Part 18
As Arnav had said there was a party that night.He had selected Khushi's sari.
As Arnav and Khushi walked in hand in hand,people stared at the couple.Some with jealousy,some in awe at how perfect the couple looked together.Arnav took Khushi to the stage.He grabbed the microphone "May I have your attention please" Everybody stopped what they were doing and looked at him "Thank you for making it to this party.There are two reasons due to why I am having this party.One,I have conquered MS Industries and turned it to another one of my companies" Everybody clapped and cheered "And two" Arnav looked at Khushi "This is my fiance,Khushi.We will be getting married very soon" Everybody clapped and cheered again "Thank you everybody and please enjoy the party" Everybody went back to what they were doing.Arnav took his hand and placed it in front of Khushi "Dance?" he asked.
Khushi hesitated "I..I don't know how-"
"I'll be there with you" he said gently.
Khushi smiled and nodded.She put her hand in his and followed him to the dance floor.Arnav took Khushi's hand and put it on his shoulder.He took the other hand and entwined it with his.Khushi smiled and looked into his eyes 'They are so deep' Khushi realized 'A nice beautiful shade and color' She didn't know how long she kept staring at him.It felt like it was hours until Arnav broke the eye lock.He looked behind him,a bit annoyed "Can I have this dance?" asked a man gesturing towards Khushi.
Khushi tightened her hold on Arnav's shoulder wondering if he would give her away.Khushi frowned "No" he said firmly "She's my fiance.Mine"
The man left.Khushi loosened her grip on Arnav's shoulder.She looked at Arnav slightly amused "What did you mean by that?" she asked.
Arnav stepped towards her,dangerously close.He bent down and pushed a strand of hair behind her ear gently.Khushi closed her eyes at the proximity "Because" he whispered in her ear "You are mine past,now,and forever"
Khushi opened her eyes and looked into his "I am" she said as if reminding herself.
Arnav smiled.The couple danced for some time and then decided to take a break.Just as they stepped off the dance floor,a business associate came up to Arnav wanting to discuss some matters.Khushi stood beside Arnav as the men talked about some deal she couldn't care less about.She felt thirsty and looked around.There was a bar a bit far from where they were standing.She was about to walk there when she felt a hand slip in hers and hold her firmly.She looked at the hand and then realized it was Arnav "Where are you going Khushi? Do you need anything?" asked Arnav.
Khushi nodded.She pointed at the bar "I want some juice"
"I will come with you" he said.
Khushi shook her head "It's alright.I am just going for a drink.I'll be back when I get it"
Arnav hesitated but seeing Khushi pouting he nodded.Khushi grinned and left.He watched as she walked safely to the bar and made sure that the person who was making the drinks didn't add anything negative in her drink.When he was sure she was safe he reluctantly looked at his awaiting associate.He smiled "You really love her" It wasn't a question.It was a statement.
Arnav nodded "More than my life"

Shashi Gupta always kept weapons around him.He carried a gun wherever he went.The gun that killed Khushi and Arnav and more.Shashi was one of the people invited to the party.When he walked in,he was stunned when he saw Arnav dancing...WITH HIS ALIVE DAUGHTER.The realization hit him hard that Khushi was actually alive.His memory finally picked up some things making him realize Arnav was the man Khushi had married and had known he had murdered her.They both looked so young made him wonder if he was just imagining.When Khushi separated from Arnav and went to the bar to get a drink the only thought rang in his head 'KILL HER' and that was exactly what he was going to do.

Khushi felt a pat on her shoulder.She turned around and was surprised when she saw an old man.He looked quite familiar but Khushi just couldn't remember.Khushi smiled "Yes"
The man stared at her for some time "Um can I talk to you?"
Khushi looked at him confused but nodded "Of course"
"Can we talk outside?"
Khushi glanced at Arnav and found him busy talking to many business men.She looked at the man and nodded 'What could possibly go wrong' she thought innocently.
Innocence is pure and sacred but can be used negatively.This Khushi did not realize.She always thought everybody was nice and kind since she was grown in that environment.She believed anyone easily.Including a man she didn't know.

Arnav took a moment to look at the place he had last seen Khushi and froze when she wasn't there.He let his eyes quickly zoom around the room and realized she wasn't inside.His heart began pounding.He felt sweat coming from his forehead when he remembered he had invited Shashi Gupta.He was also nowhere in sight.Arnav ran outside.

"Yes" said Khushi wondering what the man wanted to talk to her about.
"Um" the man said "Look" he said pointing behind her.
Khushi turned around.Shashi took out his gun but before he could point it at Khushi,he heard a voice "Khushi!"
Shashi quickly put the gun back in his coat and looked behind him.It was Arnav.He had a worried expression on his face.He ran up to Khushi and pulled her against him,hugging her tightly "Arnav?" Khushi said confused.
"Khushi I was so worried when I didn't find you in the party" He parted from Khushi and looked at Shashi "Mr.Gupta what are you doing here? You should be inside"
Khushi looked at Arnav and then at Shashi "He said he wants to talk to me about something" she said.
Shashi paled.Arnav tightened his grip around Khushi's waist and looked at Shashi.He faked a smile "I am sure you can say whatever you wanted to tell Khushi in front of me"
"U-Um..." stuttered Shashi "I-I forgot"
"That's what I thought" Arnav mumbled.
Khushi looked at Arnav confused "What did you say?"
Arnav shook his head "Nothing" he looked at Shashi "Please go inside and enjoy the party"Shashi faked a smile and went inside leaving the couple outside alone.Arnav looked at Khushi.He entwined their fingers.He leaned towards her and kissed her.Khushi seemed a bit taken aback but she responded.She held Arnav's shoulders to help her remain on her feet while his hand around her waist helped her too.Breaking the kiss Arnav leaned his forehead against hers "I love you Khushi" he admitted.
Khushi stared at him for a few minutes.Coming a bit closer to him she replied "I think I am in love with you too Arnav"
Arnav stared at her.He couldn't tell or show how happy he was.He said what came into his mind first thing "Marry me Khushi.Marry me today.Marry me now"
