i am new to this section, dont have much idea about II3 😕 . so if anyone can enlighten me 😛 one of my great friends mandy has recommended me to join the section 😛 . i also have few questions

what is the show about? what is so special about the show that everyone is waiting for it? 😛

for how many days is it going to be aired? is it also aired on sat and sun? 😛

indian idol is a reality show....

like how big boss was.....but ii is a singing competition...

first there are auditions where judges choose many singers...den they keep shortlisting them until top 28...

after top 28...the singers sing for teh audience...and we vote for who we will like....this is the piano round...

den wen we vote in piano round...there onli remains top 12/13 contestants....who are the finalists....

den with these contestants....the galas start....and each week these contestants sing for the audience and we vote every week......1 person is eliminated each week...

at the end onli 1 singer remains who is declared the indian idol...

the first season was a big success....abhijeet sawant became a huge sensation.....2nd season wasnt as big a success tho...

now 3rd season promises to be bigger and better.....lets hope....

haha piano round isnt just he piano playing....this is wen the singers sing....with music for the first time.....(which is the paino playing in the background)

b4 this....auditions and theatre rounds are singing without any music...but the auditions are the most fun parts.....which are going to be aired friday😃
