Karmarkar House in the bedroom

Ankita and Naren are sleeping on their bed. Ankita wakes up, she sits and strokes Naren who is still sleeping. Ankita leaves the bedroom.

At the temple

Soham is at the temple. He goes to Ganpati Bappa and prays and says to Ganpati Bappa, this does not mean I'm your friend, we are not friends but I have come here to pray on this one day, my aai's birthday. I have died for her, she doesn't remember me, and I don't want to remember her either but on today's day I can't stop myself from missing her. I had a lot of faith in you and yes, take care of aai. Pia is about to get some water for her but Archana says I got it. Pia gets a phone call from Ovi. Ovi's photo is shown on the phone since she's calling, Pia quickly picks up her phone so Archana can't see Ovi's face and says hello. Yes mom, I am ok. Don't worry, an Indian family here has hired me as a chef, they're a very lovable family, I feel like I'm at my own house. Ovi says Pia that's all fine but where are you? Pia says mom don't worry, everything's fine. Ovi says Pia I'm your mom, I know everything about you, and I understand the reason for that too. You don't want to tell me where you're at? Don't tell me but please take care of yourself. Pia says don't worry mom, everyone's taking very good care of me here. Don't worry. Ovi says ok, you remember what today is? Today is your aaji's birthday. Pia says obviously mom, how can I forget such a big day?

We all are good but you haven't met everyone here yet so why did you lie to your aai like that? Pia says if I did not lie to mom then she would worry so much, so I thought it would be best to lie. Archana says whatever it is but you should not lie to your mother, as much as you tell the truth to your mom you will be happy. Next time please try to remember. Pia says yes maam. Archana smiles. Pia thinks to herself, aaji, just a few more days, once everything is sorted out, then no hide and seek. I will tell you that Ovi is my aai and I am your granddaughter.

Deshmukh House

Manav and Archana are in the room. Manav looks at how nice the dining table is set up. Manav says wow, what a nice presentation. I told you Archana, that girl is awesome. Archana says these presentations don't matter, the cooking is important and the desire to cook. Pia comes out to the room and says maam, sir, the dinner is ready. Servants are coming out with trays of food. Pia says I made a favorite dish for everyone who lives in this house. Pia gets the food out for Teju, Pushti, Manav, and Puran Poli for Archana. Archana says, how do you know everyone's favorite dish? Pia says how is that difficult to know, so many servants are here working for so many years, I just asked them. Pushti hangs up, Archana says Pushti do you want to go to Sandra's birthday party? Pushti says yes. Archana says so then go. Pushti says really aaji? Should I go, you won't be mad right? Archana says no, absolutely not. Pushti smiles and says ok, I will go. Pushti says bye aaji, bye Ajoba, see you. Pushti leaves. Manav says Archana, I will call everyone to come here.

Karmarkar House

Ankita is at the Karmarkar House, she is walking down the stairs. The house servant comes by and he gives the day's newspaper to Ankita. Ankita takes it and says thank you. Ankita reads one of the newspaper headlines, which read Karmarkar's Son Raunaq Karmarkar Jailed in Rape Case of Mansi Raghav Mhatre.

Mahatre House

Mansi, Prashant and Shashank are in the main room. Prashant brings the newspaper to Mansi and says Mansi, look! Prashant shows Mansi the newspaper and says Raunaq's deeds have been published in the newspaper. Everyone was after us but see now, their eyes will open, and now you can go outside. Shirish and Sunanda are sitting down on their top floor. Naren and Ankita come. Naren brings some juice for Shirish, he says dad, drink juice with breakfast, not water. Naren brings Attu's juice for her. Naren brings some breakfast for Sunanda but Sunanda says Naren I don't want to eat. Naren says Dad, Attu, I know what's happening outside, how it happened and why it happened but you said yourself, not eating is not a solution. We have to fight with our problems, and to fight we need strength and how do we get strength, by eating. Ankita says Attu, I know I am somewhat the reason of what is happening in this house, but whatever I did was my duty. I just fulfilled my duty as a sister and as a daughter, now I will fulfill the duty of this family. Please eat. Naren insists his Attu to eat but Sunanda still isn't in the mood.
