Are the Pandava families know about Arjun's having three wives?

Draupadi NEVER banned the Pandavas from having multiple wives. It's just that these other wives weren't supposed to come in Indraprastha, that's it. And THAT is exactly the reason why Draupadi got upset about Subhadra. Because Arjuna brought Subhadra to Indraprastha after marriage, NOT because he simply married her.

Draupadi's anger was a momentary thing BTW - she accepted Subhadra completely - as her own sister.

Also, Arjuna is NOT the only Pandava who had multiple wives. ALL the Pandavas had multiple wives. Yes, ALL of them.

Arjuna's son (with Ulupi), Irawan participated in the Kurukshetra war (if I'm not mistaken). So, obviously the Pandavas would be in the know about his multiple matrimonial alliances.

And why make it seem as if Arjuna had done something "bad" or "immoral" by marrying multiple women? Granted he was on exile, but, it was common practice for kings/princes to marry multiple women for various reasons, including political.

yes! other pandavas too had so many wives. but in the mahabharata book, they didn't tell or introduce about pandavas are having multiple wives except arjuna's wives and hidimba only.

so general knowledge outside the mahabharata revealed us about pandavas's having multiple wives. i never know this. i learnt these subjects from wikipedia only.

yes, you are right! iravan participated in the war. arjun did console after his son's death BUT he didn't take revenge upon his son's death.

No, he's not immoral! krishna did have so many wives. so nothing will be happened to arjun.

ya in sme ware read arjun nd chitrangada son ..babruvahan ..if im nt wrong...he too had his part in story which dont know detaildly..

Yeah, all the Pandavas knew about Arjun's marriages to Uloopi & Chitrangada - there is no reason he'd have kept it secret. They loved story telling and would have pressed Arjun to recount his experiences in exile, so he's bound to have told them of his 3 marriages.

If you read some of the puranas (i.e Vishnu purana), they mention about Pandavas other wives. I agree Draupadi never had a problem with their wives, it was common practice in those days, it was for political reasons and it was even common practice to leave a wife in her own kingdom if THAT kingdom had no apparent heir, especially if the king's daughter gives birth to a son. In addition, I have also read how Draupadi not only served her husbands, but their wives and mistresses too. Because she served all of them, Pandavas loved her even more and gave her that high respect, they use to listen to her for her advice etc.
