Balika Vadhu 18 March 2014 Written Update

Amol's school:

Episode starts with Amol ( new Amol ,actor replaced One more replacement😳)and his friends in their class wishing best of luck to each other before exam .One student naming Gopal asks for extra eraser from Amol since he has forgot his at home . Amol gives him . The teacher comes and distributes the question papers among students . The exam starts . Gopal has brought a paper with answers written on it with him for cheating in exam but when teacher is taking round in the class , he throws it near Amol 's seat . The teacher sees a paper near Amol 's seat . She picks it up and reads the answers written on it . The teacher stops the students from writing and asks them one by one who brought this paper . All say they didn't bring it including Gopal . When teacher asks Amol he too says he didn't . The teacher asks everyone to stop writing till this is not found out who brought this paper , no exam will happen . Gopal says to teacher if this paper was lying near Amol so it means he brought it . Amol is shocked to hear this . The teacher checks Amol's paper and too thinks Amol brought this paper for cheating saying to him you already wrote all the answers after copying it from this paper and then you threw the paper on floor . Amol says he didn't. The teacher says now principal will make you accept your mistake

Teacher takes Amol to Principal . Principal after checking the paper asks Amol to accept his mistake it was he who was cheating . Amol says he was not . Principal calls Anandi

Kesar Bagh and Amol's school:

Anandi attends the call . The principal asks Anandi can she come to school as they have caught her son cheating in the exam. Anandi is shocked to hear this

Badi Haveli

Dadisaa sitting in her room is lost in thoughts worried for Mannu. Gehna comes and tells her that saree seller and jeweler have come . I will call jiji too and together we will select the sarees and jewelry. Dadisaa scolds Gehna they are not celebrating any function here that she is so eager to buy new sarees and jewelry . Gehna says ok Maasaa I will send the saree seller and jeweler back and tell Maa and Kanchan to select what they want for marriage themselves . Dadisaa then realizes she forgot about Kanchan's marriage and asks Gehna not to do so. Dadisaa says she was so worried for Mannu that forgot about Kanchan's marriage and scolded her for nothing . Gehna says I can understand . Dadisaa asks Gehna to select the best clothes and jewelry for Kanchan Whatever we can do , we will do for her marriage Its after all for her better future . Right now we are worried for Mannu but We will have to make ourselves understand if cannot make ourselves understand then have to force ourselves We cannot stop living and perhaps this noble work of making a girl's life can be a blessing for our Mannu . Gehna says now there is only one prayer coming from my heart , goddess make Ratan Singh agree. Dadisaa says Jagdish is going to meet Ratan , goddess give Ratan some kindness in his heart so that he saves Mannu. Goddess will have to do justice with innocent Mannu. Dadisaa then goes with Gehna to select sarees and jewelry for Kanchan for her marriage .

Amol's school:

Anandi in principal's office . Anandi asks Amol tell me the truth ? Did you cheat in exam? Amol says No. Anandi says to principal I already knew Amol cannot do such act but still asking this from Amol was necessary for me . I trust Amol , he can never lie to me . Amol's teacher says to Anandi but Amol has written same to same answers in paper that are written on other paper Now what you will say about this? Anandi says to principal it can be a coincidence too. You need to check it again . Amol does not need to cheat as he prepared for his exam well.I teach him myself and I know he has prepared for his exam very well. Principal says we respect your trust on your son as a mother but we cannot ignore the fact this paper was found near Amol's seat. Anandi says it can also be possible some other kid threw this paper near Amol's seat. Just then school's bell rings . Amol emotionally says to Anandi Maa exam is over ,now he will fail in exam . Anandi is emotional hearing this

Outside Amol's friends cannot believe Amol can cheat since he is so good in studies . Gopal comes there One of Amol's friend ask Gopal did he see Amol cheating since he was sitting right behind him ? Gopal says he didn't notice since he was busy in writing his paper but since that paper is found near Amol's seat so he must be cheating . Amol's friend says whatever but she trusts Amol he can never cheat

In Principal's office Principal says to Anandi I am sorry but I cannot do anything now According to our school's policy this is a very big mistake and now I cannot allow Amol to sit in exams this year. Amol emotionally says to Anandi I am telling truth maa I didn't cheat. Anandi says to principal without the mistake being proved how can you give Amol this punishment ? Anandi requests Principal to check again but principal is in no mood to listen further and asks Anandi she can take Amol home .Amol and Anandi both are very sad

Anandi brings Amol out of principal's office . All class students gather around Amol and Anandi . Gopal too present there . One among the students ask Anandi what did principal say ? Amol didn't cheat right? Anandi says no , the principal didn't agree , she thinks Amol cheated . The students say they don't believe this Amol cannot cheat. Anandi too says she also thinks same but they have no proof to prove Amol innocent and principal has given him punishment he cannot give exams this year. All students are sad hearing this . Gopal feels bad now .The principal along with class teacher also come out and hearing students and Anandi 's words feels bad . Amol sadly asks Anandi lets go home . Gopal stops Amol and returns him his eraser. Amol asks Gopal to keep the eraser with him since he will not be able to give exams now . Gopal feels guilty . When Anandi and Amol are about to leave Gopal stops them and confesses his mistake saying that chit was mine I copied from it . Everyone is surprised to hear this

Badi Haveli:

Mannu is sleeping . Ganga is affectionately caressing Mannu's head and saying to him you will have to be strong You have to win this battle for your mother and father . Just then Ganga hears Ratan Singh laughing evilly . Ganga is shocked to see Ratan standing in her room laughing at her . Ratan mocks Ganga you along with that doctor snatched my son from me Now see my curse , death is going to snatch Mannu from you , you cannot do anything now neither that doctor .Only I can stop this from happening but I won't do this Mannu will die struggling for his life in your lap and this will be my revenge from you and from that doctor From my side life time punishment for you both . Ratan laughs . Ganga says no nothing will happen to my Mannu , he is alive and will remain alive You will see nothing will happen to my Mannu. Ganga is saying this when Jagya comes in the room and asks Ganga what happened . Ganga tells Jagya see what this Ratan Singh is saying .He is saying our Mannu will die He is lying Nothing will happen to our Mannu. Jagya holds Ganga and asks her to come to her senses There is no Ratan Singh here . Ganga says he is standing here see . When Ganga again sees the same spot where she saw Ratan Singh standing , no one is there . Ganga realizes it was her only her imagination . She checks Mannu. Mannu is sleeping peacefully . Ganga is emotional . Jagya consoles her don't think so much Ganga, Ratan Singh will have to listen to us He will have to help us . Ganga emotionally says May God makes it true whatever you are saying .Jagya consoles Ganga it will happen . JaGan then emotionally look at Mannu 😭.

Amol's school:

Gopal along with his parents in Principal's office . Anandi , Amol and class teacher too there Gopal confesses his mistake in front of principal saying he brought that chit for copying but when teacher was checking everyone's desks he became scared and threw that chit but by chance it landed near Amol's chair . Gopal's father scolds his son asking him how can he do this ? why he felt the need to cheat when he already always come in top three ranks in class. . Anandi says to Gopal's father forgive me for speaking in this but you are responsible for Gopal's this mistake

Gopal's mother asks Anandi what you are saying ?how we are responsible for this ? Anandi says before you coming here we were talking to Gopal and from that we came to know you both pressurized him for standing first in class . He became so much scared if he didn't stand first in class then he will have to bear your scolding, he lost trust in himself and took support of cheating . Gopal's father says to Anandi why we are wrong to pressurize him to stand first in class ? Do you even know how much competition is there in this world today? To succeed here one has to compete . Anandi says I accept that there is a lot much competition in world today but that competition which takes away the self confidence of a child from him and he goes on wrong path , do mistakes to win then what is purpose of such success ?

Anandi says I will tell you an incident from my childhood which happened with someone special to me His name is Jagdish Hopefully after hearing this you will understand what I am trying to tell you. Anandi then tells Jagdish was a lot pressurized by his family for becoming a doctor since they wanted him to become a doctor when he grows up .They put a lot of pressure on him to stand first in class When he couldn't , scared from them he changed his mark sheet but when head master came in the house for a function he told the truth. Hearing the truth Jagdish's father became very angry at him and beaten him . After being badly scolded by his father Jagdish ran away from home to Mumbai but there he was kidnapped by some goons who used children for begging . Anandi tells all this through flashbacks

Gopal's parents are scared hearing all the incident . Anandi says with Gopal situation didn't worsen up to that level ,now to understand and correct your mistake is up to you. Gopal's parents understand their mistake and hug Gopal. Gopal's father says to Anandi you are right we are responsible for Gopal's this mistake . He thanks Anandi for opening their eyes and making them understand their mistake . Anandi says we should encourage our kids to get knowledge not to get numbers With knowledge numbers will automatically come Gopal's father says you are right we will take care of this next time . He apologizes to Anandi for whatever trouble she and Amol has to face because of them . The principal and class teacher too apologize to Anandi and Amol for taking a wrong decision hurriedly without checking properly and troubling them . Anandi says no problem all is well that ends well. Gopal returns Amol his eraser which Amol takes now . The principal says now Amol can give his exams . Principal also instructs the class teacher to take Amol's exam again that he missed today . Amol and Anandi both are very happy

Jail

Jagya comes to meet Ratan Singh in jail . Ratan mocks Jagya asking him my wife and son are already with you now for what you came here ? to adopt me ? Jagya says to Ratan Mannu is suffering from blood cancer . Ratan is very angry hearing this and grabs Jagya by his collar shouting at him what you did with my Mannu? You yourself is a doctor still how Mannu got this disease ? Tell me ? You must have done something to Mannu to take revenge from me Tell me what you did? Jagya says I didn't do anything with Mannu You know how much dangerous is this disease . To save Mannu's life I did everything I could do Consulted every big doctor but now there is only way to save his life . Ratan shouts at Jagya tell what is that way? Jagya says if we transplant your bone marrow in Mannu's body then we can save him In simple words Bone marrow makes new blood in our body For treatment of blood cancer it is taken from a healthy person and transplanted in the patient's body so that new blood can be produced in the body and this is called bone marrow transplant but bone marrow of a relative is required .I have got Ganga's bone marrow tested but it does not match with Mannu but I am sure your's will match We can save Mannu and that is why I came to meet you.

Ratan goes in thinking hearing this . Jagya asks him are you understanding what I am saying . Ratan leaves Jagya and asks him how much you love my Mannu? Jagya says I love him more than my own life and I will do anything to prove it Whatever you will ask me I will do . Ratan says no need to do anything to prove your love for Mannu I can see your love for Mannu in your eyes Ratan Singh says I will not help you in saving Mannu.😡🤬 Jagya is shocked to hear this .😭 Ratan says what you and Ganga did with me This is your both's life time punishment for that 🤬Go now 🤬. Ratan laughs and leaves 😡🤬. Jagya emotionally requests to Ratan not to do this and save Mannu😭 Your enmity is with me What that innocent child did Save him Ratan 😭. Jagya even joins his hands😭 but Ratan goes away🤬 . Jagya breaks down😭 and keeps requesting Ratan save my child , save my Mannu please Ratan , save my child .😭

Scene shot in Amol's school was very nice. I really liked when the other kid himself confessed about his mistake, that made the message more impactful. Anandi rightly said that parents should try to make their kids focus on acquiring knowledge and not just run after the marks. I too strongly believe in this and wish our Indian education system also adapts to this philosophy completely especially after senior secondary level.

It was good to watch Anandi remembering an old childhood incident on Jagya.

Jagya-Ratan Singh scene was fantastic. For a moment I thought Jagya was dreaming that entire scene and Ratan Singh might have a change of heart, afterall he is a father and did want Manu back at any cost. Lots of harships ahead for JaGan.

Yes Shivji is back , so do we get to see an emotional ANSH scene !
