Hello IPKKND DT!

There have been some issues/talk regarding the Game threads on IPK and so RizArshi conducting a CC to discuss the issue and then I helped by creating a poll to get votes for some of the options we came up with.

Riz shall join us shortly and post the results, etc. :)

Hello MODs,

We the members of IPK forum have discussed this issue and have come to the decision that we would like to have 6/7 other gaming threads running on their own other than the GOTW. I am submitting the list of the games that we would like to play. Hope the MODs will decide in favour of the members. Thanks.

1. Right ya Wrong?

One player shall post a dialogue along with the IPKKND character who said it. The others players will not have to figure out if that dialogue was ever said in the show and if that character given was the one to say it.

Example:

Player 1: "I love you just the way you are." said Akash.

Player 2: Dialogue was said, but by Arnav not Akash on Arnav and Khushi's first date.

And so on...

2. Yaadein (Memories)

One player will post a noun (person, place or thing) and then the other players will post how that noun draws memories with some part of IPKKND. A few players can respond to the same noun before a new noun is posted.

Example:

Player 1: Books

Player 2: When Khushi gifted Arnav a book on how to fix cars for his and La's engagement.

And so on...

3. Antakshri

Player one will post something related to IPKKND(dialogue, phrase, word, name, etc) and then the another player will follow by posting something else, but it must start with the last letter of the previous post. *An alteration of this game can be played with ArHi VMs from YouTube.

Example:

Player 1: Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon

Player 2: Nand Kishore

Player 3: "Ek do teen..."

And so on...

4. IPKKND-Bollywood Fusion

One player will either post a picture of a moment from IPKKND or describe that moment, then another player shall post song lyrics to go with the image/description along with the next image/description. An alteration to this game is using movie names instead of song lyrics. *Also for foreign members English songs may be used.

Example:

Player 1: Image or Description of Arnav hooking Khushi's payal onto her foot.

Player 2: "Pairon mein bandhan hai, payal ne machaya shor..."

And so on...

5. IPKKND Twisted

One player will post a image or a detailed description of a scene (images are more preferred for this game though) and then another player will post dialogues as a reply. However they cannot be dialogues from that scene, the dialogues can be used from another time in IPK or completely new dialogues.

Example:

Player 1: (image) Arnav walking forward while Khushi walks backwards.

Player 2: "Hum aapko nahi jaane denge, Arnavji!" (I won't let you go, Arnav!)

"Move, Khushi. I need to used the toilet! It's urgent."

And so on...

6. Sentence by Sentence

One player will start by posting a single sentence that can be the start of a short story and then another player shall post another sentence that continues the preceding one and so on.

Exmaple:

Player 1: Arnav enters their room only to recieve the greatest shock of his life.

Player 2: His eyes widen as they take in Khushi's unconscious form as she clutches a file.

And so on...

7. Koffee with Karan - IPKKND Isstyle!

One player will chose an IPKKND character as player one, then another player shall ask a question directed towards the character, and now a few responses will be given by other players on behalf of the characters before the next character is chosen. (Try sticking to said character's personality as much as possible to make it more interesting!)

Example:

Player 1: Character - Arnav

Player 2: ASR, if someone were to propose to you right this instant what would your reaction be?

Player 3: I would probably respond with a "What the--" then proceed to hold my wife back as she attempted to pull that chudial's (witch's) hair out. *chuckle*

And so on...

8. Name Game

One player with post a something in relation to IPKKND starting with the letter A, the next player will post with the letter B and so on in alphabetical order. But the post must be two or more words and when the current letter is the beginning of each word in the post then the order reverses. When the end of the alphabet is reached you then you may start over.

Example:

Player 1: Arnav Singh Raizada

Player 2: Bauji's Nandkishore

Player 3: Cutting Cakes

Player 4: Bankelal Khushi's Boyfriend

Player 5: Crazy Khushi

Player 6: Dadi's Hand

And so on...

I second RizArshi's post.

The sudden closure of a few actually gaming threads was very discouraging and also withered away the friendships made on some of those threads. However we also understand the need to establish rules yet we hope that these rules may have some flexibility in them.

Another suggestion is that maybe the gaming thread can be started and monitored by DTs or even memebers like RizArshi or myself, who will maintain the rules and not allow the thread to turn in pissing threads, or 'Last person to post loves blank more' thread and so on.

I hope that our extensive efforts and wide response ( to the CC and poll) encourage you to make in a decision favoring us as Riz mentioned.

Hey guys!

We're sorry for the delay in responding to the issue being raised on the games threads.

The DT has decided that we'll let the members have their games BUT it will have to change every alternate week meaning that if there is a game posted on March 17th, 2014, then the game will ONLY be changed and a new game will ONLY be posted on March 31st. This way we ensure that the GOTWs that are stickied are also played and not ignored and that the members in this forum are also happy and satisfied.

Now, for the games threads. At times, the DT has noticed that there are a million threads for just one game, so to change that around, we're making Titaliya_AP and RizArshi the game managers which means that ONLY these two members are ALLOWED to make game threads. Be it a new game or a new thread for the existing game, only the listed members above are allowed to make them. We've made two in case one is missing. If there comes a time when the two are inactive, then the DT will have to informed well in advance and they'll take care of the threads.

Remember that if these conditions are broken or if the DT sees other new games in the forum, then we will be forced to revert from this decision and go back to having no games but the GOTWs in the forum. If we're changing stuff around, then we'd ask everyone to comply to those rules, that's the least we're asking for.

Hoping that everyone is satisfied with the change in rules that we've made. If the two members above are okay with being the games managers then off you guys go, make the new thread for ONE game and play that for two weeks and then change the game after the two weeks are over.

Thank you IPKKND DT for considering our request and for allowing the members to have their own games. I will be glad to be a game manager as long as other members don't have any objection to it. I'll let the members who participated in the discussion know about the DT's decision. Thanks again

^No problem. Please let them know and tell them to come here if they do have concerns regarding the games managers names that we've chosen.

Also, the DT has decided that it is time to now close this thread, so if no one has any more queries, we'd like to close this and start taking individual concerns via PM. So, we're leaving this thread open until March 20th 2014, 9:00 PM IST. After that, Shreya and I are available via PM if anyone has any concerns.
