A tale of two Kunals!
TV actor Kunal Kapoor often receives calls meant for his filmi counterpart... putting him in awkward situations!

TV actor Kunal Kapoor has one problem on hand. He often receives calls that are actually for film actor Kunal Kapoor.
And sometimes these calls can put him in embarrassing situations too. For instance, once he got a call from Pooja Bhatt's office wanting him to go through a script. "I remember I was fast asleep when my phone rang in the morning," recounts Kunal."I took the call and suddenly sat up. I was so excited. I thought 'Wow! It's my time now to get into films.' At the end of the entire converstion, the caller said he'd liked me in my movie Rang De Basanti!" And the bubble burst! But Kunal's unfazed. "Actually, it's very funny and I don't get affected by them. Sometime ago I had a call from somebody who wanted me to come as a guest to a high-profile Polo event and I immediately asked her if she was looking for the film actor Kunal Kapoor. Well, she was. So I had to politely tell her I'm not the one. Just the other day a newspaper journalist called and wanted a comment from me on something. I asked her too who she was looking for and she said I want to speak to Kunal Kapoor, the TV actor. Ah! That was my moment!" he smiles.
Kunal, who made his debut on TV with Remix , currently plays Yudi in the serial Left Right Left on SAB. The young actor loves biking and hopes to go around the world on his bike someday.
And what's on the personal front? "Yes I'm seeing someone. She was my co-star in Remix — Surelee Joseph," admits Kunal, unlike many actors who prefer the 'we are just friends' line. Quite a refreshing change!
