I really don't know how this Maha Shivaratri Mela will end, all I know is I don't want to see Major being court marshalled nor curtains being drawn on Param Singh Tejawat so early into the story. When I was thinking how this can happen given the other lose ends in this track... I kind of had an idea... this is how I would like things to progress...
At the mela, Maya finds out that Paro is marrying her son and Paro also gets to know Thakurain is Rudra's mom. Rudra comes face to face with his mom and even before he could absorb that information, it is revealed to him that she is Tejawat's wife. Rudra-Paro get married (before or after facing Maya). As usual Maya who lives in a fool's paradise and believes in everything being rosy, thinks once she comes infront of her son, it will be a happy reunion. She tells Rudra-Paro, she wants them to come over and stay with her in the haveli.
On the other hand the BSD raid at the mela is partially successful, Rudra collects evidence that his mission was not frivolous, however, BSD doesn't have the ammunition to nail Tejawat. Rudra's court marshall is averted based on the evidence. Rudra is far from being satisfied with the outcome, he more aggrieved as his mom is married to a terrorist. He is almost disgusted that his mom thought it would be so easy for him to forget the traumatising childhood and accept her. A sense of betrayal overwhelms him as a son and a solider watching the woman he grew up admiring, worships her terrorist husband. When he recaps the meeting, he remembers his mom calling him and his wife to come and stay with her at the Tejawat Haveli. He sees his best opportunity there. He is convinced the only way to bring down Tejawat's empire is from the inside. He decides to take his mom up on her offer (also his payback for her betrayal?!?) He takes his General and Aman into confidence and convinces them for an undercover mission. As a part of the under cover operation, BSD fakes Rudra's court marshall. Rudra pretends to be heart broken and vehemently hates BSD.
Dilsher on the other hand, is extremely bitter towards Paro on whom he blames Rudra's court marshal and an attempt on his life. Along with that is Paro's liaison with Maya. Dilsher wants Paro away from his son's life. This is a perfect excuse for Rudra to leave the Ranawat Haveli with Paro. Dhaveer informs his bhabhisa about this and Maya emotionally blackmails Tejawat to get Rudra home. And Rudra enters the Tejawat haveli. Once in, Rudra can either openly challenge Tejawat or he can be sly and pretend to win over Tejawat's confidence. Rudra/Ashish can carry off both with loads of attitude and confidence. Tejawat will be a worthy opponent... he is sly and ruthless too. Both Rudra and Tejawat are capable of thinking on their toes... I think Rudra was waiting his brilliant wit indulging in kitchen politics with his Kaki. As ruthless as I sound, I wouldn't mind Maya being used as a pawn by her son and husband as they go about the cat and mouse game.
While Rudra continues to gather evidence against Tejawat, it will be an ideal opportunity to work on his relationship with Paro. Paro is back in Birpur, a place she grew up in and has Thakurain for a saans... she will heal. Rudra-Paro can get to know eachother better, solidify their love. (but if Rudra is court marshalled, then Varun is meant to be innocent... how will Paro react to Rudra? I don't know how to deal with this, so I will overlook that) Paro trips on something illegal in the haveli, tells Rudra about it, but Rudra brushes her off saying she is one who believes that Tejawat is always right. As a part of his under cover operations, he fails each attempt of Tejawat indulging in illegal activities... tracks down the 17 daughters of the village who have been sent across the border(atleast Nandini. I want Nandini- Aman love story not Aman- Sunheri's. Aman should have his own captor-captive love story, he seems to know how to handle POW better than his senior😆). Rudra also connects with the people of Birpur and wins their confidence which will help him when he gets back to them as a BSD officier there by ending the long standing feud between BSD and villagers.
Finally when the time comes, Rudra plans a coup... and this time Major Rudra Pratap Ranawat (in uniform!) successfully arrests Tejawat. Rudra has managed to establish his mom is unaware of the terror activities... so she is left out of the arrests. He walks away from the haveli leaving his mom behind! (I want that lady deserted for a while!!!) but making sure she has some loyal servants or Paro's Bua to take care of her. Rudra-Paro move back to the Ranawat haveli, back to Dilsher. Paro finally realises that her husband is a patriotic hero and hers too. Then Paro can start mending the Ma-Beta relationship.
I want to see this track because I know only Rudra can betray even himself for the sake of his country. I want this victory to be Major Rudra Pratap Ranawat's victory... I want his family, especially his mom to know, if she left him devoid of a mother, he found a mother in his love for his country. The desh mere song in today's episode was heart wrenching. For once I loved what his mom said... When life is a war, he will be victorious.
I am sure the creatives will come up with a better track and screenplay... just couldnt help but share my thoughts no matter how lame or illogical it sounds.
