Apr 30, 2007 - Monday updt
missed the first segment yesterday.
guess it was all abt Idiot, mad, madder and maddest trio of Bharathy, his mom, Anandhi and Kartik.
Second scene started with Maddest making eight-crooked faces (ashtakoNal) and eating food and Idiot informs Mad that he is taking off from work to take Maddest out to enjoy the nice weather of Chennai and he needs cool breeze..(why not get Kaitan?) Mad is all overwhelmed at her idiot son's gesture and is all for it and advices Maddest to be careful.
Off goes Idiot in his two-wheeler with Maddest hanging behind. They go the beach and there idiot confronts Kartik. Kartik pretends ignorance by again making faces accompanied by abhinayams (in the worst form) and some really contortionist movements. but finally comes clean and tells Idiot that he became ok even in Bangalore. And was pretending so that Anandhi shouldn't marry Idiot. And that will happen only if he continues to be mad. Bharathy for a change, wants to prove that I have misnamed him, cleverly starts taping the conversation in a miniature tape recorder set in his pant pocket. Kartik spills all and says the other day when I had salt in the food, watched TV and even my trip to the bank, I was able to erase any doubts you created in the minds of Anandi and even your mom. I am cleverer than you and Anandi is an idiot.. Bharathy says yes, she is for taking the time and effort to make sure you get better. Kartik says, I didn't say she is not a good person, just that she believes that I am genuine.
Bharathy says he will expose Kartik by going in his own way and the very first step was accepting that Bharathy was at fault the other day, regarding the bank incident. Now Bharathy gets a call from Anandhi and he moves away and while talking, reverts back to his pseudonym and unconsciously fingers and takes the recorder out and Kartik's eyes bulge even more. I didn't think it was possible. He rushes forward towards an unsuspecting Bharathy who is eagerly giving directions to Madder and holding the recorder loosely. Kartik grabs it and starts running towards the sea.
Bharathy follows and Kartik throws it in the water...and they tussle..tussle...Kartik tries to strangle Bharathy and now Anandhi comes in her scooty and Kartik who is on top now, busy strangling Bharathy, spots her an suddenly changes position and keeps his face in a multi-position, pretending to suffer at Bharathy's hands. As expected, the bigger idiot and Madder anandhi falls for this gimmick and blasts Bharathy left and right and wouldn't hear his explanations that all is well with Kartik. She says Bharathy pretended to be wrong the other day only to bring Kartik alone to kill him...and takes Kartik away and Bharathy is disgust. don't know why he wastes time on this loser.
Kartik turns and gives an exorcist look at a frustrated Bharathy.
I really wish Bharathy wash his hands off Anandhi and she is stuck with this mad Kartik for her life and Kartik has to act mad for the rest of his life. serves both of them better.
This episode reminded me of Visu's famous dialogue - oru payithiyakkaara aaspathirila oru payithiyathukku vaidhiyam paarkira payithiyakkaara doctorku payithiyam pidichaa, andha payithiyakkaara doctorku, endha payithiyakkaara aaspathirila payithiyathukku vaidhiyam paarkira payithiyakkaara doctor vaidhiyam paarppaan?
