Trust vs. Promise

I don't really like to get in the middle of topics here. But I have seen a lot of different posts/views, so I want to know:

1. What does promise have to do with trust?
2. Does someone need to promise someone in order to trust them?
3. Does trust have to be spoken?
4. Can trust just be actions?
5. Aren't there different levels of trust?

My answers to my questions:

1. What does promise have to do with trust? Promise does not have anything to do with trust.
   
2. Does someone need to promise someone in order to trust them? A person does not have to promise someone anything in order to trust them.
   
3. Does trust have to be spoken? Trust does not have to be spoken or said in words.
   
4. Can trust just be actions? Trust can be shown via actions
   
5. Aren't there different levels of trust? There are different level of trust in life.
