Episode-213

Arnav's room is not his any more. When he enters his room after coming back from office, a wind chime on the threshold welcomes him. he is flummoxed to see the interior, which is now embellished with fairy lights, stars. His bed is also parted with two bed sheets, one side is pink and other side is white. Frustration suffuses his face to see the anarchy in his room. Khushi has almost established her entity in his life. Till he can digest this drastic change khushi comes there with her effervescent smile. She came to know about his arrival, that's why she hung the ghanti on the door. So she will come to know every time he comes.

"how do you like the bell and the where I should hang the star?"

The colorful wind chime and the stars in her hand acerbate him. She wanted to hang it straight over the bed, but there is no provision there.

"khushi what are you trying to do?"

Khushi doesn't ponder his question and moves away to fix Salman Khan poster which is coming out from the wall.

"what the hell" he can't just finish at "what the", cause a half bare Salman Khan poster in his room enrages him.

"this is salman khan."

"I know, but what it is doing here?" he infuriates.

"he is my most favorite actor, didn't you see his dance move?'

She shows him Salman Khan's signature dance move.

"are you gone crazy? What are you trying to do?"

Chipaknaki koshis kar rahi hai. Trying to attach it. Don't you see? For next six months this half room, half, poolside, half bathroom is mine."

She shows him what is his side and what is hers.

"according to this, this side is mine. But where you will sleep" She sits on the bed.

He moves closer to her, what quickens her heart beat. He leans to her and picks his blanket.

"never mind."

When he walks towards the poolside, khushi calls him back to give his pillow. He snatches the pillow from her hand and gives her a glacial stare. khushi is exultant; she passes a flying kiss to Salman khan. Sitting comfortably on the bed, she mutters,

"Laad governor poolsidepe, aur khushi kumari gupta kamre mei, almari aur, bistar humara hua, aur age age dekhiye ki hota hai kya."

(laad governor is by the poolside and KKG is inside the room. The closet and bed are mine and watch, what is coming up next?)

She winks and picks her notebook, certainly contriving more schemes.

Next morning by the poolside Arnav wakes up by the sound of astrology on the he winces in pain when he tries to move. Where inside the room, khushi is sitting comfortably on the bed, eating chana and watching astrology with Laxmi.

"laad governor ki shandar palangse aramse sona, ho giya. Laad governor ki TV pe rashi bhavisha dekhna, ho giya."

(sleep on laad governor's nice bed comfortably; done. Watch astrology on his TV, done.)

She is marking everything in her notebook.

Arnav can't straighten his neck because of the sprain. He puckers his face due to pain.

khushi gets scared to see him coming,

"laxmiji lagtahe graha achanak badal raha hai."

(it seems suddenly the star has started to change it's direction)

"what"

"suprabhat." (good morning)

He is livid why the volume of TV is so loud and what Laxmi is doing in his room? She is watching astrology with Laxmi and the volume is high because of her; she is not sure whether the sound reaches to Laxmi's ear properly or not. Arnav tells her to lower down the volume and listen to his words carefully that next time if she will. Khushi doesn't let Arnav finish and recriminates him disdainfully.

"lower down the volume, or you also will not hear properly like Laxmi. Your intellect is like her and probably your hearing power is also like her."

Khushi exasperates at his insolence. He again tells her to lower down the volume and hides the remote under the comforter. When Khushi can't find the remote, he tells him to turn off the TV by hand.

ASR also becomes child like Khushi when he is with her.

Khushi goes to turn off the TV and he strides towards the bathroom fast. Khushi also scurries fast to catch him, but she misses for a second. She starts to bang the bathroom door in anger. He did beimani with her. He turns on the water so that he doesn't have to listen to her prattle. But she is valiant; she says that he can't make her stop. She smiles mischievously, concocts some plan. She goes to the poolside and turns off the water line. Poor Arnav, he is already lathered by the soap, gets baffled how to clean without water. He starts to scream HP. Khushi jibes,

"what happened? Tell me, I'm your patni, it's my kartavya to madat you."

"did you turn off the water?"

"could be"

"do you know what are you doing?'

"you cheated me. I just turned off the water."

She is mad cause he tricked her. She wants him to come out right now. Arnav's anger is pulsating, she can do whatever she wants, but he will not come out. She is also inexorable; she will not turn on the water. So Arnav had to render. She wants him to get out from the bathroom in one minute and from tomorrow she will go to the bathroom first. He doesn't have any choice, but accept her proposal.

"aur namratase aap ko anurodh karna hoga ki hum pani chalade."

(And you have to plead me acquiescently that I turn on the water.)

"What rubbish!"

He doesn't have any choice but to endure her hegemony. He asks to her to turn on the water. Khushi wants to play with his ego now. she tells him that she is not listening anything, her hearing power and brain both are like Laxmi.

"plz pani chala do." He pleads, but apparently not so meekly.

yeh huyi na baat."

She shows her delight and anger by banging on the door. Khushi starts her countdown. When he doesn't come out by her countdown, he hobbles fast towards the bathroom intend to fight. But Arnav is already out and she bumps with him. Her contact with his bare torso perturbs her. All her boldness evaporates in a jiffy; she moves away to swallows a rising wave of emotions.

"Don't you dare switch off the water again." He warns her with a baiting tone.

Khushi still can't get out of the affect of her touch with his bare body. When Arnav sees that she is still standing there, he tells her why she is not going to the bathroom, or is she waiting for the astrologer's instruction for the muharat?

Khushi goes inside the bathroom, still lost in the affect of his touch. Suddenly she thinks that Arnav can turn off the water line. She comes out quickly and admonishes him to turn off the water. Arnav is also in playful mood,
"what if I turned off the power already!"

She starts to scream loud. Anjali comes there to hear her earsplitting shriek.

Tilchatta, cuckroach."

Anjali tells Arnav to go and check, but she is surprised to see his tilted neck.

"Oh just sprain. Yesterday night." He can't complete, what he will say! Anjali tells them to come down as the breakfast is ready.

Khushi says in an imperative tone to turn on the water immediately.

He goes inside the bathroom and turns on the faucet.

"tumhari tarah cheap nahi hoon mein.'

khushi resents at his insolent words. she screams, cockroach.

Arnav doesn't see any cockroach. But khushi is incorrigible; she swears that there is a big cockroach on the mirror. Arnav looks at the mirror and understands her banter, she addressed him cockroach. khushi frowns and smiles mischievously.

Uff what a sexy cockroach!

Arnav is flagrant now; he wants her not to show her face whole day today. She is also frantic, blows her hair from her forehead to show her anger. Aww how adorable is Mrs. Cockroach! She strides fast in anger, but slips on the soap. And her knight in shining armor holds her in his robust arms right then. She also snakes her hand around his neck comfortably as if they want to remain like this for eternity. For a moment the rancor evanesces. They became lost in each other eyes. His sense invades by her touch, her warmth and khushi's resolution to annoy him dissipates for a moment. He gazes at her face with his eyes agleam with love for a brief moment, before sobering up in an attempt to dispel the uncomfortable, unnerving awkwardness between them. He lets her go after a while. He leaves, but khushi is still in perturbation.

Anjali is arranging red roses in the vase. Khushi comes there and wishes to do the work. She thinks Anjali should take rest. Anjali asks her about her exuberance. Though she replies nothing special, but mutters herself that she is happy cause, she defeated laad governor today. She says that she loves red roses a lot, and so as Anjali.

While descending down from the stairs, Arnav notices that shyam is ogling Khushi lasciviously. His eyes blaze a suppressed anger erupts inside him like lava. Shyam veers his look to see Arnav's angry glare.

Mami joins them in the breakfast table. But she is flummoxed to see Arnav's tilted neck. Is it a new ishtyle? Anjali tries to say yesterday night, but mami is ambiguous, "ratma kya." Shyam seems anticipated something; he knows about their sleeping arrangement.

Khushi sits down beside Arnav and quips,

"Daba de aapka gala."

Mami taunts him, "I saw hanging gardan in Mumbai."

Khushi laughs and when she serves him food, he rebukes her with gritted teeth,

I told you don't show your face whole day today."

"Then turn around your face. Oh I forgot you can't turn your face in the other direction." Khushi says in a quick repartee, adds fuel in the fire.

Aman calls and Arnav is mad because some clients didn't pay. He thinks they are behaving like thieves.

"Unhone udhar liya hai to chukana parega. We are not beggars but still."
khushi's face turn pale to hear this, cause she also borrowed 300 rupees from him.

Arnav intends to go to office without having breakfast. Anjali tells Arnav to eat breakfast. But Arnav is not liking to have breakfast with khushi, who is driving him crazy. he prefers to eat outside or in the canteen.

"But canteen is closed today." Arnav is bewildered, how she knows!

"Our spy is every where around." She smiles sweetly.

Khushi is in embroilment, she didn't return his money yet. She starts to hiccup in tension.

Arnav sees that shyam receives a bouquet of red roses. He recollects that Khushi told her fondness of red roses. His anger pulsates. He follows Shyam, who goes to a room to keep the roses. When he comes out they confront. Shyam feigns that he didn't see him. Arnav wishes to beat him black and blue, but controls his anger. he tries to berate him with gritted teeth, "I gave you last chance...now she is my..." but shyam doesn't let him complete. He tries to coax him with Subreption. Shyam requests him to come with him. He takes him to the store room where he decorated a cradle with rose petals.

"There was shortage of roses, so I got it from outside. i did it from my unborn princess. You probably forgot that your sister also loves roses. I was doing this to surprise her. if you suspect me, then I can't change your thought"

Arnav knows he is dissimulating, but leaves without saying anything. Shyam mutters,

"From next time, you will think what I'll make you think. I will make you believe that I've changed. And the day you believe this, I'll fight back like this mai aisa waar karenge ki apke hosh uud jayege, saale sahab"

He grimaces devilishly.

my most favorite song and it's made only for Arnav and Khushi

Episode 234

A disgruntled cute ASR. I never thought I would see him in this disheveled state. Messy hair, tie askew, sleeves rolled up, salty droplets travelling down the sharp lines of his face brushed away with impatience. While we stare at him, he looks around the room. Finally the meeting with his arch nemesis.. the man he can never measure upto or so Khushi thought. One fine day she will replace the photo with a man much dearer to her. For now .. Salman khanji. Aah the eye roll.. He averts his eyes. Does he get a feeling it is personal to Khushi? But then again this is his khushi. He has all the right to see. Strange that after all that these two have been through together this is the first time he can take respite and get a glimpse of the girl and how she lived. Eyes travel to another wall and this time try as he might he can't control, the now legendary, sinful curving of those lips. Again looks away but something has registered the innocent dreams of love that this girl had. Maybe the poster on the wall in his room now holds a significance much dearer than before.

While the distracted tycoon struggles to turn his attention back to work, buaji and aunty peep into their daughter's room. Hesitant to approach the still distant and almost fearful son-in-law. But his insistent "buaji" ? Not sure what it is all about yet considerate or plain curious? Somewhere deep down he experiences the love these people are showing him and that brings out the politeness. It will take some eye opening words from Khushi to make his conscious self realize how hard and earnestly the Gupta family is trying to embrace him with open arms, but for now his subconscious self feels it for sure.

Carefully laid out comedy of errors in play. Unsuspecting he walks out to meet the AC wala, but what the? The smiling women waiting for the muh dikhayi of Khushi bitiya's extremely good looking pati. Khushi in her best loving new wife behaviour starts the introductions. He looks up at "ye humare wo hai" .. kishan kanhaiya..sakshat nand kishore.. Vimala mausi, Taiji, pata nai Lata getting to let our favourite man know what all the taiji's, bahu's, saheliyan all over the world feel for him. Did Arnav bitwa just get shy with all the compliments? Is that why he wants to leave? "ye thore sharmile kisim ke hai".. never thought i would hear these words for the dashing ruthless handsome ASR..

"Roop toh hai par parha likha hai ki nai?".. a lot like us saying, it not just the striking face but the sheer unimaginable qualities of talent that make us crazy about this actor who makes this character come alive.. oh Barun Sobti how did you manage that look? That inflection while saying, "MBA kiya hai.. Harvard se", in a voice as if he is explaining something to a 2 year old. Definitely not the usual ASR voice. Can never ever be the voice of just another guy yet somehow more down to earth. "Haridwar!". Defintiely not the reaction he was aiming for. He can't take the comparison to some nobody these ladies are talking about. A quick glance at his wife. Will she come to save the day for him today? No you are on your own Harvard boy. This whole situation hysterically funny yet the Harvard bitwa (I so love this name !) returned trying his best to sort it our with his usual common sense. "Chain of industries". Alas there are some things which even Harvard doesn't prepare you for.

Neat camera trick while the happy old lady advances towards the boy whose expression borders on alarm with each passing microsecond. The super lucky old woman gets to kiss him. umm on the forehead. Very real this giving of money by elder. It happens in my house all the time. And we also come to know the actual person who taught Khushi all about charming husbands with Chandni chowk ka best itr 😆. "bitiya ko khush rakhoge na?" In answer a grumbling adorable "never" or "whatever" I couldn't be sure. Khushi steps in firmly. "itna khush ki sab dekhte reh jayenge" Already a foreshadowing of the touching scene between the mother and her daughter. "satho janam" leads to beguiling panic on both faces. They had forgotten all this is temporary. When did it all become so much fun? When did it all become so easy? When did it all become perfect? When did it all become just the way they would want to live their life hamesha?

Now familiar beautiful music is heard. Their steps towards each other. Crossing. Stopping. Turning. Rabba ve whirling. Their expressions talking. Essential IPK..

Akash and Payal's scene gets me thinking.. Just one month into the marriage for both the couples.. unbelievable! While one continues with the expected notions of gifts and smiles the other continue like they have. From the first day they set eyes on each other there were insults .. there were tears .. wild emotions .. unrestrained love .. and the unparalleled sense of belonging.

For once IPk has a side actor who is acting well... the lucky old lady who got to pull the beloved damadji's cheek gleefully exclaims seeing the new AC. 5 year purana Cooler dev soon to be threatened by the brand new AC devi. Another new loves story in the making..hehehe

Maybe it is the feeling of owning the other person that causes Arnav the oversight. Overstepping of boundaries because there haven't been any ever between these two. On teej when his hand had risen on his own accord to wipe away the irritation. On janmashtami she would trick him to bring laad governor to nand kishore. He will pay her father's hospital bill. His boring party is where she will add her chatpata flavors. Always this disregard of personal space. A simple action as standing together and you couldn't help not notice how impossibly close they would stand. How deeply and for unnatural lengths of time would they stare at each other. There was never a question of tumhara or mera.. long back it had become humara..

So when Khushi asks him about his new purchase he does not catch on why she is upset. Maybe a vague thought that they may mind him spending. But he is wilting in the heat so decided to get an AC. As simple as that. "bas karni hai" had said our man of action that day. It is just an AC whats the big deal are his thoughts today. But he forgot these are self respecting people. Not just Khushi but there are other members in this house. Buaji with her crystal clear conscience will not pretend like everything is fine when she is hurt. And Arnav immediately understands that they are upset. Asks the workers to mind their own business and stands there with an air of helplessness. He hadn't meant for things to go this way.

Amma tries to be understanding "Unka humare rehen sehen ki aadat nai hai".. But the over smart worked speaks again.. "Apke sabun aur towel." Bubua tries damage control but all three women in the room are definitely hurt by this. And then buaji with her magnanimous heart says a very very sweet line "tum jaise khush raho humko toh usmi mein khushi hoi" ..

Khushi follows her family. Feeling all their hurt not sure what to do about it. Wise Garima reminds Khushi about changes in the Raizada household for their own bahuriya. Inadvertently it opens up another much deeper hurt. The night he unceremoniously for no valid reason discernible discarded her from his life. She returns to the room still upset, deep in reverie of the awful night. All the chot she has been trying so hard to fight. The sadness which tended to throttle her had been painstakingly pushed away in the attempts to disrupt Arnav's life. And just like that I am sympathizing with Khushi again.

Arnav still stands looking concerned and fretful. His ill-humor, frustration was all for his wife not her family. Again IPK depicts this very normal real life problem and depicts it with heartwarming clarity and sincerity as well. Such is the delicate relation of a new son-in-law or daughter-in-law and the in-laws that it doesn't take to much to disbalance it. The relationship when new is extremely fragile, but as you get closer the bond strengthens. As a result of all these moments we' ll see Arnav and these mother like figures in his life share an unmistakable bond. The people and the place will bring him respite and a strong sense of belonging. The gupta house will soon become his favourite vacation spot. It is a journey in its own right worth making for Arnav bitwa.

Only days earlier had the feisty girl insisted that everything belonged in equal share to her as her husband. Now the sudden realisation that the same is true vice versa as well. His toiletries, laptop, files, Ac (and somewhere the handy bluetooth) all part of her little world now. These are mere material possessions, the entire ASR aura has infiltrated Khushi's being. Even her own song has a little what the in it..

So much misunderstanding.. how can she not see he has nothing but respect for elders? And worse how can he not see the pure heart she has.. hai re nand kishore ab ka kari inka. She wants to teach the common ways of life to the boy who lost everything on one tragic night. To a boy who must have battled god knows what to provide for his only remaining family. And the boy who after all that struggle emerged victorious or did he? Doesn't every war pass on its burden to the soldiers who fought in it? Has Arnav Singh Raizada ever been free from the turmoil of that night and its repurcursions? Isn't everything he does an attempt to not fall into the mediocrity of a common man's life or maybe even worse. His insistence that paisa is everything is because he has lived a life where paisa was important because of how hard it must have been been to obtain.

Few strings of new lively music herald the arrival of the night we have all been waiting for. Obviously he can't sleep on the same bed as his wife. Too much self control needed 😆. Funny that the boy objects and the girl still hasn't given it much thought. Uff ye comfort ko kya naam de? Never have I liked those filthy sneaky animals so much as this night. Did Khushi mention all this to have him near? Will we ever know? Can we only dream?

Greedy mosquitoes only wanting the sweet Raizada boy's blood. Oh the cute completely baffled Arnav and the over zealous kartavya pura karne wali Khushi. Why is she trying so hard to kill the damn mosquitoes feasting on her mouth watering Arnavji. The faithful AC has been switched on and the less faithful electricity has decided to leave these two crazy ajeeb lovers alone.. can't wait for the ambrosial bedtime to arrive..

Oh my Arnav bitwa kahan phas gya??? This is my most favorite scene in the whole episode "the MoonhDikhaye". I love him getting nervous and shy in front of the chachis and massis. He is own his own this time to tackle the crazy ladies, Khushi won't help him as she has taken oath to enjoy her stay and irritated becharey chotte in her territory AKA Sanki KKG world.
Truly Di he possess unimaginable qualities and this gives him a biggest share of making ASR alive, Only he could be ASR, bus.
Yes Harvard didn't give him lessons that how and when to listen to the heart which is very much alive and active and feel love neither he could get lectures on how to converse, even have a small talk with his in laws and guests. But how he even predict that all happenings as he used to believe that he always right his destiny . He didn't planed a girl falling in his arms who will break the walls around his heart and will quite seep in to it, neither marriage was a part of his future. Fate did it all and shake his believes, now he has to accept it and he is learning it but in a tough way because he isn't making it easier too.
No matter if he even told his huge income of a month that won't even get in the minds of the simple and innocent people. Because money never matters for them. They love Khushi a lot and the thing which is important is that is he treating their dearest chulbuli daughter like a princess. Money was never a question because even Arnav gives it answers that money always matter they won't get it.

Neat camera trick while the happy old lady advances towards the boy whose expression borders on alarm with each passing microsecond. The super lucky old woman gets to kiss him. umm on the forehead. Very real this giving of money by elder. It happens in my house all the time.
Taking money from elders is always exciting. Me and my sibling eagerly wait for the occasions like Eid to demand money from elders as our right, festivals and rasams have it's own charm.

And we also come to know the actual person who taught Khushi all about charming husbands with Chandni chowk ka best itr 😆. "bitiya ko khush rakhoge na?" A simple question but a tough one for ASR to answer. But he doesn't need to answer because he can't act that he is honor to make Khushi happy as he isn't a master of making others happy by fake wide smile and happiness. This time Khushi came to help him out because the people around meant a lot for Khushi and only she knew that perfect answer to satisfy their quaking gazes and hearts.
When did it all become so much fun? When did it all become so easy? When did it all become perfect? When did it all become just the way they would want to live their life hamesha?

The above lines are splendid, love them. Their hearts don't know any limits that why nothing ever matters.

So when Khushi asks him about his new purchase he does not catch on why she is upset. Maybe a vague thought that they may mind him spending. But he is wilting in the heat so decided to get an AC. Bubua tries damage control but all three women in the room are definitely hurt by this. And then buaji with her magnanimous heart says a very very sweet line "tum jaise khush raho humko toh usmii mein khushi hoi" ..
They are hurt, Khushi is used to it but not her family and she isn't going to bear it and soon Arnav is going to have to have an earful from Khushi on adjustment and life style of middle class people. I love buaji line in the end, parents are always happy with the happiness of their children. They have no intention to make their damaadji uncomfortable and upset.

Khushi follows her family. Feeling all their hurt not sure what to do about it. Wise Garima reminds Khushi about changes in the Raizada household for their own bahuriya. Some wounds always give pain, they are never meant to be heal and they always shows the bitter truth just like that awful night when she became a Singh Raizada, shows her isli Zindagi where their is dard and sadness, where dreams broke and there is no such thing as a knight in shine Armor Prince. I feel sad for Khushi. Kyun dard hai itna terey ishq main

👏 👏 👏 He will get another family who will love him unconditionally, more over he will experience the warm and love by the women of the household and rightfully helped them out from their daily problems like a son and in no time his bind will everyone will be get stronger and firm.

I love the above lines, they have perfectly describe the long tiring journey of Arnav to the tycoon ASR. I think nobody has ever thought about Arnav like this and took steps to end his restlessness and curing, soothing away the wounds of that torturous night which changed his life with in moment. Everyone is concern about Arnav as Anjali one said that she is watching him getting lost somewhere and Naniji too said him that he going very fast than his capability and in wrong direction. Khushi too is aware about it and only she has the himmat to say Arnav anything and show him the real picture of his life, just like La once said. And Arnav can not stop her because some where deep down he want someone to find him but he is too stubborn to acknowledge it. He thought that money will end his pain, will give happiness and fade away the unrest if he will see his family happy but it didn't happened. Khushi is right Paisa sab kuch nahin hai, Bhagwan nahin hai. Fate played a cruel game with him.

Even Mosquitos couldn't get away from his deathly charming looks and decides to have a feast of his kurwa(bitter) blood.😆
Oh the cute completely baffled Arnav and the over zealous kartavya pura karne wali Khushi. Why is she trying so hard to kill the damn mosquitoes feasting on her mouth watering Arnavji. 😉The faithful AC has been switched on and the less faithful electricity has decided to leave these two crazy ajeeb lovers alone.. can't wait for the ambrosial bedtime to arrive..

Fantastic writeup Di.
Though every night is special for Arhi but this one is different. They will share bed and it's surprising that Arnav will give his consent so easily, what else could he do he has to carry the charade of happy couple. Who cares as far we are getting arhi moments everything else is fine. It's times for some Cricketwa and some taek wondo fighting.
Rest of the comments are up.

Note: It is THAT time "what if I had lost you" on the reruns, a pivotal exchange outburst from asr . When this episode was discussed on our threads last year, I was on India trip and missed all the chat. This being one of my most favs, I couldn't help pen down a few thoughts. Sharing it here.

"Lukhnow jaa rahe hai hum... hamesha ke liye".. she was almost vengeful in saying that.. for all the abrasive words he hurled at her ever since they met.. a thunderbolt hit his head .. a dry pain shot in his insides. No telltale sign why he was feeling what he was feeling for this girl whom he repeatedly shunned off. He only knew one thing that he couldn't let her go.. ..all he could mutter as he felt air sucked out him.. "tum aise nahi jaa sak..".. "Khushi". He would scream almost in desperation. No he can not afford to lose her! Her words would reverberate in his head for days to come... that would wake him up middle of the night raving her name. She is gone ..some where that throbs him deep.
Inadvertently he would look for her every where knowing well " tum nahi ho .. kahin nahi ho" but a gust of wind dribbles and croons "tum yaheen ho .. yaheen kaheeni ho". And indeed asr aur uski tanayee most serendipitously would find her in his own room.. closet..a cozy little space in that mansion that is his very PERSONAL OWN!

He vouched NOT to let anyone into that intimate vicinity again...not to let anyone make him vulnerable again ..not to let love, an ardent fervor that decimated both his parents, reign supreme over him!

A gasp of relief.. in a fleeting moment he is inundated in a conglomeration of emotions... relief, victorious, disbelief, anger that she is safe and sound, that she is not vanquished, that she could be so causally engaged in a trivial negotiation with a vendor middle of the night without any inkling to what he is going through ...

Did you have to be reminded "don't you ever do this to me"? Didn't you know I would go bonkers to deranged if you didn't get back home on time...why Khushi.. why.. how could you do this to me .. how could you be so callous.. isn't my visceral pain evident?" ... he seemed to exude..

Shaking her vigorously he would vent all his bridled distress.. his most guarded secret.. his mannat ki chabi without paying any heed to what he was doing, who was listening around...with only an insurmountable need for this girl.. as if... he cannot comprehend how another day would dawn without sinking in that loss.. as if he concedes how this bitter pill would choke him to end...as if he is frantically admitting to his dependency on her.. as if he has NO means to evade her loss!

Laying his innermost fears bare .. and a heart that beats for her.. and only for her..as arnav singh raizada's odyssey from loss to love nears its apex... He exclaimed confessing his love ..."what if I had lost you"???

Who said a love confession says "I love you" ??

Horizon,

Thank you so so much for bringing this here. Felt good reading it again. I would have quoted but I didn't not only because I am on phone but also that there is nothing that I liked specifically and needed to be marked. That's because I loved the whole thing. 😊

The way you described all those instances in the past came connected to the current situation is superb. 👏 And that Silsila song, Uff... You set the tune for this beautiful piece. That music playing in my mind as I kept reading.

Yes you are right, this is nothing short of a confession. :-)

If you don't mind I am adding this to the blaster takes under the relevant episode. 😃

this is a lovely one, indu...rich with emotion and intuition... i loved reading it and remembering the many ways he said to her, i love you. loss, you are right, is at the core of it all. loss of a loved one, a complete forever kind of loss... that life gives him a chance to assuage that sense of loss and fill his world again... such a beautiful thing.

he confessed again and again and when he said "i love you", she knew something was the matter, because maybe she did hear those confessions again and again too.

@Horizon - I have to agree with Durga. I just can't decide which lines I liked most. Really really loved all the moments you brought out ⭐️⭐️⭐️. From not being able to sleep thinking he would not see her again, to finding her in his own closet! Bet it always reminded him of that day whenever he opened the closet. His heart must have thanked devi maiyya secretly everyday for bringing her back.
Loved the last line. Though the way he added the dammit actually made the final confession unsurpassable but with all the prior moments I wasn't even thinking of ever hearing those words out loud. Already there was enough declaration in each and every action. And those lines from the song.. "Tum nahin ho... Tum yahi kahin ho.." Beautiful Horizon.. Gave me goosebumps reading..

Gorgeous!

Khushi's new battle is going on in full swing. She promised to take the bull by the horns, her unquenchable positivity and courage determined to vandalize the peaceful life style of the martinet, ASR. She has planned to abrade Arnav in every possible way, so that he willingly tells Khushi to leave him . What a beginning 👏 ..

The war has incepted from the morning. Arnav has come back from his morning jog. Obviously he will use the bathroom now. Hearing his footstep, Khushi starts to stroll towards the bathroom; she will not let him use the bathroom first. As soon as Arnav holds the knob of the bathroom door, she also holds it. Arnav rankles, he will go first. But khushi wants to go first. She sneezes on his face. He turns his face around and tells her in an imperative tone, His home wardrome was very nice and stylish don't you think?

"khushi I'm getting late for office. And this house is mine, this room is mine and so as this bathroom."

"This is also my house." Khushi retorts back.

"What do you mean by your house, Khushi kumari Gupta?"

"singh Raizda." She shows him her mangalsutra. He realizes, he himself brought this musibaat in his life. Khushi is recalcitrant. She tells him, for half of the year, she owns half of the house, half of the room and half of the bathroom. He doesn't care; if she is in hurry then she can use other bathroom. Khushi is no less smart; she tells him casually what she will answer the family members that husband and wife can't use the same bathroom! Then she will be compelled to tell the family that the marriage is a contract marriage of six months. Arnav is about to enter the bathroom, but turns back to hear her threat,

"You are not doing any such thing. Do you understand?"

Khushi wants an honest decision, imandari se faisla, who can first go to the bathroom from a particular spot, will use the bathroom first. But Arnav is not interested in his imandari game. He goes to the bathroom without pondering her idea. Khushi gets mad, and thinks to torture him.

I'm amused, Khushi wants to use the bathroom with her husband, may be a shower together or a warm bath in the Jacuzzi!. I know the bathroom is really ugly, but I can assume their bathroom is really lavish. 😆😆

"aaj mausam hai suhana

Kapde dhone ka hai bahana

lalalalalala

Kya dhoop nikli suhani,

Hogayi kapdo ki safai,

Lalalala

Hum so hai deewane

What the what the what the."

Hearing her loud singing, Arnav comes out from the bathroom immediately. He sees that Khushi is washing her clothes in the pool.

"aree wah, you finished your bath so quick!"

what are you doing?" he is frantic

"circket klel rahi hoon. Can't you see." She shows him the bat with what she was cleaning the clothes.

Arnav infuriates, why she is washing her clothes here, where there is washing machine in the house. Khushi refutes, she can't spoil the gota on her clothes by washing it in machine. Or moreover it's very sunny here, so the clothes will dry fast.

"you are spoiling my pool."

Khushi can't agree with him. she is only using her side of the pool and his side is completely clean. She sits down again to continue washing. When she starts singing again, he berates her to shut up and tells her to get up.

"kya, you will wash the cloth." She is delectable. He rebukes her and tells her to use the bathroom first. Khushi exults her victory. She puts the bat on her shoulder and starts to stride towards the bathroom, singing mausam hai suhana song.

Arnav has lost to his predominant wife. Poor man now is sitting on the chaise waiting for his turn to use the bathroom. But khushi is inexorable today, she wants to irritate him more. She calls him from the bathroom,

"suniye, here is your towel." He goes and grabs it. Again she calls him to get his clothes, then again to take her bat.

"suniye, ok nothing."

What did she want to give her at last, her clothes what she was wearing?

Arnav is in extreme pique. He looks at the clock, he is getting late. ASR BG music ascends to depict his anger.

She sneaks her head from the bathroom, to see the laad governor's irate face. She is looking so cute! Finally she comes out from the bathroom in a perfunctory manner. Arnav comes in front of her, tells her he is getting late. In your edit indeed Sanaya looks extremely adorable

"then go to the bathroom, why are you wasting time by arguing? Or if you are so much in hurry then why don't you go to other bathroom."

"don't act smart with me. I take shower 8 in the morning."

She gets jovial; she also takes shower at 8.

"that's not my problem. You wake up early."

"alright, then deal with my early morning sneeze." She sneezes on his face again.

He starts to say something but becomes congealed by the ethereal beauty drying her wet hair with the towel. For a moment he became oblivious of everything and gets adrift by the beauteous in front of him. khushi senses that he is watching her. She frowns and beckons him what's the matter. lovely description

aa woh, nothing." He is in impediment. Khushi comes closer and sneezes again on his face. He agrees to take shower early from next day. Before he can go in the bathroom, she calls him again.

"suniye."

"aab kya hai."

"I know everybody listen to you and you are incorrigible." Arnav doesn't get her. khushi is also misleading him and inciting his anger. She continues,
Arnav Singh Raizada aur gotewala." She looks at the towel what he was holding.

Arnav sees that he is taking Khushi's gotewala dupatta with him. 🤣

"ek minute, let me tell you, what the." She says grumpily tries to impersonate him. Arnav thinks it's no avail to fight with her. Poor man blurts out his anger on the door. Khushi jerks at the shrill sound of the slamming door. She runs to grab her notebook and writes down

"tareeka number do. Bathroom pe apna raaz. The tempest will devastate laad governor's life by the end of the day. or he will not know how it happened!" she is laughing in exultance. Slowly she is entrenching in his life. Arnav should read the notes one day! And then he can write notes on wife ke dhak dhak barhane ke 100 ways

All are gathered in the breakfast table. After talking a bit with Payal, Khushi starts to sneeze. Arnav looks at her meekly. Payal asks her if she is fine. Khushi tells her that it's so cold outside so; she can't say any more as Arnav glares at her angrily.

"the poolside window was open so I caught cold." She says looking at Arnav. She is about to take some cold dish, Arnav takes it away from her,

"if you have cold then why are you taking cold stuff?" felt a glimpse of Barun in his tone. Or is it a revenge for marring his peaceful life? Interesting observation. Sometimes when he was having fun with Khushi ASR's voice would becomedifferent right? I feel that in his Gupta house interactions as well. less guarded..more Barun..

Anjali joins and Khushi sneezes again. Khushi tells her not to sit with her. Anjali also sneezes, what makes Arnav tensed. Nani tells her to be more careful. I liked this scene. it showed Khushi caring for Anjali very sweetly. On holi Anjali and Khushi had bonded so well. As you had mentioned in your Holi post that Anajali should have kept calling her bhabhi. "Khushiji" was too formal in my opinion.

Payal is at her MIL's service. Mami is suffering from acidity, so she is pacing back and forth in her room. Payal brings fruits and basil tea for her. but mami wants her to taste it first, cause she can't trust her, she already planned to kill her by feeding Arnav's medicine. Awe-inspiring Payal agrees to taste all the food. Before she can taste the tea, Akash comes there; he roils to hear his mother disparagement towards his wife. He wants to taste on behalf of her. mami admonishes him to drink. Akash tastes the tea and the fruits. He tells his mom with annoyance that after eating it he is still ok, so that she can have it; he is going to office and will meet her in the evening. She must take care of her health. Before leaving, he gives payal and comforting nod.

Loved Akash in this scene. Sans hurting his mother he deftly handled her and supported Payal like a loving husband. Way to go Akash bitwa! 👏

Again you caught Khushi looking beeaootiful ..

Arnav is getting ready to go to the office. Khushi comes there and starts to sneeze again.

"if your health is so bad then why aren't you taking medicine."

Khushi sneezes incessantly.

"I know you are doing it deliberately." Arnav quips.

She still sneezes. He rebukes, "stop it god damn it." nice choice of word..rebukes..

"chottey, Khushiji," anajli is calling them. She comes there to take nim and tulsi leaves from the poolside. She wants to mix it with oil to apply on her head. Khushi wants to do it for her. She inveigles to acerbate Arnav more. She intentionally trips on the bag of her clothes. Anjali is flummoxed to see her clothes still in the bag. Arnav turns around, tries to hide his face.

"why is your clothes are still in the bag. You are chottey's wife. You came here not for few days or months but for the whole life."

Arnav perturbs to hear this. Khushi intends to say something, but Anjali stops her and chides Arnav, why he is not sharing his closet with her. He has just recovered from one bout of her torture over the bathroom, now he has to face another. Poor Arnav how can he stay angry with such a crazy par cute wife..

Anjali thinks as all of his shirts are black colored, if he puts it aside, no difference will make. Khushi is smiling mischievously. Haww, enough space! I think his closet is too small. He must have a big dressing room. Arey baba he is a business tycoon and moreover owner of a fashion house. But what to do; our sexy tycoon is not so rich! 😆😆

Such a colorful collage! Khushi would have loved to see all these colors.

Anjali opens his closet to adjust Khushi's clothes there. Arnav seethes, but can't show his anger in front of his di. Khushi runs after Anjali to rub more salt in his wound. She says it's not needed.

"I've told her several times to set her clothes. But she forgets every time " Arnav tries to make it up. I had forgotten he said this..

Khushis assents, but she shows her demur,

"lekin aap hai na yaad dilane ke liye."

To see her humbug, Arnav gives her a contemptuous look.

Khushi enthusiastically brings all her clothes and adjust all in his closet. Now it's time to make room for shoes. But there is no space. Anjali wants to make room for it too.

"jaga bante nahi banyae jate hai, or moreover all are black shoes, so no difference will make."

Anjali wants to remove some of his shoes as well. Once she removes his shoes, Khushi gets her sandals and mojris. She intentionally cleans the dirt of her shoes by looking at him sardonically. She took over almost the whole closet by her clothes, shoes, jholas, chaman prush, chamelika tel etc. he grimaces wryly to see all her cheap stuffs has taken over his designer goods. (I know he doesn't have that much of good clothes, shoes or ties, but let's assume he has plenty.) Oh Sohara if you had your way you would get him everything in the world right!

Anjali is delighted, the perfect closet of a married couple. After marriage a wife and husband shares everything, their life, their space, their time. Khushi thanks Anjali and shows her gratitude to Arnav also.

"Aur jaiga baat ne ke liye apko bhi dhanyabaad."

She thanks him very meekly what rankles him more. He knows very well, it was not gratitude but banter.

Khushi runs to grab her notebook, it's quite a great day for her,

Teesra tarika, unke almari per kabza.

She winks, but stands up in a jolt to hear him, "you stay inside the room today."

Khushis' eyes are popping out at her consecutive win.

"I'm not concerned for you. I just can't take any risk with di and her unborn child."

He leaves for office khushi is frolicking. She hugs herself,

"and the next trick will be a bit later."

In the kitchen, khushi is pasting nim and tulsi for Anjali. Her best friend Laxmi is with her. she is in her monologue, when she used to apply this nim-tulsi-oil on buaji's head she used to love it. bua thinks there is magic in her finger.

"why don't you apply some magic of your finger on me." Shyam comes there with his cagey words. khushi convulses to see him around her. shyam wishes to take the oil to Anjali. Khushi refutes him, she will go by herself.

"Hum just tel mangrahi hai Khushiji, aapka hath nahi."

Khushi embroils to see his debauchery. To punish him, she intentionally drops the pestle on his foot. Shyam winces in pain. Khushi taunts him, Good girl Khushi! He deserves way worse..

forgive me. I wish I didn't hurt you. I'll send the oil to you by hariprakash."

She leaves giving him a loathsome look.

Khushi comes to Anjali's room. Anjali tells her that she sent shyam to look for her. Shyam also comes there at the same time.

"I had to search for Khushi. but finally I found her. Wherever she goes, she is bound to come here. What say Khushiji?"

Shyam's atrocity is embittering Khushi.

When Khushi starts to massage Anjali's head with oil, she closes her eyes in comfort. She wishes not to open her eyes. It seems that there is magic in her hand. Shyam takes this opportunity to ogle khushi lasciviously. remember the scene when Arnav bitwa will talk about the magic in khushi's hand? But, this scene Shyam was disgusting. I have to say Abhaas's expressions were really good..i mean bad..

(I was wishing to take his eyes out. )

"so don't open, just enjoy aramse, itminanse." Shyam says leaning back on the chair comfortably and lurks Khushi shamelessly. Khushi is feeling disgusted at his filthy looks. She doesn't get how to get out from this predicament situation.

Shyam stands up slowly and offers her some napkin. Khushi is so disgruntled that even doesn't want to take anything from his hand. When she intends to take tissue from the box, shyam tries to touch her hand. With a panicked voice, Khushi tells Anjali to open her eyes. Anjali gets ambiguous, what's happened Khushiji." I don't know how it helps to keep Anjali in the dark about such a man. Had he shown any remorse I would have sided with Khushi about her decision not to tell Anjali, but now he is so revolting. I am remembering what Indi di had written, that somehow Khushi knows he is the son in law and maybe she feels forced to maintain some decorum.

"I thought whether you fall asleep in sitting position, you should sleep comfortably."

Khushi finally escapes from the nefarious man's lascivious sight. But she is cogitating to see his effrontery, how she can stop him.

Sohara so many scenes in this episode and you captured everything. Great attention to detail as always. I absolutely loved all your gifs and edits for this post. Khushi is looking gorgeous in your edits. No wonder Arnav can't stop staring. My favourite is the way you describe the last scene. Sent shivers down my spine remembering how awfully revolting it felt.

Have some comments above as well.
