I only saw Paro's pain today ... I really didn't see Rudra's hotness.

It wasn't just Rudra's sensuality on display today I felt...the fact that even in the battle of wills between them he did feel her pain was what made it that much better...
The moment he turned and saw her hands burning his expression was one of worry and guilt as he rushed to her...his stunned expression when she told him why she burnt her hands..no gloating there...his immediate reaction wasn't to drag her out and make her apply mehndi on those hurting hands come what may!
He did what he could to soothe her pain...when the water made her cry out with pain he broke the force with his hand and gently poured water over her injured hands.
All that time there was no sign of the JALLAD.
When she said that he was mocking marriage rituals he countered with the retort that she was mocking the death of true soldiers...it's a true stand off in this battle of wills.

Once Maithili led her outside only then did he proceed to the next step in the battle.
And even that wasn't exactly uncaring...the way he blew on her palm ...gently spread the mehndi on her fingers...

Yes..Paro was hurt because she couldn't imagine mehndi on her hands for him...and after she took the extreme step of hurting herself he still managed to get his way...but he wasn't enjoying or floating over ha victory either and that was very evident.

I for one enjoyed the scenes more because of that...sure they were hot...but devoid of obvious cruelty!

Thanks for voicing my thoughts.. EXACTLY thats how I felt it too.. More than just physical intimacy, its these small things that make me love PaRud and thats why I liked today's episode..

It does not, in anyway, mean that I liked Paro tormenting herself like this.. It killed me SO much seeing her in despair..
