Arshi o.s-my little family

It was a very busy day today for A.R pvt ltd .It was AGM (annual general meeting) of the company and all high officials, stakeholders were going to attend the meeting today. Employees were on their toes, last minute preparation were going on .

A.R., one of India's leading construction company, which was founded by Sunil Raizada & his twin brother Mahesh Raizada 40 years back. Both brothers with their hard work and determination to achieve something were able to bring A.R. to the heights it is today. They were always there to support each other through thick and thin. Now Sunil's son Arnav Raizada was CEO of company while Mahesh's son Kunal Raizada was COO, they were taking company to newer heights. Just like Sunil & Mahesh, Arnav & Kunal were also best friends & brothers for life.

Though having such a big company, Raizada's were very simple, they lived together, along with Mahesh's wife Anjaana and their mother Kalyaani Devi. Arnav's mother Sunaina died 5 years ago ,due to ovarian cancer.

Her death left hole in everyone's heart and Sunil Raizada was the one who was shattered the most. He lost his companion of 30 years .Arnav being single child was really close to his mother. Her death was a huge blow for him, but he never let anyone know about his condition, because he knew his father needs him now .

Time flew by, after 2 years of Sunaina's death suddenly one day Kalyaani Devi started the topic of Arnav's marriage, Arnav was now 29 years old and according to his grandmother it was high time he should get married, though he initially resisted but later gave in as he knew once his family decides on something they will never back off, they were as stubborn as he.

Things moved on like jet speed according to Arnav and within 3 months he was married to Khushi Sharma, his aunt's friend's daughter. Later on he came to know, his family has already chosen this girl for him & after full discussion they talked with Arnav as they knew he will never say no to this girl as she was perfect in every aspect for him.

After initial hesitations and nervousness, he got along with her & today after 4 years of blissful marriage he was proud father of 1 year old son Pranay & was madly in love with his wife. Sometimes people wondered if they really had an arrange marriage, while Pranay was 1 of the cutest kids ever seen, with chubby cheeks, small nose ,large black eyes.

At fix 11'o clock AGM started, all officials were seated, although Sunil & Mahesh has retired from the business ,but they use to come for important meetings like this.

Meeting was going on,people were sitting across large conference table, projector was on ,on which Arnav was explaining something, when suddenly door was opened, everyone was so busy in seeing the presentation that nobody noticed a lady standing stupefied at the corner of room, while a toddler moving on wobbly steps with shine in his eyes and broad smile showing his two teeth squeaked "papa...!!!"

Suddenly it looked like everything came to a standstill, everyone's eyes moved towards the voice.

Little master said again "papa" and moved further .He just took 2 steps and was about to fall but suddenly Arnav came out of reverie and ran to catch his son. Everyone came out from motionless state and glanced towards their CEO, while Arnav's eyes moved towards his wife who was still standing like statue.

"Excuse me, I will come back in 10 min" with that Arnav moved out of room, carrying his son in one hand while grabbing his wife's wrist with the other hand. While in conference room, elder ones nodded their head with understanding smiles, while younger men and women just oohed at the cutest kid's gesture they had seen.

Here Arnav brought both his wife and son to his cabin, all this while 3 of them didn't said a single word as Arnav-Khushi both hadn't recovered from the shock they received, while Pranay was just thinking in his little mind why he wasn't showered with endless kisses and innumerable hugs as always when he did something new!!!!

Entering in cabin Arnav left Khushi's hand & said "What just happened khushi??"

Khushi was still looking at him without blinking. Arnav shook her shoulder a little ,she jerked a little and started saying,"Woh I...I...don't know Arnavji...I'm sorry ,I didn't know there were so many people. I thought you were alone there. Oh that's why Pia was not allowing me to go to that room. I'm sorry, but what to do ,I was so excited to see Pranay walking for the first time today when I was folding the clothes. I couldn't wait for you to come back from office, I left everything and rushed to meet you ..I know you don't want to miss anything when it comes to him. His first blabbering ,first words, first teeth, first movement ,first rolling down.I didn't know today was AGM. Even you didn't mention it in any of our skype chats while I was at Mamma's place, you just kept yourself busy talking and watching Pranay all the while"Khushi stopped to gain catch her breath as she was very scared from Arnav ji's outburst ,although he loved her a lot & their son and never raised his voice unnecessarily but when it comes to business he never compromises and today she just did that, but is was not her fault.

Arnav all this while was silently listening his wife's non -stop chattering, stupefied. His son suddenly caught his cheek in his small hands as he was not happy by the fact that his mummy and papa were not paying attention to him .Arnav looked towards him then at Khushi, he smiled and said "sweetheart I was not asking for any explanation I was just asking when he started walking ??At home or when u r at mamma's home?"

Not waiting for her answer Arnav just bent down on his knees and put Pranay on carpet, while he moved 5-6 steps backwards and said in baby voice

"Pranay , come to papa come baby" and stretched his arms to receive him.

Pranay squeaked again and moved forward to show his new talent hoping that this time he will be rewarded by kisses.

He toddled towards his father in wobbly steps and landed in his father's arms and this time he was showered by kisses and cooing words, he giggled and looped his small arms towards daddy's neck.

Khushi sat near him & said "You are not angry on me?"

"No. i m not."

"But I just.."

"Shhh it ok, khushi, it was nothing wrong ,you were just happy, and along with CEO of company I'm your husband too, you can come to meet me anywhere & this time you gave me another moment of happiness to cherish, our baby's first steps."

"I love you."

"Me too."

And as he leaned towards Khushi to kiss her, Pranay just bobbed his head between again not liking attention shifting from him. Both chuckled seeing their attention seeking child, while cabin door was knocked and opened by Kunal saying"Bhaiyaa, sorry to interrupt ,but I think we should go..while you little tyke, you have to show your walking talent to me too, won't you..?"and pinched his nose.Pranay giggled again and bobbed his head as if confirming his demand

Arnav hmmed ,kissed Pranay once again and gave him to khushi, while Arnav & Kunal moved towards conference room, he just once looked back towards his wife who was holding their son and wondered how many more magical things is waiting for him..!!
