior, & the appreciation HAS taken place here. Including her retorting to Zain. Zain was more criticized that time because perhaps majority saw him as being more wrong. Right now...its Aliya's actions which seem more wrong. Where exactly does the hypocrisy you are talking about come in?😲 How is it fair to simply accuse a group of people for being close minded & having double standards for the male & female leads? I love Zain as a character more, but that's not because he is the male lead/good looking. Its because I find his strongly silent & shaded character more intriguing, while Aliya's more open & visibly strong character I admire & am thankful for. ZaYa may have similar traits/characteristics, but they are sure as hell not written or conceived the same way. They may have been put into similar situations, may have tackled it in similar ways...but their approach was NOT the SAME. Then why should ours be?

completly agree with u...watever aaliya do,people vl jux bash her... for me xpect that orange wig, till now i enjoyed and felt aaliya is jux perfect as she is..zain is immature at times and sometimes he vl act so mature, suddenly he vl flirt,so till now zain is unpredictable...according to me,till now depends on zains action, aaliya reacted appropriately...nice post and exactly correct analysis...

omg! who bashed Aliya?did I miss something?

anyways I just love this show beyond anything,so I hate criticizing it in a bad way,or criticizing any character (except if its a negative one) ,cause I know its no use fretting over something ,CV's will show what they have to and they know their characters/story best,so bashing a character is useless,it goes on deaf ears..plus I enjoy a show the way its portrayed and I don't like to catch on the negative stuff..its ok if someone don't like some track/story/character but creating negative atmosphere doesn't help na?

PS: waise BI has the best forum wasis/members Ive come across ever...we all have a decent way to agree or agree to disagree,so that's a proud thing..
