Sanchi is going somewhere in her car. She gets call from Vivek Kabra. After few rings she picks up the call. Vivekji is profusely apologetic for his behaviour earlier in his office. He tells her that he had been thinking about some other stuff and was upset. She walked in at a wrong time and all his anger was directed at her. Sanchi forgives him. Vivekji is happy. He hopes that Bhaili would not be looking for another lawyer. Sanchi assures him that his job with Bhaili is safe.
Kesar Bagh
Anandi brings biscuits for Amol to the bedroom. Does not find him there. Calls out to him a few times. Ira tells her that he is in the lawn playing ball with Daddu. Anandi is shocked since his exams are in a couple of days. She goes to find him.
Badi Haveli
Gehna brings tea for Dadisa. Gives her tea and falls at her feet. Thanks her profusely for what she has done for her Mayka. Dadisa tells her that she has done nothing great just done her duty and told the truth to the boy's parents. It is better to tell the truth right in the beginning. if everyone told the truth, there would be no problems in the world.
Gehna asks Dadisa whether she gave the token money to her father, since her father had not brought any token money with him. Dadisa tells her that her family is like her own family and getting a girl married is matter will earn her a lot of goodwill. Her entire family will be shielded from evil designs.
She asks Gehna to sit next to her on swing. She gives her half of her tea and tells her that we have shared tea like mother and daughter. Now Gehna should tell her parents not to carry the burden of Kanchan's wedding or that it is being handled by Dadisa. Gehna hugs her.

Daddu and Amol are playing catch catch. Anandi catches the ball and scolds Amol that this is no way to study grammar. Daddu says that it is his fault since he brought Amol down. And open air is good for the mind. Anandi looks at Daddu sternly and tells him that only playing will make Amol a naughty boy and he wont get good marks either. Daddu is duly reprimanded. Anandi takes Amol away after throwing ball back to Daddu.
Badi haveli
Dadisa gets call from Manish's parents. She informs Gehna, Ganga, Sumitra and Jagya that wedding muhurat has been taken out for after holi. Asks Gehna to check with her parents whether they are ok with the date. Jagya is not happy with the dates. Says that Mannu's second chemo session is due to start shortly and will continue till after Holi. There will be lots of noise, arrangements to be done. Mannu will be disturbed. Gehna and Sumitra agree to either ask for date change or venue change. Dadisa is about to call boy's parents but Ganga stops her. Tells her that everything will go as planned. The noise and wedding preparations will divert Mannu's attention from his problems. Jagya agrees. Dadisa calls her Pandit to recheck the muhurat date.

Sanchi is helping Amol with is exam preparations. Anandi comes in and tells Sanchi that she will take over as soon as she finishes cooking dinner. Sanchi tells Anandi that Amol is a bright student and is studying well with her. Sanchi tells Amol that if he tries he can also stand first. Anandi tells him that he is teacher's pet but still must study to get marks. And if he is sincere in his studies coming first is not difficult. it is a good possibility. Amol is excited at this and tells both to leave the room so that he can concentrate.

Anandi is in the kitchen making milk for Amol when Ira walks in and is surprised to see Anandi there. Anandi tells her that Amol is still up studying. She and Sanchi have convinced Amol that he can stand first in class if he makes efforts. Ira expresses happiness at Amol's interest in studies.
Anandi enters her room with milk only to find Amol fast asleep with book across his chest. She gently settles him in bed and puts his books away.
Hospital with Dr Rana, Mannu's doctor
Doctor informs them that chemo is not having any effect and there is no point in rest of the sessions.
Ganga is very upset. She gets angry at the doctor for giving up so easily. Jagya calms her down. Tells her that no doctor gives up until there is still some hope. He enquires about bone marrow replacement. Doctor talks about Abhimanyu as potential donor in a few months. Jagya informs him that they are not real brothers. Doctor then evokes the possibility of using either parent's marrow, Ganga immediately agrees to get hers tested. She is convinced that hers will be a match. Doctor tells them to wait so that a sample can be taken.
VO: mother's love for her child transcends all worldly feelings. She can give her life to ease her child's pain.
Precap: Jagya hugs Mannu and is crying. He informs that Ganga's marrow was not a match. Ganga thinks of Ratan Singh as next option.
