THIS CC THREAD IS EXCLUSIVELY FOR THE MEMBERS OF IPKKND FORUM

Dear IPKKND forum members,

All of you are aware that about a month ago the official GOTW (Game Of The Week) was reopened in the forum and because of this all other active game threads were closed by the IPK DT. This decision disappointed many members and some decided to leave the forum. The traffic of the forum reduced considerably. This issue was discussed with the IPKKND DT and they suggested us to provide them with a list of 6/7 games which do not give rise to any kind of competition. DT will consider allowing those games to be played along with the GOTW once we submit the list of the games to them.

So I am here to ask for your input in this matter. Kindly share your game idea here so that it can be shared with the IPKKND forum's DT.

Our Options

There will be only GOTW in the forum and no other games will be allowed
Submit the list of 6/7 games to the IPKKND DT and request them to allow these games to be played along with GOTW
Request the IPKKND DT to allow an ongoing gaming thread without the time limit of a week where members can play all the games listed here by turns as long as they want.

Name: How it reminds you of IPK? (starsarun)Rules: One person will give a clue and next one should tell that how that thing reminds you of IPKExample: Book - It reminds me of Gift By Khushi to Arnav before his engagement with La. Then Next one should also post clue.
Name: Who said this?Rules: One person will post a dialogue and the next person will have to guess who said the dialogue Example: Kuch kuch hota hain mamiji aap nehi samjhengiNext person: Khushi
Name: The Last LetterRules: The first person will post an IPK dialogue and the next person will have to post a dialogue starting with the last letter of the dialogue posted by the first person.Example: Player 1: Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam DoonPlayer 2: NKPlayer 3: Khushi Kumari GuptaPlayer 4: ASR

Name: Kofee with the Raizadas/Guptas/Jhas (dmg123)Rules: A character from IPK will be chosen by the first player. Next person will ask a question to the character and others will answer the question on behalf of the character. Once the 1st question is answered, a second question can be asked by the next personExample: Character chosen: ArnavQuestions: Mr. Arnav Singh Raizada, if someone proposed to you what would your reaction be?Answer: I would be flattered; however, I have found the perect partner to have my Rabba Ve moments with 😉
Name: Fill in the Dialogue (--Amna--)

Rules: The First person will post an incomplete dialogue. And the next person has to complete the dialogue give by the first person.

Example: Player 1: You are __________ Miss. Khushi Kumari Gupta.

Player 2: impossible

I'm extremely busy in the real world right now, but I check IF regularly just in case things come up, things that I may want to have a say in like this.

Being a part of a thread that started out as Antakshri: IPKKND Style and then soon evolved into a continuously changing (in terms of games and rules) and active thread. One thread soon turned into five.

All the games we played on that thread were open to everyone, enjoyable, laid back, and fun - especially since we kept things fresh by changing it.

I never played GOTW before when IPKKND was still originally airing, but I'm sure then and now is not the same. I tried encouraging the games by hosting a GOTW, but it just wasn't the same.

So I'm saying that perhaps we should open a general gaming thread. Where the players can enjoy and when they get tired they can collaborate and change up the rules. Of course the should be a sort of main person who would religiously keep the first page up to date.

With the GOTW, one person gives the rules and then you go from there for a week. Also within a couple weeks a game was repeated, whereas in the thread I was a part of, the members tried not to repeat games, once again keeping it fresh. Perhaps a modification of an earlier game, but no repeats. I would know as I was a major contributor to coming up with new games and rules.

Anyways, I feel that a open, modifiable gaming thread should commence. It sounds much more pleasing and interesting. And even if it does ever get boring then it can be changed.

I hope I made a point and made sense.

I agree with you Anjani. But for now we have to submit the list of 6/7 games to the DTs. I think we can always make changes in the games once they become monotonous. Making changes to the games make them more interesting and I don't think the DTs will have a problem with these changes in the games if we keep the original format intact. You have come up with many ideas in the past and I hope that you'll give us some good ideas this time too.

The only thing that DTs want is that the games should not give rise to any competition.

I don't think any of our past games we competitive and so I'll try coming up with some more and maybe bring a few old ones back? :)

Sure. I did mention this to the DTs and that's one of the reasons they agreed to reconsider their decision. We are definitely gonna get some of our old games back.

its a great idea and welcoming change from DT and thank to you for it
