You say not to ask you what this update was all about? Well, let me just tell you that this update was exactly what was needed at this point in time with Arnav and Khushi getting to know each other as well as enjoying this very new and exciting phase in their relationship.

I absolutely loved the teasing that went on between Arnav and Khushi. The junglee reference had me cracking up and Arnav flirting with his hazel is always a rather welcome and pleasant reading experience. The kiss was orchestrated beautifully Manz! *sighs Looks like our junglee Arnav managed to fluster our innocent hazel quite well and what followed only highlighted their attraction and chemistry brilliantly.

The serene and peaceful moment they shared when Arnav quite leisurely made himself comfortable in Khushi's lap and spoke to her about family and their time together was just perfection! I am craving for more already Manz, bring it on whenever you can! ;)

Loved the scene of perfect domesticity in the kitchen.

Khushi and Arnav's relationship seems to have progressed in leaps and bounds.

Their comfort level has increased.

Loved how Khushi teased him about the length of his hair.

And then Arnav might be unknowingly to himeself waiting for a particular someone with whom he could come and live at the farmhouse.

Now I'm waiting yo see how they take their relationship forward.

This was exceptionally beautiful. I absolutely loved each and every emotion of them both that you have portrayed so well!They are getting comfortable with each other and Khushi is getting more confident about the relationship. Looking forward to more...

Oh my no wonder you had problem writing this one

This was hard for sure

Khushi letting her emotions out like that

And finally she did

Arnav could see that though he is with her she still hasn't opened up to him

But she did that

And the way it all came tumbling out

Her blaming herself for her dad inability to love her

Give her the time and love she needed

That too when her mother was no more

It was hard for her to say it but she had to

Or else she would never open up to him

But after she said it all she was worried about his reactions

But course she need not have worried

He is told her he respects and love her more with the way she has kept herself strong even with the way her life in panned out

And yes I hope she doesn't shut him out anymore

Only then can she heal like she did to arnav

The dedication you have shown this story is amazing, Manreet. Despite it being so difficult for you to write, you've never given up- and you always give us the most wonderful updates. I can only imagine how much you put into this, but I am so grateful that you've taken the time to share your words with us. They're truly therapeutic.

I think this entire chapter was incredibly powerful- especially Khushi's memories. I don't have a favorite line, because I honestly couldn't pick. However, I do have to say that this line: "Papa was just so self-absorbed in his world, that nothing I ever did was successful in reaching out to him. Even with my psychology training, the qualification and career which I only ever pursued for him, for his health, his betterment... after all that I still failed Arnav... I still failed to save my family..."- truly resonated with me, and I think that it will for a lot of people. Not necessarily because I failed to save my family, or anywhere near the magnitude of what Khushi went through- my family is amazing, and wonderful, and I love them dearly- but that fear of disappointing the people you love most is something everyone can relate to, and you've illustrated that beautifully.

Hats off to you, Manreet. Please keep writing- You truly do have a gift.
