But for Roopal Tyagi, the protagonist of the above Shakuntalam Telefilms show, it was a dreadful experience which she will probably not forget for the rest of her life!!
Wondering why we are saying so?
A reliable source from the set tells us that Roopal had a freaky accident when there was an accidental color and confetti blast, just when Roopal was performing standing very close to the blast machine.
A source elaborates, "It so happened that there was a defect in the color blast machine, which was used to throw out the Holi colors. So few members in the team were looking into the matter, setting right the machine. Since the machine was not in a working condition, the shoot for the performances involving Roopal were being shot. And when Roopal was performing standing in front of the machine, some crew member by accident switched the machine on, resulting in the machine throwing out a splash of red color right on Roopal's face, just near her ear. And the sound of the blast literally left Roopal deaf and speechless for few seconds. She did not even know what happened to her, and stood still with her entire face covered with a red splash of the Holi color. It was really a dangerous accident, but thankfully there was no major injury."
With this information, we buzzed Roopal who said, "Well, I get a shiver when I think of the accident. Everything happened in a split second, and the huge blast deafened me, and the sudden splash on my face left me struggling in pain. My ear was completely red, and I consumed quite a lot of color too. The color went into my eyes, nose and even the ear. It has now been a day since this accident happened, but even now I have this feverish and dull feeling."
Roopal added on, "Soon after the incident happened, I was rushed into my vanity. I took few minutes to compose myself and get back to shoot. However, I was back shooting in 15 minutes. I guess some goof-up happened, but I thank my stars that I am safe today."
